Now Back to the Good Part (Titania)

Merik carefully walked to the bed and sat down, trying to disturb Titania as little as he could since she seemed to be in a relatively happy place. He hadn't really seen it coming, especially after their last meeting, but he was there for her tonight so as long as she was happy he was fine with it.

He was silent as he held her, gently stroking her hair, each just enjoying the other's presence for the moment.

It took him being gentle and stroking her hair to realize just who she was with. She snapped back to attention, whacking him in the back of his head with both her hands and pouted.

"What are you doing? If I wanted somebody who was a romantic and cuddly I wouldn't have asked you to come. You are Merik, scourge of the seas and leader of the toughest, most ruthless band of women alive." She was careful not to be too loud, although Merik probably controlled most of the people in town. She hopped out of his arms and stood in front of him.

"Please don't tell me that King Merik is really a big softy." She hopped over to one of the bed's posts and began to dance on it, much like a dancer in a less reputable bar. "Don't tell me you don't want any of this anymore." She winked at him and motioned him with her finger, telling him to come closer.

Merik chuckled at Titania's reaction as she bounced away from him.

"Women are fickle when it comes to things they like; I've seen the most battle-hardened women who want nothing more than someone to hold them and the most quiet reserved girl turn into an wild animal in the right circumstances." he replied as he grabbed her and yanked her back onto the bed with a laugh.

"I've learned to adapt based on what's needed for the situation, the problem here is that what you like one moment is not necessarily going to be the same the next moment." he finished before rolling her under him and catching her lips for a short kiss. "But I suppose we'll find exactly what works for tonight."

Titania gave out an "eep" as she was thrown down to the bed. Now they were getting somewhere.

"Well I do have varied tastes, but I think it's clear by now what I like." She caught the kiss and savored it while it existed. "I'm sure you and I can negotiate an agreement." She slipped a hand underneath his clothing, getting a good feel of the muscles on his chest. Excellent as always.

Merik pulled back for a moment to pull off his cloak and tunic before tossing them towards the chair.

"Well then, let the negotiations commence."

Titania smirked as he threw off his articles of clothing.

"Step one, you come here." She pulled him down towards her and commenced negotiating.
