Stuff I did today! And it's my first time.

Any advice, or anything you people have to say, would be absolutely wonderful. I don't plan on making a hobby or anything out of this, but if no one else wants to at the time, I'd be willing to potentially take a request or two.

Anyways, here. I did these today.

The last two images were already set to 100x200 for me, credit to Eme for that. :3 I just added round corners and some effects to each.

It's all about the texture abuse. As for how to get textures, search deviantART for texture packs. Apply as a new layer on top of the image, and shift until you feel better about it. That's how I do it.

Not bad. Not bad at all. ಠ_ಠ

Texture tips from yours truly: Play with layer styles. Also on Photoshop you can adjust the opacity on the Eraser. 300px Eraser at zero hardness and 25-40% opacity = Fun.

Misc: The orange-purple Gradient Map goes well with anything. It's fun to play with adjustment layers in general.

Also if you want to experiment, try hitting up some brush packs. You'd be surprised what you can do with the brush tool.

homg gradient maps. they are your best. frigging. friend.
no exaggeration. i hardly ever use textures on any of my signatures, and when i do, i'm extremely specific about which ones. i rely solely on gradient maps and the desaturate tool, which is pretty much just a greyscale gradient map.

by the way, very impressive for your first time. YOU CAN ONLY GET BETTER FROM HERE~
