She crawls into the window through shapes and shadows Night brought up a good point~ Who was looking like the winner now? Midna could be cute if she felt like it, but the golden haired dragon was another story. It would seem that she caught him off guard yet again with her charm. The blush that dusted his cheeks was absolutely endearing. He could be cute too, but it was perfectly unintentional, and it was such thought that brought up a lighthearted laughter from her dark lips. Carmine eyes danced with mirth over how much she was enjoying the reversal of circumstances that occurred.
Her though process took a whirl around a couple of times when he asked why did she find space romantic. Her smile broadened at his question before raising her lithe hand up to cup his cheek before sliding her palm grazing his skin gently, and through his golden locks until she tucked a couple strands behind his ear. Midna then lowered her hand down before flashing a wink.
"Think about it, if you think about space, and all of the worlds that lie out there somewhere... like ours, for example. Hyrule and the Twilight Realm... they're nothing compared to the bigger picture the universe is creating," she explained, "The way I see it, I find it romantic because space is also something you can share with another. Like how worlds share the sky~"
For the most part what she said was true. Although the Twilight Realm didn't share the exact same concept that Hyrule did as far as the sky goes, the sky was still there, and space wasn't nonexistent. Nonetheless it didn't change the fact that she still thought of the concept as romantic~ Space was anything, and everything all at the same time. It was vast, and lonely yet simultaneously, cluttered and filled with company.

One for the Dark Lord on his Dark Throne In the land of Mordor where the Shadows lie Things changed when she cupped his cheek. His gaze softened for a moment. He was surprised at just how soft her skin was. She brushed some of his hair out of the way, and he didn't fight it. It was as if for a moment, he got to see past the mischievous part of her, and that for a moment, he let his guard down completely. But he knew that wasn't right. If she ever tried to kill him, he'd have to be ready to react at the last second. But things were going well, what with being allies, they wouldn't want to hurt each other. Not to mention that they seemed to be bonding rather fast. It had to be the similar personalities. That's what he'd use to justify it. On instinct, his hand twitched, and Nightmare had to force it to stay still with willpower. He had the urge to reach up and grasp her hand, but before he could act on it, she lowered. It was odd, but Nightmare didn't even find that all that embarrassing. He blushed, yes, but it wasn't as embarrassing as it was... relaxing, or soothing. To be honest, he was a little disappointed that she pulled her hand away, he rather liked it. Though really, he probably shouldn't let her find that out, lest she start teasing him even more than she already was. But it did surprise him on just how sweet she was being. But, it was nice. At least she explained the reason for finding space romantic. He had to admit, she shared a really good point. Different worlds, even far away still shared the same sky. One sky, one destiny, that was how it went right? However, Nightmare wouldn't be able to think on that for long. The clashes of battle made themselves known again, and it was clear that they were getting closer to their position. Nightmare looked off into the distance in the direction the fighting was occurring. Two themes were clashing; pitch black nothingness and desert. So they were the ones fighting, were they? Nightmare looked back at Midna. "I'll leave it up to you." He was sure she would know what he meant. There wasn't any real danger, as there was more to the Emperors than met the eye. If she wanted to go check it out, he'd keep them from bothering her. If not, then he would take her out of the mirror.

One for the Dark Lord on his Dark Throne In the land of Mordor where the Shadows lie Nightmare was actually a little surprised that she didn't want to keep going. What with the world around them, he figured she would want to keep exploring. But if she didn't want to continue on and see just what was causing the fight, then there was no reason for them to keep going. He knew who was fighting, he knew how they fought. To him, it would be nothing new. He hoped that she wouldn't be considering going back in on her own later on when he wasn't looking. But maybe she wanted to leave out of boredom. or something else. Nightmare wasn't really quite sure, but he wouldn't complain. Flashing her a smile, Nightmare nodded. "As you wish~" He responded. There wasn't really any opening to a portal. No flashy signs to show that they could leave. Instead, Nightmare just simply took a few steps forward, grasping Midna's hand, and he just vanished into thin air. What he wouldn't really pick up though, was what he was doing subconsciously. He himself hadn't noticed it, but that squeeze from Midna had triggered a positive reaction, causing him to subconsciously lace his fingers with hers. They'd be back in Nightmare's room fairly quickly. The Emperor looked back to make sure that Lucien's face was gone, and sure enough, it was. Whatever he was doing now, it wasn't harassing the two of them, nor was it watching them. He figured Midna wouldn't exactly like to have that face staring at her all the time, especially while she slept. That would probably be creepy. He looked back at Midna. Not really feeling all that tired. Then again, this was his life, so maybe he was just used to this. "So what do you want to do now?" He offered.

She crawls into the window through shapes and shadows Midna was pretty positive that she would get her fill of seeing plenty of battles in the future. Especially those which would get her involved in one way or another~ For now, she decided it would be best to conclude their adventures through the looking glass, and move onto other things. To be completely honest, while it was the truth that she intended in finding just what exactly the mirror contained, and learning about it's origins, Midna didn't plan on it going about it the way she did. However she had to hand it to Night, he knew how to get himself involved one way or another.
It wasn't the first time someone's hold her hand before, but the attachment that came with holding his hand was foreign to the princess. It was warm, and gentle; something Nightmare didn't exactly exert at all to be perfectly honest. She could only guess that even dragons had a heart somewhere, and didn't breathe fire on villages, and eat cattle. Did that make him a carnivore? The Twilight Princess just could not see the blond as a vegetarian... It was so disturbing, she couldn't even picture him living just on greens.
Her attention was quickly pulled away from her thoughts when she heard Night's voice asking her what did she want to do now. Good question. She contemplated on going to sleep after poking her nose into the mirror but after that crazy adventure, she was way too wired up to be falling asleep. A soft smile escaped her lips as she unwrapped her hand from his and plopped onto the bed, sitting on the edge for a moment in thought. Her eyes glanced back over to him before tilting her head slightly to the side.
"Tell me something," she requested, patting one side of the bed, gesturing him to come join her, "Do you... and I'm probably going to sound crazy when I say this, but anywho~ Do you by chance get the feeling we've met before?"
Or was she the one going nuts?

One for the Dark Lord on his Dark Throne In the land of Mordor where the Shadows lie The Emperor really didn't feel much hesitation when the Twilight Princess invited him to join her on his bed. He mentally snickered at the thought of it, but brushed it aside as he casually waltzed on over and plopped himself down next to Midna. Seemed like she wasn't in the mood to sleep after her ordeal. He couldn't blame her. The very first time he went through the mirror, it was absolutely incredible, so it was only natural that she wouldn't want to sleep. He didn't mind it though, it gave them more time to talk and even get to know one another in some way. Nightmare looked at Midna, his face deadpanned into one of total seriousness. He was about to lay something heavy on her, something that would change their relationship forever. "Yes, we have actually. We met on a moonlit night at the lake." It was arguably one of the most ridiculous stares that he had given her. It seemed like that he was answering on a literal note that they had indeed run into each other before. Which was true if you thought about it. They first met at the lake, then the Drosslord, and they had come all the way to his tower, from which they had been nearly inseparable. He leaned back a little, staring at the wall, occasionally glancing back to the mirror, then looking back at Midna. "I can see why you'd think that though. Our personalities are frighteningly similar. It's like I'm talking to a gender-flipped version of myself." He confessed. He found it eerie just how similar they were. He was actually trying to find difference between the two, but off the top of his head, there was nothing that came to mind. He wondered if Midna felt that he was effectively a gender-flipped version of herself. But what could they talk about in the meantime... A light bulb turned on in Nightmare's head. She needed to know about the world in order to stick around in safety, right? Maybe she could tell her all about the leaders and what they did... and what their secrets were. "So, as you know, I'm not the only leader here, but I know most of them, and have dirt on them as well. Cuuuurious~?" He offered. Of course, he would have to make sure she didn't go blabbing. Or if she did, at least not say where it came from. But he wasn't too worried, after all, she was him when one thought about it?

She crawls into the window through shapes and shadows "Smart-ass," she snickered. Crossing her arms over her chest, she couldn't help but smile over her silly thoughts. He knew what she meant. Not exactly the answer she was looking for, but she mentally admitted to herself she probably worded that differently than what she intended. She should have expected that, but she had to let it go knowing it was an error on her part. No big deal really.
"Perhaps we had something special in another lifetime," she suggested as she released her crossed arms from her chest. To help emphasize her thought she raised one of her hands up in a simple gesture. It was weird to be on the same wavelength with another person, especially when that said someone was from a different dimension entirely. Like twins; being in sync but the reason behind it eluded her. It wasn't exactly a bad thing. After all, it was nice to have the feeling belonging, wasn't it? Midna couldn't help but wonder what exactly did they have now this time around...
However it would seem that the topic of conversation would take a different direction. As one was quickly concluded, another was quickly brought up. The princess couldn't help but smile actually entertained with what he's got to say. "Please, do tell," she took the bait. "Just what exactly do you have on other leaders?"
This ought to be good~

One for the Dark Lord on his Dark Throne In the land of Mordor where the Shadows lie The idea of meeting in another life sounded nice. Maybe even a bit romantic. If they had been together in previous lives or something, would that mean this one would turn out the same? Nightmare wasted no time in brushing aside such thoughts. As much as the idea of reincarnation pleased him, it wasn't something that he wanted to deal with just yet. He still had his own life to live and his own things to do. His own goals and his own people that he needed to meet. Nevertheless, the fact that Midna was thinking about things did cause a bit of a smile to appear on his features. But what he was really happy for was that she had in fact, agreed to hear some dirt about the leaders, and he had plenty to give. Oh yes, if he was going to be the most despised man in Hyrule, maybe he would get the right to sling a little mud right back at them. But who first, who would he go over first? He wouldn't go over Rwaht, he actually liked the guy. Not to mention if he had been keeping up, things were going very well between him and Aerith. Good for them. For Aerith's sake, he'd leave the Praetor alone and focus on someone else. There were just so many to choose from, so many leaders to take potshots at! He had one! Nightmare grinned. He knew exactly who to tell her about. "Well first, you should keep an eye out for the Fairy Queen, Titania." He remarked. He knew about Titania, and fortunately for him, unlike most people, he was smart enough to not get seduced by the Fairy Queen. "You see, she gets... friendly. Very friendly. She also has no real preference I think, so if she ever catches you in your true form outside of battle, she may very well try something~" He let her know. Titania's escapades really weren't much of a secret. Most nobles she scored with, and even other leaders tended to brag about it. Let them get manipulated, Nightmare knew better.

One for the Dark Lord on his Dark Throne In the land of Mordor where the Shadows lie "Yep. And I'm sure she'd love to get a hold of you." He snickered, he was glad she at least decided to listen to the advice. Though it wasn't completely half assed. He wouldn't deny that Midna was really something, something that Titania would dive on the first chance she got. The last thing he needed, or even wanted, was the Fairy Queen getting the Twilight Princess alone and scarring her for life. Then again, it probably wouldn't even come to that. If Midna could just dissolve again like she showed at the lake, then the moment Titania got a hold of her, she could probably just poof her way out of the situation. But who next? Well, that wouldn't take long. Most people always had something to say about their neighbors, and for Nightmare, that would be Merik. Nightmare had always shared the desert with him, but the truth was, he felt that it would eventually fall under one of them completely. The Emperor was just waiting for Merik to try and backstab him. "Next up is Merik Dragmire." He declared. "He's the Gerudo King. The Gerudo are unique that aside from once a century, they only give birth to females. It's rather odd." Nightmare admitted. He never really did figure out how that worked. Was it a curse or something that the sand people had just managed to get hit with? Though really, Midna needed to know about this one. "You ever met that guy who acts like he's on top of the world, knows everything? That would be Merik. Though in truth he's... not that hard for me to handle. I've got no problems really circling around him." Though in truth, he wasn't just the Gerudo King now that he thought about it. "He's also the Pirate King. He's not very popular with Hyrule right now either, as you can imagine." He remarked. Though really, Merik brought it on himself. Declaring yourself the lord of a bunch of pirates, who the world hated because they regularly broke the law, wasn't a good way to win love from the rest of Hyrule. To Nightmare, Merik was digging his own grave.

She crawls into the window through shapes and shadows "So, the dude pimps not only amazons, but pirates alike too?" she asked. That part was a joke, but it got one thinking~ The princess never got the pleasure of meeting the man to be honest, but then again there were plenty of leaders out there that she has yet to meet. She couldn't help but wonder exactly how many leaders existed out there. Nightmare was going on a tangent, but it amused Midna quite so~ She didn't realize how loquacious the man could be when you get him going. "If you think about it, you guys have one thing in common, he's not the only one Hyrule dislikes."
Like she had room to talk as well. Now Hyrule was putting the streak of dislike on the Twili as well. Though she didn't want to think about that at the moment. Then again she had to remember Hyrule always had to point the finger at the strange people first. If it wasn't normal then it disrupted the balance of peace, and when that happens, everything is thrown into chaos. Problems stack up, and solutions tended to be a once every few. If that wasn't the case then the suggested solution would bring up more problems, and everyone will eventually be deduced to hating everyone, and everybody.
Quite a vicious cycle really.

One for the Dark Lord on his Dark Throne In the land of Mordor where the Shadows lie Nightmare shuddered when Midna told him how similar he and Merik were. That... was not a pleasant experience for him. He really didn't want to end up thinking on something like that they might indeed be similar. To him, no. Just no. Eventually, Nightmare took a deep breath and regained his composure. Just like that, he was back to normal and now he could carry on. But he smiled, at least she seemed to be having fun listening to him. Not to mention that these were things that she could actually use, actually look out for. "If he ever tries anything political with you, come to me first. And never go into his fortress. Just don't." He remarked with a chuckle about the fortress. But of course, he had yet to reach the apex of it all. He had another before he hit the gold. The one who had apparently been causing problems. "Let me tell you a bit more about Hadrian." He told her. She already knew about this guy, he was the one that had saved Vaati and nearly gotten the entire village incinerated. What she didn't know was that thanks to a certain dragon minish hybrid tipping him off, he now knew what else that Hadrian had been up to, and it wasn't really all that pretty. "Turns out during our event, there were other monsters." He began. He looked at her with a smirk. This was going to be good. The best part was that it wasn't even his problem, he had no part. Hadrian could've passed the first one off as "monster garbage endangering everyone" or some kind of bullshit, but this time, he had absolutely nothing to save him. "The capital of Hyrule was attacked, and it took a wanted criminal to save said capital. Hadrian was there and what was he doing? Posing dramatically." He explained to her, flexing in an over the top manner.

One for the Dark Lord on his Dark Throne In the land of Mordor where the Shadows lie So apparently she did find his flexing hilarious, as she started roaring in laughter, even crying from the actions. He grinned, he was glad that she was enjoying this just as much as he was. Just some time to blow off some steam, take a few potshots, and have a good time. Though he couldn't blame her for asking if it was serious. "Completely. I know, I found it hard to believe too." It took said criminal actually appearing and getting everything validated before he actually believed it. It was just way too good to be true, but it was. He now had a bunch of dirt on the Hylian Knights. But still, even that wasn't everyone. He still had one more to bash, one more to take a massive potshot against. The one he felt deserved it more than anyone else. "The next one... is Azler Wilder." He said the name with an obvious tone of venom. It was clear that he didn't like the Knight Commander. But why? What in the world could he possibly have against Zelda's second in command? Wouldn't that be even wierder? Nightmare was actually on extremely good terms with Zelda herself, and the two were at least friends. So what could Azler possibly have done to earn the Emperor's ire? He rolled his eyes, but composed himself. "Whatever you do, don't bother with Azler. He's that knight that tries to act all holy, but then pretty much does the exact opposite. It's disgusting. Hell, the entire reason the Ainur can't work things out with Hyrule is because this jackass won't let us attend any of the meetings to fix everything." He grumbled. Azler was a hindrance to Nightmare's wish to bring the whole fighting to an end. To the Emperor, he had every right in the world to hate the Knight Commander.

She crawls into the window through shapes and shadows Midna couldn't hold in her giggles. Her stomach began to ache never really laughing that much before... probably since the last time she laughed at Night. Only this time around she was enjoying the entertainment, rather than entertaining herself picking on him. Think we all can agree its was better laughing together rather than getting laughed at~
Though the icing on the cake has yet to be placed. Nightmare had one more potshot that would top the rest off to finish the venom that the blond apparently had for someone in particular. Once again, never had the pleasure of meeting him, but sounded like someone she had to keep in mind. "That's a shame," she mused. To be quite honest, it was more along the lines of pathetic than anything else. Wouldn't it be better if they all tried getting along to solve their differences without it resorting to violence? Apparently, that didn't seem to be the case.
Some people just liked to make things difficult. It was the reason why searching for the Fused Shadow took longer than expected. This should have been a simple easy come, and easy go mission. Midna didn't expect it to take this long to search for the artifact, and get involved in the Light Realm's affairs. There were still some things left to be done, but she suppose the only thing she could do was bare with the circumstances now. All good things comes to those who wait~
"Seems it can't be as simple as wanting to get along with everyone," she hummed. Though it did bring up a thought or two that she never thought about before~ What if she got the Fused Shadow? With her ancestor's power back within her hands, she didn't see any other reason why should she remain here within the Light Realm. Would it be wise to go back home? For some reason, it just didn't sit well within her, but then again she had to think what was best for her people. Apart of her felt that there was more to being here rather than for a personal mission. However she couldn't just let go of what was in front of her here.

One for the Dark Lord on his Dark Throne In the land of Mordor where the Shadows lie He did however, notice that he might have been giving the idea that literally every single one of the higher ups in the land were just awful. This wasn't true at all. There were diamonds in the rough, and though one had to go through a lot of crap to get them, they did in fact exist. "Though I need to be fair. Not all the leaders of the Light Realm are bad." He admitted to her. Yes, they were rare, but they did exist. He personally knew two of them. While most of the others were blatant jerkasses, with the rest being completely incompetent at their job, but still good natured, there were those that were just good. He laid down on the bed, surprised at how it felt. Nightmare had spent so long sleeping in his treasury that he had forgotten what a real bed felt like. There were two that he would be able to trust. "Rwaht Orin's one of them. He's the Praetor of the Hybrids. I haven't had much time to get to know him, but he's getting close with a friend of mine, so I'm bound to get to know him. Though if she likes him, then he must be a good guy." He remarked. Yeah, he was. Granted, from what he had heard, Rwaht was just a little Templar crazy, but he figured everyone had their quirk. The other was none other than the Princess Zelda, who unbeknownst to Nightmare, Midna was actually supposed to be meeting and allying with. He wasn't aware that he was in fact, hindering that and that Midna had pretty much joined up with the opposite. "The other is a close friend of mine. Ironic in that despite the fact her own subjects despise me, she's one of the few people I can genuinely call friend." He chuckled. Zelda never really had problems with him from what he knew. And he had actually known Zelda since his time in the academy. Then again, Zelda had never really learned that said friend had become the Emperor. "You've probably heard of her. It's none other than the famed Princess Zelda." He snickered. Rising from his bed though, he kind of slumped. "Me though? Well, I'm the big bad dragon." He morbidly joked.

She crawls into the window through shapes and shadows There in lies the beauty of being a leader. Political affairs tended to be biased in every aspect you could think of. However that doesn't mean that all leaders were evil corrupted people in this realm. Midna understood that concept quite well, but Nightmare made a point that they're not at all easy to find. After all, we're all mortal, and we tended to make more errors in life than any other living thing in this vast existing world. Midna didn't hasn't had the chance to meet all of the lovely leaders of this world, but she made a note that she'll get the chance eventually. There was time to spare so long as everything stayed the way it was for a little longer.
When he plopped his back down against the bed, Midna smiled softly, extending her hand out to play with his sunlight locks. Yes, she was listening carefully, but she amused herself with messing with his hair leaving himself vulnerable to her gentle attacks. Though she was taken off guard with the concept of hybrids. An eyebrow quirked up actually interested in this actually. "Interspecies is common here?" she asked in a rather out of character tone, almost as if asking something out of naïvety. She learned something new everyday, what do you know~
Not only do they have hybrids but there's a leader for them as well. From what she heard as well, it would seem that the hyrbids have a pretty good leader taking care of them. Good for them~ Midna twirled her finger around a few of his blond strands amusing herself, but a little curious if he'd mention anything about her playful notions.
Princess Zelda! That's right... Midna blinked a few times actually surprised that Nightmare knew the princess. Though she could only suppose that the Hylian Princess certainly must know of every leader around. If she was as wise as they describe her to be then perhaps it would be best to make her meeting with the princess as soon as possible. She may know about the origins of the Fused Shadow, and how to bring back normality to both her world, and this world. "Perhaps she be of assistance too..." she murmured mostly to herself. Carmine eyes danced at Night's joke as she snickered. "Your big, and bad alright but not exactly evil per say... at least you're not exactly what I could consider evil."

One for the Dark Lord on his Dark Throne In the land of Mordor where the Shadows lie Flopping back down, Nightmare stared at the ceiling, with Midna doing something rather strange. He glanced at her for a moment before he felt a soft sensation in his hair. Midna's actions got one response from Nightmare; he murred, clearly enjoying having his hair played with. Nightmare nodded at her question, not even bothering her with an odd look. "For the most part. The Gerudo can't hybrid, but the rest of the races can." He explained. He wouldn't give her examples of some of the monsters here. He knew about the abundance of half orcs in the land of Hyrule, and it was one of those things that tended to make him look bad, considering how the majority of those half orcs were born. Nevertheless, he wouldn't care about it right now. He knew that he couldn't really hide it, as it must've seemed obvious at this point, but he was enjoying her playing with his hair. Really, Midna might not have been getting the reaction she was hoping for. Ever since he was a kid, Nightmare always loved it when someone stroked his hair, and this was no different. It wasn't one of those crippling things that disabled him whenever someone did it, but he tried to enjoy it whenever he could. Unless it was creepy. It could be really creepy sometimes, and that was when he fought against it. Right now though? It was nice. It was relaxing, and in truth, he really didn't want the Twilight Princess to stop. He wouldn't vocalize it, but he really didn't have any problem letting her know he liked it in his own way. Closing his eyes, Nightmare decided to respond back. "That's because you're sane." He complimented. People got so worked up simply because he was a dragon, and some people even considered him the last dragon, failing to realize one of his own Vanguards was a dragon, and that they still existed, but were rare. "Here, dragons are considered two things. The first is a symbol of terror that devours young maidens, sleeps on treasure, and destroys towns if robbed." That was the first. "I'll admit... I don't help get rid of that. I don't devour maidens, but I do sleep in my treasury and I get pissed if I get robbed." He snarked at her, but just what was the second symbol. "The second is that some see dragons as beautiful, powerful, and majestic creatures that are far and few. But those usually get run out for it." They were usually seen as nuts, cultists, and even outcasts. The majority, he knew from overhearing, would sometimes push Zelda just to start a crusade to wipe the last of them out.

She crawls into the window through shapes and shadows From this angle, she couldn't help but smile on how endearing it looked to see Nightmare so comfortable. It was like watching a kitten curling up into a ball getting ready to fall asleep within your lap. A rather odd thing to way to describe it, but it was the only thing that popped into her brain when she heard him murring. Then again, she could think of it like scratching a dog's belly, and watching it's hind leg spazz out. However it didn't catch the same feeling as a baby kitten gives when you watch it go to sleep~ Midna was highly amused on how much he really liked his hair being played with.
So it was sane to think he wasn't an entity of evil? She was a little worried if that was sane then what would it be like when an actual epitome of evil shows up, and scares the living daylights out of the light-dwellers. "That's a shame," she mused softly, "I like the second description better~" To think, she had a dragon enjoying his hair being stroked by her lithe hands. Her carmine eyes flickered with mirth establishing that they've found a comfort zone between one another. Though she did take into account how much time had past since the start of her little adventure through the looking glass.
It was getting late, and eventually both of them would end up passing out. Still, she had to admit that through this conversation, she felt like she's made a stronger bond with him. In a sense, it was a nice thought to think about, but perhaps it could be a scary thing too. She was growing close to a beast, and that in turn could pose some trouble. Was this really a smart thing to do? Midna wouldn't worry about that now. Yes, it did worry her that people would start throwing the guilt by association, but it was a choice she made of her own free will. Should trouble follow her path then let it be that she'd won't let anyone get away if they slander her name, or her people.
"Dragons also appear to be very proud, and glorious creatures as well," she indirectly complimented Night.

One for the Dark Lord on his Dark Throne In the land of Mordor where the Shadows lie Not bothering to move, he smiled when she agreed that the second portrayal was better. "I like that portrayal as well. It shows us for what we really are." Throughout the years, dragons always got such a bad rap for what they could do. Yes, there were a few bad apples that ended up causing chaos, but that was always their immense power going to their head. He hated though that just a couple could stain the entire race. Though, a couple might have meant a lot. It was a well known fact that dragons were incredibly rare, and that seeing one was a once in a lifetime thing. It was because there were so few left. In a way, it was sad to know that he was one of the last dragons. His eyes took on a look of sadness. "We're one of the oldest beasts. Whereas the other Ainur and even the other races have evolved and changed over time, we have mostly stayed the same. We've been around since the beginning. Unfortunately, we've been dying out for centuries. I'd be surprised if we numbered 20. But that's another story for another time." He murmured in a sorrowful tone. At this point, he was fairly certain that there was no way for the dragons to make a comeback, not in a pure blooded state that dragons prided so much. If the dragons were to survive, they would have to start changing with the times, and start mixing their blood with others. It was their only chance. Rising up, he removed his head from Midna's grasp, mentally regretting that immediately. But she was probably tired from everything. "Thanks, I appreciated the talk." He thanked her for her time. He removed himself from his former bed. "I hope you enjoy your stay here." He smiled as he started to walk away, and removed himself from the scene. But, he didn't miss her compliment, and that was something that he liked to hear. Was he really as proud and as glorious as she proclaimed? It didn't matter. It was still nice to know someone thought so.
