Recovering [Finished]

[Animus]

Being as sarcastic as he could be, Titania still felt the need to be humorous and pulled out an arrow. She strung it to her bow and launched it into the side of Animus. At first, he was a little bit shocked but when he realized it was a healing arrow, everything was good. The Fairy then pulled it out and giggled. It was good to see that she was also trying to make the best of their time in the small room. The Hylian got out of the bed, more smoothly then he had before, and stretched.

"I'm a bit thirsty," he said looking at Titania. "I will go get us some more refreshments." The Hylian finished saying as he walked out the door and into the main part of the inn. Looking around he noticed that the innkeeper was not behind his counter. Animus assumed he had went to sleep, seeing how it was the middle of the night. Shrugging, he walked over to the food counter and gathered up a few things to eat, as well as to drink.

"I wasn't sure what you wanted so I got a few of each." He said as he walked back into the room, sat the refreshments down, and grabbed one of the drinks. Turning it up, he downed it in a matter of seconds and threw it into the little trash can nearby. Feeling satisfied, he crawled back into the bed to continue healing.

Titania was about to object when Animus just up and left the room. When he got back, she was standing there, arms crossed, disappointed look on her face.

"I told you not to leave the bed Animus. You need to continue to heal, and you can't just walk out of my inn room shirtless." At this point her tone changed from serious to sarcastic. "People will talk you know." She herself picked up a drink and began to drink, laughing at the situation.

"Honestly though, if you didn't feel anything from that little escapade you could probably leave, I would recommend not joining the Knights right away though, they work you hard in your training."

[Animus]

Animus also laughed at what Titania had to say but more importantly he was recovering at a rapid rate.

The Hylian nodded, he knew if he immediately went and tried to join the Knights he wouldn't be able to show his full potential and that alone would ruin everything. Animus looked at his wounds and then to the Fairy.

"I could leave now but then what? I still need to recover until I am at one hundred percent." He said still looking at Titania. Animus was just glad that he was still alive. If it wasn't for the Fairy he would have easily died on the street that day.

Titania smiled, glad he wasn't going to try anything rash. Continuing to rest was indeed his best option, even if she was willing to set him loose. She sat back down on the chair and looked back at the sandy man, glad that he was becoming more and more at peace.

"Good man. Give the commanders my regards when you see them. Tell Azler it's been too long, we should get together again sometime. I'd visit myself, but you'll probably see him before I do. This is probably my last task before I go back home and get scolded again." She laughed yet again. Getting scolded was nothing new, but it was getting boring listening to the same speech over and over again.

[Animus]

"Good man. Give the commanders my regards when you see them. Tell Azler it's been too long, we should get together again sometime. I'd visit myself, but you'll probably see him before I do. This is probably my last task before I go back home and get scolded again."

"Get scolded? What are you a child?" Animus laughed, he didn't know why she would be scolded but he still found it funny anyway. "And I shall give him your regards when I do see them." He added. The Hylian then grabbed his drink, took a small sip, and then set it back down.

"I should really get some sleep, all this sitting here is making me sleepy." Animus sad as he adjusted his pillow so that it laid comfortably behind his head. "Not to mention that your body recovers best when you are asleep, so goodnight Titania. See you in the morning." He finished saying as he laid his head back and closed his eyes.

Titania giggled at his comment of her being a child. The answer to that question would vary depending on who answered it. Most of the court treated her and called a child, and with some of her actions they had a decent argument.

"Some would say I'm still a child. Granted, I'm still fairly young but I'm not a child anymore. Anyways, good night." She left the room while he fell asleep. When he would next wake up, he would likely find Titania in the bed sleeping next to him, wearing only her undergarments.

Animus awoke the next morning feeling good. He sat up and noticed that Titania had crawled into bed next to him and fell asleep. The Hylian didn't mind and carefully made his way out of the bed, trying not to wake her. He walked over to the nearby table where his belongings were at and grabbed his money pouch. It was time to get cleaned up seeing how he was still pretty dirty from his "adventure" to Hyrule Castle, if you wanted to call it that.

He looked back at Titania once more as he made his way to the door, making sure she was still soundly sleeping. Seeing that she was, he exited the room. Making his way past the innkeeper, he nodded in greeting and the innkeeper gave a nod of his own. Animus then entered the bathroom area which had two sides to it, one for females and one for males. The Hylian entered the male side and went to the shower.

After a few minutes in the shower, Animus got out, dried off, and put on what decent clothes he had left. Making his way out of the showers and back into the main part of inn he looked at the innkeeper and told him he was going to go run an errand and would be back shortly. The Hylian exited the inn and made his way out into the busy town of Hyrlue. Looking around he instantly found the nearest clothing store.

On his way over to the store he had to maneuver through numerous crowds of people. Eventually, he made it to the entrance and entered the shop. Upon entering he was greeted immediately by the young female storekeeper.

"Hey! Welcome to Hyrule Clothing! Looking for anything in particular?" She asked Animus who was already eying an outfit.

"No thanks, I already see what I want." He replied, smiling and walking over to the outfit he spotted out only moments ago. Grabbing it off the shelf, he made sure everything was the right size. Just to make sure he walked into the dressing room and put it on. The outfit consisted of a red band over his head with his fringe emerging over it, a tattered red cape held in place over his shoulders and lower face by several buckles, and underneath his cape the attire was black with several straps and buckles. Satisfied, he made his way out of the dressing room and up to the counter to pay for his new outfit.

"Is this everything, sir?" The sales associate asked Animus who nodded in acceptance and handed her the appropriate amount of rupees. Going back into the dressing room Animus put on his new acquired outfit and then proceeded to exit the store. Feeling fresh and clean he walked through the town and back to the inn. Entering the inn he walked past the innkeeper and back into the room. Animus smirked as he saw that Titania was still sleeping like a baby. Not disturbing her, the newly cleansed Hylian sat in the chair and awaited for her to awake.

Not too long after Animus had returned, Titania awoke to find Animus sitting in the chair and her in the bed. It was a bit of role reversal from the night previous, but Titania didn't mind at all.

Facing Animus, she smiled and stretched herself out, eyeing the new look the Hylian had. He cleaned up and brought new clothes already? He was swift, and knew what he was doing.

"Good morning. I see you're prepared for the day already." She hopped out of bed and began to dress, not the least bit concerned about him being in the room. If he wanted to stare, he could. And why not, she was the most beautiful of the fairies after all.

"How are you feeling? Going to see the knights today or going to rest up a bit more?" At this point, he was probably ready enough to start their training. Whether or not he succeeded would be a different tale.

[Animus]

Animus was staring out the window until he heard Titania move about in the bed. He looked at her and gave her a smile back when he received one from her.

"Good morning. I see you're prepared for the day already."

"Yes, I guess you could say I am." The Hylian responded, looking at the the Fairy as she got out of the bed and began to get dressed. Being a male, its quite normal for them to stare, so yes, Animus stared, but in the most respectable way possible. She turned and then looked at him sitting in the chair.

"How are you feeling? Going to see the knights today or going to rest up a bit more?"

"I was actually thinking about going around the town and get use to where everything is at. I will possibly go see the Knights sometime later this week." He said standing up out of the chair and doing a little stretch of his own before grabbing the little food product and taking a small bite. "What about you? What are you going to do?" the Hylian added.

Titania did notice the staring. She would have been more surprised if he didn't stare, so she paid little attention to it. She also knew that she spent one more night in Hyrule Castle Town than she liked, so it would behoove her to get a move on.

"I have overstayed my welcome in this town. It's lovely, but it isn't the forest. I need to get back to the forest, before someone in the court sends out a messenger to get me." It had happened before. It wasn't pleasant. She began to equip her armor pieces and strung up her bow.

[Animus]

"Fair enough." The Hylian said to Titania as he gathered the rest of his belongings. "Just wanted to thank you again for everything you've done. And I hope we cross paths again sometime soon." He finished, and with a smile he turned and walked out the door.

Titania smiled. "You're quite welcome. Good luck with the Knights. We'll meet again." She made sure he left before giggling. He was a cute one. If she were lucky, they would in fact meet again. Then again, finding a Hylian Knight was never a difficult task.

She made sure she gathered up everything and took her leave of the inn once more, heading home to govern her people, or at least play figurehead again.
