One More Magic Potion (Open)

[titania]

Titania waltzed into the bar, content with another day of gallivanting. Helping out people as a happy little troublemaker was a perfect concoction that suited her very much. Speaking of concoctions, she sat herself at the bar and smiled at the barkeep.

"One ale. Pint. It's been a long day, and I need a magic potion." She leaned on the bar, eyes circling the room, perhaps looking for yet another male conquest. She'd earned herself one, or so she thought. Maybe she should get herself a side job as a dancer. That might be fun. Something to consider at the very least.

[Seayn]

Seayn trudged into the tavern, his head hanging as his feet slowly shuffled across the wooden floor. He lifted his head only for a moment to plot a course across the room. He slowly moved across the area, sitting down at the bar, propping his head up with one hand. "I'll take a mug of anything." He muttered, glancing at the bartender. He shook his head, obviously thinking about something. He tilted his head a little, to get a better view of the room. The young man had many things to do and he felt rather overwhelmed. Dangerous times were unfolding. He felt helpless so far, he had to be able to help in some way didn't he?

Seayn couldn't see anything very interesting. There was a moderately strange woman nearby, yet everyone else seemed like they belonged here. He let out a heavy yawn, it was doubtful that he was going to get anything done tonight, yet hadn't he done enough for a while. He leaned back in his chair, staring at the ceiling.

Titania heard Seayn trudge into the bar before seeing him. He just looked so sad, it almost broke Titania's big heart. He was clearly in thought or in pain. As he sat down at the bar and ordered his anything, she walked over to him with her mug and sat down next to him, smiling and looking at his face. She patted him on the back and nodded her head.

"Be careful man. When you order anything, the barkeep will hand you something expensive. It's a big rip-off. Just a lesson to learn. Anyways, what's wrong? You can talk to me about it, I'm Titania. It's nice to meet you." She looked in his eyes, concerned he was headed down a brutal path, one that she'd seen happen far too often.

[Seayn]

Seayn looked up at the mysterious woman as she made her way over to him, taking a seat close. She was rather pretty, which was something that didn't even register in the young man's thoughts at the moment. He could only wonder why she had decided to converse with him. He halfheartedly grinned at Titania, nodding at her. "Hopefully the anything he brings me will be strong. I'd rather not be able to create proper thoughts at the moment." He glanced down at his wallet of rupees, hanging from his belt at his waist. Seayn had decided against wearing his battle regalia in the middle of forgetting everything for a while.

"Eh, mostly just a lot of responsibility. Times are growing grim and I'm not so sure about how to handle everything. I never imagined that I would have to be much of a diplomat before." Seayn shrugged, taking hold of the mug that had been delivered to him, taking a firm swig. He glanced at Titania, feeling a bit more relaxed. "I forgot to introduce myself. I am Seayn. It's a pleasure to meet you." The young man offered his hand to the fairy, his gaze looking her over for a moment.

Titania twitched at the mentioning of his name, which took precedence over everything else. She mentally cursed herself for not recognizing him, but every description had him in his battle regalia. However, she shook his hand, laughing as she took a drink with her other hand.

"Oh, so you're Seayn. I've been briefed on you. Phina's told me about you in part, although she put a lot of focus on your armor, so I didn't recognize. A pleasure to meet you." The fact that he took a look over her wasn't lost on the fairy, and she put a devious smile on her face. He wasn't the best-looking guy she ever saw, but he had a certain mystique about him. Or maybe she was just feeling bad because he seemed so depressed.

Titania held up the drink she had, devious smile still attached to her face. "So, Seayn, let's be diplomatic. How are the humans faring? I'd not seen much of this despair and hardship. Sure, there's been some monster sightings, but they come out every so often, and the knights push them back as always." She took another big swig of her ale. She thought the people were being scared over nothing. It's not like Nightmare was stealing treasure troves from the castle after all.

[Seayn]

Seayn arched his eyebrow, almost as if questioning how she knew his name yet he said nothing. He knew that he was better recognized with his armor on, yet he didn't really expect anyone to care who he was. Phina... that must mean Seraphina. He had met her briefly to discuss their problems and their solutions. Unfortunately, Seayn hadn't really taken time to hear the descriptions of the leaders of the other races, so he was oblivious as to who Titania was or her important position. He hadn't been expecting a meeting between himself and another person before he had taken a day off.

"It's not anything human specific. There have been a number of monsters reported attacking recently. Large eyes that float, some kind of conglomeration of iron and other materials, a gigantic man in armor, etc. The City in the Sky lost a rather substantial piece of itself, the humans are ill-prepared to do anything as a race as of yet and there's plenty of work to be done... Honestly I just don't know if I actually up to take a governing role." Seayn said, drawn out of his bad mood by the company of another living being. He took another drink from his mug before shaking his head. He tried to discreetly take in her features, wondering why this woman would know Seraphina Herodor or himself... Quite interesting.

Titania nodded her head, aware of monster sightings, and fighting in one herself.

"Seayn, you're a human gentry. Worry about the human's problems, and let the other races handle theirs. Trust me, there are races much worse off than your own, like the Oocca. You need to get the humans prepared before that something happens so that there won't be any trouble once the fun starts." She gulped the last of her pint and glared at the bartender angrily.

"My good sir, you call that a pint? More!" She was feeling the effects as they settled in, her smaller frame not being conducive to heavy drinking. However, she wanted Seayn to feel better, and she had her ideas for him once she had a couple more drinks.

She returned her attention to Seayn once she got her second pint. "Anyway, your focus should be the humans. They need you more than you know. Other races caan look after themselves perfectly well."

[Seayn]

"I'm trying to help the human race get prepared, but I'm not sure that this is something that any one race can handle by itself while if we all stand together, I don't think there is anyone that can stop us." Seayn said, speaking his cheesy part. He ran a hand through his hair, watching Titania's slightly drunk antics. He chuckled, shaking his head. Of course, he wasn't one to get outdone by anyone if he could help it, let alone a woman! He downed the rest of his mug, "I'll take another one as well."

Seayn watched Titania, pondering what her race was. The way she spoke of humans made it seem as if she didn't share that characteristic with him. "I don't know... I've seen heard rumors of some of the other leaders and I think they might be woefully unprepared. That's just my opinion though." He shrugged, grabbing his mug, chugging nearly half of it before setting it back upon the bar. He shook his head, taking a glimpse into the depths of his mug as he wondered what might be in it.

Apparently this was turning into a drinking contest. Titania was never a competitive one, but she'd bite. It might be fun. She chugged down her mug quickly, now reaching a point where he was a bit tipsy.

"Look, Seayn, I know the humans are a strong race. Their flexibility is unmatched by any other. But...but I will let you know, that the leaders of other races are perfectly prepared to deal with any problems that may arise. Barkeep, another!" She lost her focus for a moment by yelling for another ale, but she quickly returned to form. Kind of.

"The only one that may have some trouble is the Oocca. With the leadership change and the fact that half the city just went ka-splat, I think they could use a little help. But the Hylians and the Fairies are all over that right right now." As she received her next ale, sh grabbed for it and took a healthy swig, then smiled deviously again, looking over Seayn with a dirty motive.

[Seayn]

Seayn grimaced, seeing that this had now become an officially unofficial competition. The young human was determined to win too. He swallowed the rest of what was contained in his mug with one gulp, bringing tears to his eyes as it stretched his esophagus. He shook his head, waving his hand for the bartender to bring another one. He scratched the side of his chin, examining Titania. She was small, she couldn't handle as much alcohol as him... could she? "I know that and the humans do come first and foremost to me but I don't think that I should have to stop helping people of other races to do that."

Seayn began to chug his current mug, determined to gain the lead. As such, his eyes were in the cup when deviously smiled at and looked over. He let out a heavy breath, putting his now empty cup back down. He beckoned for another one, starting to feel a bit foggy yet he was sure that he could handle these drinks for quite some time. The fae? Interesting that she would mention those. Perhaps that indicated her race more than anything else. "Well, we're looking to solidify alliances with any race willing, yet I suppose helping the Oocca couldn't hurt, as long as it didn't inter...interfere with my duties."

Titania was getting to the point where her emotions were taking over. She finished the mug she had just been given and stood up before taking Seayn by the collar and giving him a cold, devious stare.

"Just how far are you willing to go to solidify alliances with other races?" she slurred before her wings extended out, revealing her fairy nature. She pulled him close and began to whisper in his ear. "I have a secret for you, meet me upstairs in 5 minutes." She made a motion to the bartender, who nodded and pointed upstairs. Titania wasn't exactly walking straight, but it wasn't quite the stagger a drunk would have.

[Seayn]

Seayn froze for a moment, staring in confusion into Titania's eyes. He was working his mouth to try to find a reply when her wings unfurled, further taking his ability to formulate a sentence away. A secret, what could that be? The young man turned to look at the bartender as the fairy queen walked away. He was quite willing to do almost anything to help build alliances but he wasn't quite sure what Titania would want from him. He turned on his chair, grabbing the mug firmly in his hand, sipping slowly as his five minutes passed.

Seayn finished his drink before standing. He didn't walk a straight line but he was much steadier than Titania had been. It only now occurred to the young man that he knew he was supposed to go upstairs, yet after that he had no clue of what was expected of him. He stopped at the top of the stairs, eyes searching for a hint as to what to do next.

Titania knew to walk into the room once Seayn caught a glimpse of her. Despite the fact that she was near-drunk, she knew that he was going to need assistance to find her, so she waited before walking it, then instinctively casting light to create a lit room for Seayn to go to. It was a considerably wobbly light, but it functioned fine.

She laid down on the bed, dreaming about her night with a human gentry before he walked into the room.

Seayn saw Titania, standing there in the middle of the corridor before walking into a room. He could only imagine what she had to say in there that she wouldn't bother to say to him downstairs. He tried to gather his wits as he slowly moved down the hallway before turning into the room. There was light, although it seemed rather unstable and the source seemed to be ethereal.

Seayn froze in the doorway, his eyes widening in shock as he saw Titania laying upon the bed. "You weren't going to tell me a secret at all." He said, finally catching on to the subtle hints that he had been given. He glanced around the area, looking for a way to make a quick escape, completely forgetting about the door behind himself.

Titania laughed as she got out of the bed and walked up to him, smiling at him. "Not entirely true, my good man. I was amazed Phina never briefed you on me, since some leaders consider me somewhat of a threat. Name's Titania, and I'm the queen of the fairies." Now that the cat was out of the bag, perhaps Seayn would be a bit more reasonable. If not, there was always some more ale on hand. For a couple of important members of society, the bar would have all the drink they need.

"Now then, now then, something tells me you aren't completely satisfied with this little arrangement. He put her arms around him and leaned on him for a little support, obviously an over-exaggeration of her inebriation. "But, m'good man, this is a diplomatic meeting now. So I need you to be comfortable. Shall I order some more ale for us, or should I ask a bard to come in and play soothing music?" She laughed at her own joke before releasing him and sitting on the bed, looking up at the gentry with longing eyes, still buzzed, but ready for more.

[Seayn]

Seayn shook his head, gulping as he prepared to speak to the seductress. "Seraphina is a busy woman, what with managing the human race, building mountain laboratories, and other things. She didn't exactly have time to give me a complete description of all of the leaders." He didn't mention the part about not remembering most of the descriptions anyway. He had always imagined that they would just be immediately recognizable, their appearance being more noble, commanding, yet Titania seemed like a regular person... up until the wings, the drinking contest, and the attempt to bed him. Weren't men usually supposed to be the ones that were overly... enthusiastic?

Seayn tensed, keeping his hands behind his back as the fairy wrapped her arms around his neck. "Errr, I plan upon keeping my virtue until there is a woman that shall stay by me. I get the feeling that this is more of a on occasion thing. No disrespect intended." He straightened his back a little bit, trying to look less like a helplessly confused young man and more like the human gentry that he was. Seayn now yearned for his armor, feeling that most of this would have been averted if he had been in such a shell.

Titania released him as his comments literally caused her to fall on the floor laughing. Normally it wasn't that funny, maybe a bit humorous, but in her state she was unbalanced and she simply fell over. When she was finished she simply lay there, giggling.

"Seayn, let me tell you something. Love, love is virtuous. You'll find a woman to love someday. Whether or not you've been to bed previously with another woman, that is not a measure of virtue Seayn." She could tell he was nervous. She thought to manipulate him to bed through underhanded means, but even if she got what she wanted, she'd feel bad about playing with his emotions. Alcohol would suffice, that was completely different.

She slowly found her way to her feet. Keeping herself steady, she put an arm around him and smiled. "Are you sure? An opportunity like this doesn't always come around. It's a golden opportunity Seayn." She wasn't too manipulative, she wasn't going to toy with his emotions, or guilt him into it like she probably could. But an offer like this was one most men would jump on, literally.

[Seayn]

Seayn frowned, feeling as if he was being mocked for comparing virginity to virtue. He rubbed his arm, shuffling his feet for a moment as he prepared his thoughts. "It simply doesn't seem honorable to do something, something so.... intimate with someone that I have only met, especially since it seems to be for solely pleasurable reasons." He could feel his gut twisting the haze of alcohol clouding his mind as he attempted to keep his mind on this, rather than his full bladder that was demanding to be relieved.

Seayn nearly flinched when Titania put her arm around him, feeling very out of place. "It's nothing that reflects upon you, I'm just an old-fashion human. It's not proper to do such things, even though most people indulge now a days. I plan on doing this for the first time with a woman that I love, not because I... I... have an intolerable amount of lust." The young knight said, glancing down at himself to make sure that he was proper. It was difficult, being drunk and resisting advances from fairy queens and what not.

"Awwwwww." Titania, especially in her state of mind, thought he was being absolutely adorable. However, being adorable did not help cure one's sex drive. She removed her arm from his shoulder and instead took his hands in hers. "Then how about a dance? Something to just get the blood flowing." She, of course, in her state, was not going to dance exceptionally well. However, it mattered not how well she danced. She wanted human contact in a personal setting right now. Whether or not he would come around to her side would be determined later.

Seayn blinked for a moment, his eyes locked upon Titania. Could she this be an innuendo as well? The human gentry would just have to take her at her word. "I would be privileged to dance with you, Titania." The young man approached, offering her his hand. He wasn't exactly the best of dancers but he was passable at slow dancing. He could only hope that she wouldn't try something more personal once the movements had gotten her blood pumping more intensely. He could only hope that he wouldn't be compelled to try something once his blood started pumping as well.
