Message in a Bottle (Merik's mail)

A mystery that Merik has yet to solve is how it is that he gets mail. From time to time people feel the need to write him and no matter how they send the letter it winds up sealed inside a bottle to be found by himself or someone who can hand it off to him (in the past bottles have turned up in the ocean alongside the Defiant, onboard the Defiant, sticking out of a sand dune near the Gerudo Fortress, and one time half buried in the sand next to the King's head when he was wandering in the desert).

So feel free to send him mail, he's very curious about how the messages keep reaching him and the only way he might ever find out is if the mail keeps coming.

To the exalted King of the Gerudo,

I am a traveler who has recently come across a rare item. It's name is well-known to many, but it doesn't reveal itself to just anyone. I thought perhaps you would be interested in acquiring such a precious treasure. As a king, you obviously have a vast collection of rare treasures but this one is most beautiful. If you have any interest, come to Westport. I have settled there for the time being at the inn where few words are spoken. You must come alone, or the treasure will be lost to you.I'm sure we can work out a deal that benefits us both.
