With Vaati having escape, they had to explain the situation to the villagers. While they weren't thrilled that not only had Vaati gotten away with murder, but with the macguffin and now he was going to cause serious damage. Needless to say, Nightmare had a rather nasty situation to fix. Well, when he got the time. Until then, he could start a few projects to give the Wind Mage a run for his money.
Nightmare accepted the money, though he noticed that there was more in his bag then there were the rest of them. Doing the math, he noticed that it would've been an even four-way split if each of them got 55. When Nightmare brought this up, the Minish told him they just wanted him to get the hell out, and just took it from the other two fighter's pockets in order to bribe him into never coming back.
Shrugging and not letting it bother him anymore, Nightmare left the village, already plotting on how to handle Vaati's now increased powers.
He was the Emperor.
He was the Dragon King.
He was the First and the Last.
He was the Beginning and the End.
He was the Alpha and the Omega.
And Vaati would be forced to deal with his horseshit.

Everything felt like it was spiraling into one big chaotic abstract painting. It didn't make sense but there was meaning behind it all. Seyka was both grateful and disappointed that Vaati managed to get away. Grateful, in the sense, that he would not be tearing up anymore of the forest than he already did. It was going to take a good while to return everything to the way it originally was. Even then, it wouldn't be entirely the same.
No, it would be far from the same ever again. Seyka was disappointed by his escape because it meant that left the possibility that he will return, probably not in the forest, per se, but no matter. He will return to bring forth more destruction. It was the beginning of the end for a storm seems to be brewing amidst the shadows of this event. It wasn't every day that an infamous villain comes out from the blue to obtain his powers back. There was an ulterior motive behind it, but that wasn't something for the cat girl to worry or the time being.
No matter. He must be stopped somehow either way.
Seyka protested when she received the money, but the village would not have her refuse. Submitting to their insistence, she accepted her gift, and bowed gratefully to the village. Placing her money into her bag, she noticed right away Nightmare left the village, and the others received their share of rewards.
A soft smile graced upon her lips glad to know that at least for now, the village could try to get their lives back together. She was sad, however, that amongst the chaos, one life had to be sacrificed all because of one Minish's evil desire for power. It was quite upsetting~
However Seyka couldn't find it in her heart to grieve in front of others. So with that said and done, she looked back over to the others, and bowed respectfully. With one final smile, she departed from the village, and scampered back to the forest. There was so much to do, and so little time~

Hadrian was unfamiliar with defeat, and just the thought pierced him to the core, aching his heart. His sense of pride and duty was the foundation for all his actions and when it failed, it shook him. But this wasn't the end, he knew it as he stared into Vaati's eyes right before he vanished. Hadrian would see him again eventually, or at least, the old man would see the Wind Mage's defeat.
It was hard to accept the villagers rewards but he could put it to good use. Money was hard to acquire when the Knights were a voluntary occupation and Hyrule didn't pay them. Most of Hadrian's income came from helping others with tasks. He reassured them that this mage was going to be defeated.
With that, Hadrian made his leave, quickly back into the forest heading back to Hyrule Castle.

Vaati and the warriors who had fought against him had left, taking their rewards and traveling off to new adventures. In the heavens above, a pair of soulless gray eyes watched the scene for just a few moments longer before disappearing… Rewards have been given. FIN
