She crawls into the window through shapes and shadows
So even the Monster Emperor had a sentimental side to him. A small earnest smile graced her lips as he accepted the fact that he was probably the last of his diminishing race. Midna felt a tinge of sympathy for his predicament as well finding it unfortunate that dragons have been dying out. Still, she found herself growing to like the dragon more, and more as time went by. Not because he was a dragon, but rather, who the dragon was. Deep down, there was no doubt about it that in the end, he really was a beast, but the beast inside was just the same as any other mortal being that exists in this world.
For the most part, Nightmare has treated her well throughout her stay in the Light Realm. For that she was grateful to him, and was actually starting to enjoy his company. It was almost saddening on her part to watch him leave. Alas, it was getting late, and it was time for her to retire. She had her fill of fun, and adventure for the evening, and if she prolonged her waking hours, then she'd probably end up seeing the light of morning. Wait... there wasn't any windows.
"Sweet dreams," she bid him goodnight. With a long exhausted yawn escaping her lips, she stretched a bit before prepping herself off to bed. It was certainly the end of the evening, but as for the rest of the encounters she'll be having with the emperor...
