This isn't to be mean, but to ensure thread completion and to maybe get someone else involved who can be more active. Casual Style!] The pale mage flew over the Minish Forest. Hyrule had changed in his absence. Swamps had blanketed the forest with poison. The ice had melted and the river flowed swift enough to drown a man. There were provinces now, and the Minish had become base animals.
With every second he grew stronger. It wouldn't be long now. It was like fire inside him. He growled with the effort of keeping it in, and a wisp of smoke came out of his mouth. He had lost so much and now it was all coming back at once. His shell could barely handle it.
The pale mage called the wind and bid the trees kneel. The forest bared itself to him. He breathed in the storm. It was the sweetest thing he had ever tasted. And he still couldn't find it.
The one who freed him from his metal prison had told him to look for the Picori. The Picori have it, he'd said while the pale mage tried to remember how to breathe. His purple cloak was still in tatters, his violet tunic rags. His violet hair whipped around in the wind as he rode the hurricane in his wake. It had been hours since the stranger had pulled him from those ruins. Already the pale mage had searched half the forest.
His people were here somewhere, and they were no better than animals. He was the one true Picori left in the world. How dare they steal from him?
An explosion up above. WHO DARES?
The pale mage twists in the air and he sees the tiger. Green fire, radiant and tremendous. It towered over him. Its roar made his bones ache and his teeth rattle and it was so very loud. He had bones again. And teeth. That would take getting used to.
The tiger pounched. For a moment the pale mage could see the future. He would burn. This whole forest would burn. His freedom would end.
"NO!"
Thankfully, clairvoyance was beyond the pale mage. The tiger passed through him harmlessly and vanished. It had just told the entire province - if not the entire world - where he was, but he lived.
Reluctantly, the pale mage went to ground. Without a wearer, it gave of little trace for him to follow. Perhaps the illusion had been a beacon, telling him where it was?
No such luck. The forest around him was quiet. But for how long?

(OOC: Putting my vote out there for casual) "Yo."
The Emperor had come just in time.
Poor little guy had nearly been killed by some... tiger thing. Such a thing groud Nightmare's gears. Of course, it looked like it had been an illusion. As Nightmare watched from a tree, the thing had gone right through the little purple d00d and ran right on by. Immediately afterward, he hopped down from his tree and approached the mage on the ground, curious as to what was going on. If it erupted into violence, then at least he could defend himself. Being a dragon meant being awesome, even if it were just in reputation.
Walking over to the mage, he immediately wrapped his arm around the little guy's shoulder, and pointed in the direction that the tiger thing ran off to. "It's the eye of the tiger, it's the cream of the fight." Nightmare explained to the mage, at least trying to ease the poor guy into his current predicament. "Rising up to the challenge of our rivals." He told the mage how things worked. Though he'd never tell the mage, he was just lying out of his ass. Not that the little guy had to find out now, right?
He motioned in another direction of the forest, as if indicating that there was something to do with that particular direction. "And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night" He pointed out how this ritual he was making up ended, educating the poor guy... and maybe scaring him, he wasn't really sure. He turned to the wind mage, taking his arm off and instead gripping his shoulders and staring him in the eyes.
"And he's watching us all in the eye of the tiger."

I beg to differ, make me an offer Coiled up in a ball nuzzling against the grass laid a picori taking a nice nap. Her dark feline ears twitched a couple of times as she let out a small yawn. Her matching tail with a white tip wrapped around her petite frame~ Her head rested against her bag, knowing that she didn't have anything fragile inside, and just slept away most of the day. Her nap would come to a conclusion unfortunately, due to the restlessness in the wind.
The forest was on the edge as something had arrived in the Minish territory, something that didn't give off a welcome presence. The resting picori opened up one eye, peering up at the sky for a moment, as if trying to understand the wind's incessant calls. Her curiosity was instantly piqued at whatever was going on, thus it was time to get up, and go take a look around.
"Nyaaaaaoooo~" she purred stretching her stiff frame. Once she was ready, and up on her feet, she picked up her bag, and started strolling through the forest. She didn't have to go far as she stopped in her tracks at the sound of a voice. She quickly turned herself around, and began walking in that direction until she came up to two figures right in front of her. She quickly pressed her body against a tree, peeking her head out from the side spying on the two that were there. One of them was a man as pale as a ghost. The other...
"That man who threw me in the fountain!" she hissed softly. Her anger would be put aside for now as her curiosity took priority over some petty prank from the past. Something was rather off about the whole scenario there, but Seyka couldn't take it seriously, when Nightmare was giving a speech she knew he was lying through his teeth. Just like before, and as of that moment, she knew that blonde was up to something. Something no good. "His humor's as dry as the back of a goron," she muttered. With a small sigh escaping her lips, she scratched the back of her ears, stalking the two. The pale mage whom Night had his arm wrapped around seemed familiar, but at the same time, Seyka knew nothing of him. Could he be Picori as well?
Seyka was only left to assume so, but he looked like he's taken a trip to Hades, and back.
"Hey, are you ok? You look pretty low," she said appearing from behind the tree, "Very handsome awkward." Warm summer rain you bleed

That green fire. Hadrian had never seen something quite like it before. He could feel it, even being so far from it. It emanated a discomforting feeling to the old Knight and a disciplined sense of duty told him to check it out. A gauntlet hand grabbed Yggdrasil, a pure white staff marked with golden runes and pulled it from its resting point against one of the nearby trees.
With haste, Hadrian started through the shrubbery, moving in between trees and vegetation. A large sword, strapped to his back occasionally got caught on vines and in trees but easily cut through the restraints. His armor rattled lightly as he hurried through the forest. The old man moved quite well dispute his age. In truth, he could outrun and outmaneuver most of the young knights he commanded.
He slowed as he reached the source, silencing his movements. A young blond man was crouching not too far away and a small feline was a few feet from him. Upon closer observation, Hadrian could see a Minish man in purple garb in the arms of the blond. The minish seemed shaken but uninjured.
"Is everything alright?" Hadrian asked in a calm voice while remaining in alert. He wasn't sure of the situation or who might be enemy or friend. Stopping about five feet from the Minish man, he knelt down as well to get a better look. Brushing back, long, gray and unruly hair from his face, Hadrian leaned a little bit closer. "You happen to see what transgressed here?" he asked Nightmare.

[OOC: One more person may still join, and there is no posting order.] The pale mage found himself in the hands of a madman. A madman who seemed to know something. A madman who seemed to know something trailed by a knight and a minish. "That illusion - that was your doing?" He addressed the madman as he escaped his grip.
"I'm looking for the Minish Village." The mage addressed all of them, his voice clearly demanding an answer. These vermin might be of use after all.

Nightmare watched as the others came into view. He noticed the adorable catgirl back from the fountain coming along. Always lovely company. Even if she was a clutz, and fun to throw into fountains, still adorable. However, she was quickly followed by an old man. "Obi-Wan Kenobi, what brings you to the dank forests of Faron?" He mouthed off to the man that arrived, giving an arrogant grin in his direction. Though his eyes perked at the old man's question. "Oh no, just the usual. Ancient evil being revived into an apocalyptic threat and the world of Hyrule being the only thing able to stop it. 50 Rupees says this is happening elsewhere and will happen again." He replied with a shrug.
"No. Not my doing. I do know it though. Looooooong story, believe me." He responded to the mage, patting him a few times on the head. It was a long story, but maybe he could nutshell it for the little guy.
Again, he gripped the mage, and suddenly, Nightmare's face became stone, deathly serious. It was as if a new personality had taken over entirely. For a brief moment, Nightmare had stopped trolling, stopped dicking around, and decided to actually say something real. "What would you say if I told you there was a conspiracy to kill the spirits of light led by evil sages fighting for their shadow goddess and that I briefly died and dated the princess of another world? And at the center of that conspiracy was a shadow-watching drow douche bag? And that it all started with the nonghost of the thing that just ran by?"
After that, silence... completely ignoring the mage's question.

I beg to differ, make me an offer "Have you ever thought about doing your own stand-up comedy?" she asked Night; sarcasm dripping in her words. "Your tales are quite entertaining~"
She wasn't quite sure whether or not she should believe him, but she couldn't help but grin at the extent of his audacity. The way he was egging the picori mage was certainly entertaining. She still didn't feel comfortable with this whole deal going as peaceful as it was. Given that it was rather tense with Nightmare being... well, for a lack of a better word, a pest. She looked over to the new arrival, and acknowledged his presence.
Her magenta eyes then looked back over to the minish male. If he truly was of minish descent then he was probably one of the few that pertained to their original forms as the rest of their race have began to change thanks to evolution through the decades, and taking animal based forms. Though what puzzled her was the fact that he was... asking - no, demanding them if they knew where the Minish Village was. An eyebrow quirked up at such a statement and her curiosity was piqued.
"You're picori, are you not?" she answered his question with another question. She tilted her head slightly to the side as a soft smile curled up upon her feline lips. Her gentle magenta eyes flickered brightly with interest. "Then certainly you should know how to find what you're looking for."
Her answer was vague, but she was telling the truth. You really had to be a minish in order to find the village of your own kind. The Picori did not let anybody find them unless they wanted to be found. It was the reason why Seyka disclosed her presence to them. Nightmare, and the gentleman who arrived shortly after the cat girl would not be of any help, because she was pretty positive neither of them have ever been there. "What business do you have in the village?" she asked, crossing her arms below her chest. Warm summer rain you bleed

Hadrian ignored the boys's attempt at getting him flustered. Children often possessed an unwarranted self importance that the old man disregarded. He was hopeful that the boy would eventually grow out of it. Arrogance has very little stable foundation but true pride on the other hand, unbreakable. He did take his next statement into consideration...with a grain of salt, of course.
"How do you figure it's that bad?" Maybe Hadrian has been desensitized to what apocalyptic really means after seeing all the things he has. He's seen death plenty from wars and raids, women and children failed to be spared. Maybe this kid knows something that Hadrian doesn't. But Hade didn't jump to any conclusions. And after his long winded theory, Hade tried to make sense of it, if any of it was true; but he has seen weirder in his time.
He refrained from asking more questions just yet. Overwhelming the small mage with too much stimulus might cause some inconveniences that he could do without. Instead, he turned to the feline, obviously Minish as well. She seemed the most informed about this mage's predicament and situation.
The old man was fairly unfamiliar with the Faron Providence. He's spent time here but not enough to get fully acquainted with these forests. A lot of secrets were hidden within the shrubbery and he hasn't really had the chance of exploring in person, only reading about it. This would be a good time to learn, after all, something unfamiliar just happened.
But, regardless of his lack of knowledge, something seemed off. Maybe it was the mage or the blond's conspiracy, as eloquently as it was put. The Minish girl seemed true, and she spoke to the boy as if she knew him. Hadrian would just have to see how this would play out.

"Gettin' drunk in the forest
Doot doot doo
Gettin' drunk in the forest
That's what I doooooo~"
Hulio was not exactly known for his song writing abilities. Nor his voice. Years of alcohol had basically made most of his singing sound drunken now, then again with so much alcohol in his system it was amazing he could even string two recognizable words together. Today was a good day so far. Yesterday he had gone to visit his mother again, they had dinner and when he woke up she told him he could go take a walk or something while she prepared all the fishing gear for tomorrow. With another swig he walked through the forest with his eyes closed and yet stepped around like he had the place memorized. After all, in the forest your eyes tended to be a liability most of the time. So much green and brown, so many similar shapes ended up screwing with your perception which is how humans would get lost easily unless they took a specific path or went in an exact straight line. The forest had so much more than what you could see too, it was almost insulting to only rely on your eyes in here. The wind through the trees, the chirps of birds, the fox stalking a mouse two meters to his south west, Hulio could detect them all in vivid detail. Walking through the forest with a bottle of the hard stuff was one of the most relaxing and peaceful things Hulio loved to do. After all, the city was great but you always had to take time to keep yourself grounded in this crazy world.
Of course, sometimes the crazy world had a crazy habit of following you where you went. He heard voices a few meters away. Three males, one female. Their ages were spread out, one sounded relatively young while there was a 20-something male and female with an older man. Yet there was the faint scent of magic in the air, a slightly dark scent lingered over the young one and it also smelled like a creature of light or something had just passed by. Still, lots of people had a dark scent on them and Hulio never liked to judge. He began walking towards the group, sniffing them out as he approached. Body weight, magical signature, body size and shape, he took it all into account and could hazard a guess at their race. He was just barely able to see them now, but he had already guessed that the girl was a minish, there was a human male, and the older male was something between human and Hylian. With that kind of magic Hulio guessed he was more Hylian.
It was an odd thing to see Hulio walk out from the very thickest of the trees and bushes. He stepped around so casually like he owned the place, completely unlike most humans who at least stumbled around just a little bit in the forest. Of course the appearance didn't help either. It was slightly hot, so his shirt was off and his tattoos were showing. Perhaps if Seyka could ignore the mean looking designs she'd appreciate the free eye candy. "Eeeeyyyy there compadres! What're you doing in a place like this?" He greeted, smiling and taking another drink. He smelled a lot like various fruits. Hulio preferred harder stuff but as the minish lived in the forest their alcohol ended up being equally fruity.
He walked up to Night and roughly shook his hand, "Name's Hulio brother, you don't look like you're from around here! You from Castle Town hermano?" he inquired with that trademark charming smile of his. It had to be charming to override the massive scar on his face that tended to scare people off. "And you..." He mentioned, looking over to Seyka. He walked over to her and acted the gentleman, taking her hand softly and kissing it. "Forgive my ignorance of you mi bella, I haven't had the joy of seeing you in the village before." The veritable Casanova whispered happily, a playful look in the eyes. Leaving Seyka to muss over that as distance always made the heart fonder, he sauntered over to the young mage and put a strong arm around his shoulders as if to guard him.
"You look lost ah? I tell you what, I know a good set of shortcuts in this forest so we step through here and have some fun when we in town right? Sound like a good plan amigo?"

The pale mage was tempted to show this madman exactly what kind of apocalyptic threat he was manhandling.
But not yet.
He hadn't found it yet.
"I'd tell you you're a madman who isn't worth my time," he growled contemptuously and started to extricate himself from the man's grip when he was double-teamed by a drunk. And now the rat was talking back to him.
"Enough!" Shoving the two men away from himself with more force than the pale mage's short, almost starved frame should have been able to exert, he made his way to the cat minish and lifted into the air, gaining a few inches on her height-wise. Voice crackling with barely-constrained wrath, the pale mage made his ultimatum. "You have one chance to be useful. Take. Me. To. Your. Elder."

The mage was a damn punk.
And he was also clearly a threat.
As the mage began demanding things in a threatening tone, to the cute kitty girl no less, Nightmare looked over towards Hulio and Hadrian. The young man had to be detained, and in order for that to happen, he would likely have to be incapacitated. Plus you know, he shoved away the Dragon Emperor. Not cool, bro. Making sure they saw him, Nightmare slowly lifted a finger to his lips, telling them to be quiet or they could end up turning this into something so much worse. Turning his gaze to Seyka, looking over Vaati's shoulder, he gave the same signal; don't blow his cover.
Slowly, Night began to sneak over to Vaati's position, taking special care to avoid things like dead foliage or anything else in the forest that could give away his position. He wanted to make sure the mage had no idea he was sneaking up on him, and was taking every precaution possible to ensure it.
When he did get close those, as in, within striking distance close, he moved as fast as he could, and sent his leg up, his shin aiming right between the legs of the wind mage. The young mage was still a male, and as such, suffered from the same weakness. A good strike could perhaps incapacitate him, or at least keep him from performing as well if he did choose to fight.

I beg to differ, make me an offer Talk about a rather hectic scene. Though the main question Seyka had at the moment as why did a picori did not know the location of his own village? By nature of the shy Minish, it was almost like a mutual secret they all shared not disclosing anything about their whereabouts to anyone, let alone outsiders. It was strange to have one of your own command such a thing as taking him to the village. If he did not know it's location then that would leave the cat girl to assume that he was not meant to approach her home. Her instincts were kicking in, telling Sey Sey he held no good intentions whatsoever should he have his way and be taken to her home. Like leading the wolf directly to the flock of sheep.
Her attention was quickly diverted by the arrival of yet another male. However she was taken back by the surprise scent of various fruits combined with alcohol that coated the new male's arrival. The best she could describe him was simply a drunkard, who sauntered over to their company, making the party a bigger than before. Quite literally. Seyka could swear that she was the shortest one there, probably matching up with the pale mage's height. Her gentle magenta eyes flickered brightly as they widened at the alcoholic, her porcelain cheeks flushed a tinge of pink for a split second realizing the man was shirtless.
Really now~ Swaggering around as if he owned the forest. He probably thought he was in Margaritaville~ Then all of a sudden personally greeted Night, and Sey Sey. Her face reddened when Hulio took her hand, and placed a kiss against the back of her palm. One could swear the cat girl had steam coming out of her feline ears as her tail shot up in pure shock of the man's bold approach.
However the flustered behavior diminished from existence after the fourth man gave his offer to the pale mage, and snapping what little strings of patience he had left in him. Her face returned back to it's normal fair tone as her magenta eyes looked back at Vaati. She let out a small mew of fright as he approached her, and gave her a threat. Now she knew right away that he was up to no good, and he showed hostile intent if he did not get his way. Her eyebrows furrowed staring down the Picori mage with a silent poise. Out of the corner of her eye, she got a glimpse of Nightmare's signal, and began formulating a plan to help him out~
"I'll take you to the village," she spoke calmly, "On one condition. Give me your name."
She only hoped that whatever his plan was would work, otherwise, the poor girl would be in trouble. Warm summer rain you bleed

[OOC: Hadrian and Hulio have been skipped once. Props to Nightmare for throwing the first punch.] His name his name he had to remember his name.
Of course. How could he have forgotten?
How could the world have forgotten?
"My name," the pale mage growled. "Is VHNNNNNNG." The pale mage froze and his eyes slowly crossed as he dropped to the ground groaning. It took him mere moments to catch his breath, though. His shell was more durable than it seemed. "I'm done reasoning with you people," he announced as he picked himself off the ground and went further, flying once more over the treetops that parted before the storm of his passing.
"I AM VAATI! I AM THE GREATEST SORCERER THAT HAS EVER LIVED! AND I! DON'T! HAVE! TIME! FOR YOUR! HORSESHIT!"
Whipped to the edge of hurricane by his rage, the wind became a storm that on the ground would certainly make it hard for anyone to stay balanced, or even grounded. It also showed Vaati what he was looking for. Out of the corner of his eye, Vaati caught the familiar sight of a forest Minish village. His passing left a thunderclap where he had once floated. It took him moments to reach the village and set down at its center. The storm followed him faithfully.
He waited surprisingly calmly as the villagers rose to the edge of panic. Some ran, some hid, and some came out to gawk at the man who had just descended from the sky like the wrath of gods. One minish in particular - an aging, decrepit wolf - hobbled out of the crowd to confront him. His large walking staff and the deference of his peers marked his position. "You are the Elder."
The old wolf nodded once.
"Your kind took something from me a long time ago. You will tell me where it is hidden."
A pause, and then the wolf shook his head.
He was the first to die.

Nightmare grinned in success as Vaati collapsed to the ground in sheer agony, groaning for a few seconds before rising to his feet. That wasn't expected. The little guy could sure recover from such a severe injury remarkably fast, that was for sure. He burst into laughter at the mage's calm reaction. To Night, that just gave him the idea that the mage had been completely humiliated. Nightmare shouted at the mage one thing, one thing he was certain would be heard.
"You mad bro?"
And then Vaati had an ego boost to rival Night's.
"Right."
Nightmare hadn't panicked when the storm started. He didn't mind storms. They were a force to be feared, yes, but they were also something to be adored. The only thing that threw Nightmare off guard was the violence of the storm. Such things usually only occurred near the water, or under very specific conditions. That caused him to unsheathe Silversnake and plant it into the ground as support, but as a result, he didn't even falter. He narrowed his gaze though. Wind and Nature. For all his boasting, the mage wasn't subtle and had revealed his strengths, and their weaknesses. Because of this, Nightmare not only knew his powers, but the extent of which they could go.
"You guys can stay here if you want, I'll go take care of him." Nightmare shrugged. He wouldn't wait for an answer, no objections that he couldn't go alone. He took his ring off and tossed it into his mouth, keeping it secure under his tongue and sheathed Silversnake. Immediately after, his form changed to show what he really was. The legendary winged beast of the sky towering over the others that were there.
By threatening Seyka and being so threatening, Vaati had eliminated all possibility of the others turning on Nightmare for his nature. In a way, Vaati's actions, done in rage and anger, were seriously benefitting the Emperor.
Without even a roar, Nightmare lifted off the ground using his wings and up into the sky off in Vaati's direction. The dragon had no intention of announcing his presence before he even got there. Dragons carried a strong element of surprise, and he intended to use it. The winds weren't much trouble for him. Slightly slowed, yes, but he wasn't being completely blown.
As Nightmare looked down, he noticed the village -- and Vaati -- and decided it would be his chance. Fire began to form in his mouth with an intense heat. The Dragon King immediately decided to descend, and allowed himself to plummet towards his target; right behind Vaati.
He landed only about 10 feet behind Vaati with a thunderous sound as the ground in the immediate area shook a little. Right then, he discharged his fire breath, the white flames headed straight for the Wind Mage. He planned to use the sudden shock of a dragon in your face in order to get a powerful blow in. Who knows, maybe with the illusion earlier, Vaati might just consider the dragon another one and ignore it, which would undoubtedly result in pain.
As the intense white fire barreled towards Vaati Nightmare awaited the Wind Mage's reaction.
Truth be told though, Nightmare had plans for Vaati, but that didn't mean he wouldn't rough him up. If he was so great as he claimed, he could survive.
Summary: Verbally kicked Vaati while he was down, went dragon, flew over to Vaati's position and breathed fire at him.

Hadrian shielded his face as the winds got stronger, trying to block debris from hitting his eyes. The hair waved violently in the gales and he sunk his staff into the ground to anchor himself down. Through squinted eyes, he watched the wind mage launch into the air, blowing away trees and vegetation. Hadrian held on for dear life, trying to not get thrown completely out of the forest. In a split moment, he noticed the mage's focus turn to a small village under the leaves. Before Hadrian could react, the mage was moving towards the village.
A bright light formed in the palm of Hade's hand, soon forming into a wide barrier in front of him. Directly behind the shield the winds were calm and Hadrian could move easily, making his way off before Nightmare could utter his words. He shoved the barrier forward at a quick pace and Hadrian ran along with it, deflecting the winds, making running just as easy again. Charging full on, he rushed for Vaati but much to Hadrian's suprise, a massive dragon, obviously Nightmare, decending behind the mage, with fire in his mouth. The old man refused to stop however, and just as Hadrian had ran up under the dragon, in between the dragon and Vaati. He stopped the shield right behind Vaati and jumped around to his side. The dragon's fire hit the shield and split off, being deflected away. Hade didn't bother to stop and explain his motives to the young boy, hopefully he was smart enough to know why.
His intentions were not to save Vaati but the Minish Village instead. It was already too late to save the elder, however. Hadrian reared a fist back, golden magic washing over it. The old man lunged forward, swinging his fist at the Mage. The split second before contact, the golden magic exploded out directly at Vaati. The fire still swarming around in the violent air after being deflected by the shield. Hadrian quickly dashed to the side, always on the move. From the flanking position, Hadrian unleashed a cone of light energy directed at the mage. The old man was careful where to step, keeping balanced in the wind.

I beg to differ, make me an offer Seyka wasn't sure if she should frown at Night's immaturity or smile at the sheer amusement of his childish prank. Not that it really mattered since his plan turned out to be a flawless success. She had to bite her bottom lip softly to keep her snickers from coming out. However play time was cut shorter than anybody expected. Just as quickly as he collapsed, he rose up from the earth like a weed, his rage was as strong as it had been before. Seyka could only guess now it was time to take the man seriously.
Her magenta eyes looked up to where the mage flew as he proudly announced his name. Looks like Night really pissed the guy off~ After receiving a name though, it only confirmed her suspicions that he was not meant to find the village. Unfortunately, it seemed like there wasn't going to be anything stopping the minish mage from his search. The storm he formed was a troublesome for the ground dwellers, namely, the lightest, and smallest member of the group. As much as she tried to stay firm with her feet on the ground, the wind proved to be much stronger, and tossed her backwards. She grumbled under her breath watching the wind mage disappear.
Just as Seyka managed to get herself up onto her feet, she found herself planted on her back again, this time from the wind that blew off from Night changing forms. Powerful wings taking him up off of the ground, and the poor cat girl back onto it. "For the love of Nayru..." she hissed. She kicked her feet upwards, lifting herself up again, and jumped up into the trees.
Like a ninja, she raced back to her village, figuring out as she went long from branch to branch how to stop the wind mage from causing havoc in her home. There would be far too many casualties should violence break out. As her home came within sight, she watched from her height the scene take place. Her heart sank deep within the pits of her stomach as she watched dragon Night breathe out fire straight at the wind mage.
Though that would be the least of her problems.
She didn't watch the rest of the scene to take place before she lunged off of the branch, and raced towards the village. Both of her hands began to glow a bright light as she clapped her hands together, and just as quickly as she clasped them together, she separated them. In between the space of her hands was pure light flashing until a barrier formed. Encircling the cat girl, what Hadrian failed to realize was by deflecting the flames with his shield, it lead the possibility of the flames being forked. The direction of the fire streaming towards another target: the Minish Village. So instead, she put up her shield to take the stream of fire, and used the very same method to direct the fire away from the village, and over to Vaati. Warm summer rain you bleed
Summary. Redirected the stream of fire away from the village, and back over to Vaati.

Roaring laughter. That was what burst forth the moment Night's foot struck gold. Hulio was gripping his side with one hand and bent over, slapping his knee with the other the moment he had gotten up. "BAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA..." He shouted in glee, taking deep breaths to fuel his laughter further. It was a good natured prank and it'd take a few drinks to dull the pain but the kid would get over it.
Until that little tirade about being the great sorcerer ever and not taking horse shit.
"CABRON!! HE'S HEADING FOR THE-" He bellowed, then interrupted by the sudden transformation of Night with Hardrian and Seyka running off. He had to follow. Human or not, he was a member of the village and it had been the place he was born.
Of course when he burst out of the bushes and saw Night begin breathing fire he wasn't exactly amused. He was about to roar at him to stop when Hadrian rushed forward to form a shield. "Perfect!" he thought, "He might absorb it or something!". The hybrid was forced to duck suddenly as the flames forked and soared over his head. Broiling inside, Hulio grit his teeth and hissed a single word.
"Pendejo."
He rolled and looked behind him. Fire. Spreading, and fast. "F*CK!" He swore, stamping out a small flame nearby. He looked over at the center of the village and roared "STOP!! F*CKING STOP ALL OF YOU IDIOTS!!!" so loud that any more volume could make the ground shake.
He looked to Seyka, the only worried but approving look he could give at the moment and signaled at her, waving her away. "Senorita, VAMANOS! Get the people out of here!" He ordered, trying to salvage some kind of coordination with their rag-tag team. His look went sour a thousand times over as he turned his head at Night.
"YOU!! A F*CKING DRAGON!! WHO THE F*CK INVITED YOU AND MADE YOU KING OF BURNING DOWN MY HOME!!"
His head turned to Vaati.
"AND YOU!! YOU THINK YOU GOT GOT CAJONES WALKING INTO MY VILLAGE, ACCUSING SHIT ABOUT MY PEOPLE EH!?"
Finally, to Hadrian.
AND YOU!! WORST OF ALL F*CKING YOU!! ARE YOU F*CKING SENILE YOU IDIOT?! WOOD, MY VILLAGE IS MADE OF FREAKING WOOD AND THAT SHIT BURNS!!!"

This had to be some kind of joke. Before, ages ago, Vaati had once toyed with the idea that the universe and all its laws were one vast running gag. There was no cause or effect. Only the setup and the punchline. As the regal knight redirected the dragon's fire to spread wildly all around them in the middle of the goddamn village, Vaati couldn't help but wonder if everyone else was getting the joke too.
As the blazing light energy burned away at his shell, it revealed a swirling black mass underneath. The wound was slight, the change was unnoticeable, but it was apparent that Vaati did not bleed. Laughing, the mage took to the air once again, tunneling through the fire on a column of air. He was now roughly eye-level with the dragon as he watched the conflagration run its course.
Bringing one arm up in front of him, a crackling orb of bright energy gathered at Vaati's fingertips. With a wave of his hand, the orb shot down to the earth below where Hadrian was so conveniently placed and exploded. Identical spells were flung at Seyka and the ranting drunkard and even the goddamn dragon.
Where did they get a dragon from anyway?

[It seems that OOC I missed the part where it said Vaati landed in the center of the village and I thought he was on the edge. No wonder nothing made sense until I went back and read it all again. My apologies. User error ;P]
The flames hit and shot off his shield, some of which Seyka redirected at the Mage. The rest were caught in the horrible gales around Vaati but without a fuel source they quickly diminished into nothing. Scattered along the ground were small patches of grass still on fire but they were extinguished in the winds.
Even through all the action, he could still hear the yelling from the drunk man. Incessant whining; failing to contibute to the solution. Hadrian completely ignored him. If he wanted to cry, he could do it after this was over because if no actions were taken, the village would be destroyed either way. Stupid kids.
The only thing the drunk managed to do was distract Hadrian as an orb exploded right next to him. Like a ragdoll, he was thrown fifteen meters or so, crashing through a small but stout tree and rolling across the forest floor. As quickly as he was knocked down, he got up, shaking the pain off. For a fifty year old man, he was pretty durable. At this point, Vaati was now eye level with Night, attacking the mage meant the chance of hitting Night. Chalk it up to collateral damage? Eh, no.
Instead Hadrian stayed back, funneling some of the village's inhabitants out of the path of destruction. If something happened to the village, and chances were with a hurricane and a dragon in the mix, a tiny village didnt stand a chance.

They ignored him. They completely ignored him.
Then they fired magic at him.
The day had started off so well too! This was why Hulio hated city people, they always brought their drama to the forests and kept messing up the lives of others.
"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH MY VILLAGE!!!!" He roared as the flames kept going. Hopefully Seyka could rally the villagers to help put it out. In the mean time, Hulio needed to figure out how to defuse the situation. He also needed to deal with that energy gathering at Vaati's hands. He could sense the intent of a battle spell from a mile away with those odd senses of his and immediately he formulated a plan. He needed to disable the little prick as fast as possible, and have a way to keep his finger on the trigger so he wouldn't try anything funny. Thankfully, Hulio had a friend for that. In what would no doubt be the most awkward action to take at the moment, Hulio pulled at the waist of his jeans and reached into them. He didn't reach at his sides, nor even at his butt, his hands were right around his junk seeming to fiddle with something.
"Whereisitwhereisitwhereisit...." He hissed as he spent great energy doing what looked like fondling himself in the middle of a battle. He didn't need to look at Vaati, he could feel the blast fire off towards him. Suddenly getting a grip on something he let out a triumphant "AHA! RIGHT WHERE I LEFT IT!!" and began to run forward. Just as the blast would've clocked him right in the head, Hulio jumped forward and rolled, letting it soar past him and explode behind him safely. He completed his roll, staying on one knee now and immediately cried "EY, PENDEJO!? SAY 'ELLO TO MY HARD, LITTLE FRIEND!!!" whilst pulling something out of his pants.
It was honestly the scariest gun on the face of the earth. It seemed like a small skull at first when there was a ghoulish laugh in the air while the skull seemed to split apart and reassemble into a mammoth of a hand gun. Any bigger and it'd have to be called a cannon. With a skull on the end of it's barrel, the Boner looked like it was a marriage and subsequent abortion of 30 pounds of metal and bone beaten with the awesome-cool end of the scary stick. It's fearsome appearance was only enhanced further as the chamber of the gun suddenly whirred with energy, seeming to expand as it filled with something.
"My friend Johnson here wants to give you a present. A PEARL F*CKING NECKLACE!!!"
Hulio pulled the trigger thrice, and let the Boner scream at Vaati. His shots were aimed for the chest and head, especially the head. Accuracy wasn't going to be a problem either, and Vaati would no doubt feel incredibly disgusted as the Boner's sticky payload would bind to him and soak through both his cloths and mind. He would realize that he was in a world where people do bad things to other people and DIGNITY DID NOT EXIST. If the shots to the head could make it, he'd get a mouth full of junk straight in the face and as the air would bind the payload to his skin he'd no doubt find it hard to breath as the substance blocked his nose and mouth.
The shot itself wasn't too bad. It was what came after that would absolutely ruin Vaati's day. Hopefully Hulio's allies could capitalize on that, he'd have to use team work for this. He couldn't work with the old man, he was too stuck in his own world to care about anything else. He'd use the dragon. Perhaps if they could work together they could minimize the damage at least.
[OOC: Linked Hulio's Cut'N'Run ability to Nightmare, he now shares the Cut'N'Run passive with Hulio.]
