Pretty simple. Which game was your favourite in the series and why?
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask No other game had made me feel like saving the people of the world was equally important to saving the world itself, and not being able to stop the tragedies of the three people who Link got his transformation masks from, even with the power of time travel, really got to me. Playing a run where I successfully solved everyone's problems in the world in the three day span while beating all the bosses/etc and final boss to right the world alongside them was one of the most challenging and fun exercises Zelda's ever given me.

*Clones Bilby's response*
Honestly, this is the reason why I'm such a fan of the Persona series as well and stuff, any game where you actually get in touch with people, get to save them and learn about them, that kind of stuff makes you WANT to do the best you can, to fight and win for them.
Anyone who hasn't played Majora's Mask should, its practically required. There are very few games out there that truly make you feel like a Hero as well as this game does.

I'm going to have to say a tie between A Link to the Past and Wind Waker.
A Link to the Past was my first Zelda game (and I think it might have been the first video game I bought for myself). It's got all the usual Zelda elements (even without the story stands pretty well on it's own feet anyway) and I think that the Dark World had to have been my favorite part because just as you got the landscape down and figured out in the Light World, suddenly everything's different for you (and you were a Pink Bunny XD ). No matter how many times I've played it I always have a blast when I go back to play it again (except at the Tower of Hera, that damn Moldorm can go die in a thousand fires).
Wind Waker I loved because of how the world was completely changed: You could go looking for sunken treasure hidden in the depths of the Great Sea, try to find the elusive Ghost Ship during the right phases of the Moon, explore uncharted islands, fight off Enemy Ships and Cannon Platforms, sneak aboard Miniblin Submarines. There was just so much to do without even counting the main story and the usual Zelda elements (hunting for the Great Fairies, trading quest, Heart Piece hunting, etc).
I love them both so ;D

I have to put my vote in for Twilight Princess. It had alot of the good parts that OOT was known for and then some, I liked the wide expansion of Hyrule that had never been done before. The fights were amazing, especially the one on one sword fight with Ganondorf. I liked how you had a hand in learning Links various sword techniques instead of just having it by default. It was also interesting to see a Link that didn't have any magical abilities in hand. Plus Wolf Link FTW. Storyline rocked, it was good to see that Zelda wasn't the only damsel in distress and that Link wasn't alone in his quest to save Hyrule.

For me, it's a tie between MM and TP. I mean, MM was just effing amazing, and although TP was a tad straightforward and easy as all heck, dear god was that gorgeous. Especially wolf!Link.
Also, I can't believe that they did OoT in 3DS but not MM. If Nintendo doesn't make Majora's Mask for the 3DS, some heads are gonna roll, broski.

Majora's Mask is my favorite because it is definitely the most challenging. All the others are too easy.
Twilight Princess is high on my list too, but only because of Midna.

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Seriously? Does no one else not remember that feeling you got when you first entered Kokiri village on the n64? OoT was what paved the way for 3D gaming as a whole. It was the first game not only in the Zelda series, but in the entire industry to do what it did. It was truly an amazing feat to accomplish on the n64 and I know that Im not alone when I say that it is still to this day one of, if not, the best video game of all time.
Don't believe me? Go to a gaming convention and ask around what the best video game ever is.
Don't get me wrong. MM is a great game on its own. Is it better than OoT? I don't think so. It capitolized on a lot of what OoT did. Being the sequal it has the unfair advantage on improving on OoT. This is why OoT is the better game to me.

Legend of Zelda. The very first game. Think about the things it allowed you too do, for a Nintendo system game. You could explore the map as much as you wanted to without being forced to stay on a single path. You could go to any dungeon in any order to get the pieces of the triforce. Granted, you really should go from first to last, but still. It was the most.. free of all the Zelda games. It had classic lines too. "Its dangerous to go alone, take this" and "Its a secret to everybody" And the Japanese console of the game even had a speaker system in the second controller that if you spoke into it, it'd stun the large eared rabbit things. TheseAll and all. It started this entire thing.
