"That blasted Thief!"

Somewhere in Castle Town a guard yelled out in frustration. He had failed to, once again, subdue and capture Kinsley: The Bandit Queen. One of his men on patrol spotted her leaving the house of a well known noble holding a stack overflowed with jewelry. He contracted him, the leader of her appearance this night.

Having heard his shout, another one of his men came over. "Lost her again?" he said, knowing full well he did.

"Don't mock me! I am your superior!" he said in response, his nostrils flaring, revealing his thick nose hairs.

"Look, let call it a night and we can try again?"

"NooooOOOOOOOooooo!" The lead guard bellowed, "I won't be defeated! I WIIIILL CATCH HER!" I'll follow her to the end of the world!"

"Man, sounds like you got a thing for her, eh?"

The lead guard just replied with a stare and he retreated back to another street corner. While this took place, Kinsley watched their antics from a roof top. That was certainly entertaining. She turned from the view of the guards below her and ran on the roof from the opposite direction. She jump off the ledge and using her tail for balance, she lands soundlessly gracefully on her feet on top of another roof. She continued until she was as far as she could be from the guard tailing her.

She felt a great sense of pleasure from doing the things she did. Even though what she did wasn't very nice. She shimmies down from the last roof she hop on, and once again lands safely and with grace on her black leather boots inside of an alley. She swings her stolen goods over her shoulder and began walking home, with a confident smile on her face.

Titania heard commotion come from the streets. Immediately she took to the streets out of her inn window and saw the guards hustling out after a shadow. Titania leaned up against a wall, watching the black silhouettes chase off after nothing.

"That blasted thief huh? Sounds like the guards excel once again at their duties. Well, I guess there's nothing left to do but explore. Never leave a guard to do a guard's job in this town." As she took to the sky, she noticed another black silhouette shimmying down to the streets of Hyrule Castle Town.

Titania smirked as she approached the area of descent, seeing the bandit walking confidently. Not bad to look at at all, Titania found herself intrigued. Using her indoor voice, she addressed the bandit from her little rooftop.

"Well well, what have we here? Somebody has been a bad little girl has she not?"

Kinsley walked down the alleyway with the bag of stolen valuables hung over her petite shoulder. Her planned heist to ransack a noble's jewels was a success, and she was heading home to celeberate with a helping of some of the Fairy Fountain Tavern's desert. Cake was on her mind. And after that, she'll show Fane the goods and--

"Hm?"

She heard a woman's voice just above her and by instinct looked at the direction from where it came. She hazel eye glaces at the fairy standing on the the roof above her, and was the same one she dismounted from. "I'm certainly a bad girl, maybe you shouldn't be around me, for your own safety of course. So good bye." She gave a small curtsy before turning around and going about on her way. She had not interest in the fairy and didn't see her as a threat in the least. It's a fairy. What can it do?

Titania's eyes widened at the prospect of her being a bad girl. For some reason being caught with bad people didn't scare Titania. Maybe it was the whole royal status thing, or maybe it was the incompetence of many of the guards.

"Something tells me the company I keep will do little to compromise my safety." She hopped down from the building and glided toward Kinsley, landing in front of her. One hand on her hip, she posed for the bandit queen, a smile on her face. "Tell me bandit, are the guards not looking for one who seems to match your description? You wouldn't want to leave a witness to your presence now would you?"

Clow was wandering around the castle town still not use to all this modernization, not feeling like he quite yet belonged. But on the other hand he could see the life all around even during the night, a tune almost filling his head. The boy tightened his bandana as to keep his long locks under wraps, not really wanting to be noticed. He was considering playing his Ocarina, when he hear the yelling as he leaned in, smirking a bit.

“Such excitement, maybe I should… Well.. I really don’t know what else to do…” Clow said, feeling a bit shy, but the excitement making him feel less so as he glances around. Having played the role of thief in the past, he had an idea where to look. He managed to spot the figure running across the roof tops as he followed along the side. Clow could have scaled the wall, climbing oh so many trees, but he didn’t want to be noticed, that would raise too much supposition, and what was the fun of that?

“Now this could be quite the little venture.” The boy snickered to himself, as he skidded to a stop, peaking around the corner, meeping a bit, and smirking nice and wide, he could tell right away, that this girl wasn’t normal. And now there was a fairy now! Something about this made him feel back at home, and his shyness vanished into the night air, he wasn’t sure how long he could keep his act up with such unusual women such as these, but why not try?

“Hey, you pretty ladies aren’t fighting now are you?” Clow said peeking out from the corner, as he swayed a lil an his heals, a big grin on his face.

The masked woman giggled softly. She might play with this woman, just for a bit. The night was still young. So she brought a free hand to her face. She rested her chin on her palm and tapped her bottom lip with her index finger, as she pondered on what do to with this witness. Then her face sudden brightens up once she had an idea.

"I'll just have to take you a a hostage, I suppose."

She spoke to the fairy with a relaxed calm tone, despite seriousness of what she said. But before she could try to tie up the lady, another came into the alley, this time what appeared to be a young boy. She looked at him, her rosy lips forming another smile.

"I'm going to need more rope.."

Titania first noticed the child from around the corner. Perhaps he was perceptive. But that mattered little. This little bandit had put forward an interesting proposition.

"Perhaps you should. Take me to your lair then, I shall not resist. There is nothing I can do against a bandit of your caliber." Titania reached around in her little bag, but found nothing to assist. "My apologies, I'm afraid I have no rope. However, I am sure that the boy should stay out of this. Children have no place in a bandit's clutches." Titania was curious if the bandit was going to really abduct her. She liked the idea in fact, it's not like Titania would have any trouble escaping if that were in fact the case.

Her attention turned to the boy standing before them. "No, I have surrendered. There is nothing I can do but submit to her wishes."

Clow raised his eyebrow a little. ‘Well this IS an interesting turn of events…… what a devious character, shame I don’t think she knows what she’s getting into…. But this could be interesting…’ The boy thought, rubbing his chin a bit as he step forward. No, running would be way to boring, he wanted to be part of this, as crazed as it might seem to some people. He spent so much of his life sheltered, and even the air of danger was what he was hoping for.

“Tsk, just like a fairy, thinking they have to take care of everyone, ya never wanna fight huh? Kinda sweet though.” Clow said, just giving the fairy a certain look, and a slight wink, wondering if she was bright enough to catch on. She seemed rather smart, but he was still being a little vague, it’s ever so boring to give all the hints away to such an interesting game after all.

“Ya kknnooowww ya don’t have to go through all the trouble of kidnapping us or anything silly like that…. Maybe you could… share a lil.” The Kokiri swung his arms back and forth, his sleeves flapping a bit in the wind, as he gave the best innocent eyes he could muster. He was having a rather good time, not sure who’s wit was on top of all this, but he couldn’t help but make the offer. The good's may be pilfered, but a little extra pocket money always put a smile on his face.

Through the holes in her silver mask which allowed vision, Kinsley raised an eyebrow at the youngster as he made his offer. This kid was trying to blackmail her, eh? While thinking about it, laughter began to raise out of her.

"Ehehehehe... how cute, little boy."

The humor at the situation she had began to slowly fade. Still looking at the child, "I'm sorry, but I can't give you these jewels." She looked over at the fairy, "Also, I wasn't actually planning on making this woman my hostage. Or you for that matter. I only said that to see what her reaction would be."

She started to walk past the fairy and then stopped after reaching a few steps away from her. She turns back to look at both the boy and the fairy.

"And besides, I can just disappear."

With those words, her body began to quickly turn transparent and then vanish before their eyes.

Titania was crushed when the girl decided to disappear. She was starting to like the feisty Minish girl. But oh well, thieves stole hearts as well, even if those hearts were on 6 inch strings and were thrown around a lot.

She leaned forward, hands on her hips, pouting in the general direction of where Kinsley was. "Fine, be that way." She stuck her tongue out for a moment before her capacity to care was exhausted. Her attention turned back to the boy in the streets with her.

"Not that I'm your mother, but I don't think you should be out this late." She eyed him over one time with a hand on her chin. "You definitely don't look homeless, hair's too long to be of affluent background. Knowledge of blackmail suggests you aren't sheltered." She licked her lips and took a deep breath. She had an idea, being from the forest, but didn't make any formal accusations just yet.

“Cute eh? I’ve heard worse.. well I suppose a bribe was a bit much to ask But I… Wait a moment! Don’t just-!” He stomped his foot a bit as the Minshed vanished. “Damn don’t you- You cowered… Gah this is why I’m going to be a treasure hunter and not some blasted thief!” He said digging his hands into his bandana shaking it loose as he lost his cool far more then he normally would. He was quite annoyed by the quick slip, being use to being the one who gave the escape. And while he would admit it, but it also made him feel a bit rejected.

The child of the forest was contemplating what to do next when, his thoughts were derailed by the fairy. He listened to her a bit and let out a slight meep. He grabbed at the hair behind him that had fallen loose from the bandana and let out a sigh. “Please, l don’t have a mother, I know you’re not being obvious, but you have to know by now after all. I know it’s kinda in your nature, what with the history and all that. But please, don’t condescend me… It’s a more fun to mess with more… Normal foke any how.” Clow said, taking his bandana and tying his hair in a pony tail.

He then pulled out a green cloak from a bag at his side, said bag, looking far too small to carry such a thing, as he wrapped it around his neck. “Though.. I am quite sorry if I’ve been a bit rude, my name is Clow… It’s a shame the other ones gone, would have been interesting in learning more about…. Uhm.. That interesting creature, whatever exactly it was. Though it’s good to meet someone a bit familiar, I am still a bit sheltered I suppose, but I’m getting better.” Clow said with a kind smile, holding his little hand out.

Titania nodded her head. She was right after all.

"I had my suspicions about you. The magic bandanna made me wonder from the start, but I didn't want to make a little oopsie and spill too many secrets about the grove." She smiled at the kid, or the mature one who looked like a kid. You could never tell with the Kokiri, with their childish bodies attached to adult minds.

"Titania. Nice to meet you, I don't mingle with the forest children much. She's some famous bandit the guards have been after. I recognized her from the tail. Not too many minish thieves around here after all." She looked down at his hand and smiled again before shaking it.

"Forget her, she didn't want to have any fun with us. Besides, I'm more curious as to why one of the forest's children is wandering around Castle Town after dark."

Clow couldn’t help but grin a bit, tightening his, now hair tie, feeling proud, such being visible right on his face. “Yeah well you know… magic isn’t all blasting things and healing others. I’m pretty good at enchanting objects, oh and potions… Though it kind of annoys me that I don’t have some ancient magic artifact to work off of at this point…” he blushes just a bit, maybe talking a little too much, feeling rather trusting around the young women.

“And well… yes are kind don’t seem to depend on each other as they once did, I suppose it’s just two races evolving wouldn’t you say? I’m still pretty young by my kinds slandered, so I never received a guardian fairy or anything like that…” Clow thought a bit about it all, that statement having a tone of light sadness to it. The boy was well read, and now he was even getting out into the world, but he spent so much of his life in the world of books. A companion that actually understood him would have been nice.

“I caught most of that on my own… other then the Minish bit, I nearly forgot about them, you think they would mingle among our kind more, though she’s rather cruel.…” A slight pout was on the boy’s face, he quickly wiping it off and shaking his head a bit. “Well hey now, I could ask the same of you ya know…. But really I’m just not as content as my brothers and sisters, I want to see more, and make my mark on the world… Though that must sound a bit foolish to someone like you huh? Our kinds are meant to be reclusive.. “

A look of confusion came across his face, it was slightly annoying, He was laying way too many of his cards on the table and he wasn’t sure why. Maybe it was some still withstanding spell that helped fairies gey through to stubborn Kokiri. Maybe this fairy just had that effect on people. Maybe Clow just had an urge to tell his story to someone who might understand. Who could tell? Either way, it was visibly bothering him.

Titania couldn't help but like the kid. She always had a fondness for the Kokiri, with their childlike innocent faces, but in all fairness having Titania like you wasn't much of an accomplishment.

"You've come a long way from the grove, as have I. Me, I just need to get out of the grove every so often. I'm bored with all the work I have to do. I know it's my responsibility, but it's just such a chore. Plus, it's not the court needs me to approve everything." The kid was probably smart enough to put all the pieces together at this point.

"This conversation probably needs to move somewhere else." Suddenly Titania grabbed Clow in a bear hug and took to the sky, flying through the open window she originally left out of.

The room she flew into was a room in the local inn, one bed and a desk its only luxuries. She let him go and laid down on the bed, relaxing.

"Sorry kid, just didn't want to be overheard by some ne'er do wells. I may shirk most of my duties, but I do take precaution so as not to let loose valuable information. So as I was saying, yeah I travel around Hyrule for days at a time just to get away. If I didn't I'd go crazy. I understand what it's like for someone to need to get out. I say good for you. But don't forget to return before someone starts to worry about you."

Clow’s embarrassment left him as his eyes grew a bit wide. He listened to the words, and pretty obvious hints she was dropping, well they were, for a Kokiri at least. “Hold on a moment, are you honestly telling me I’m speaking to the Qu-“ Clow was interrupted, the wind taken out of him for a moment by the bear hug. Though this may have been a good thing, as if he had any breath left, he may have screamed, something less then polite, when many were trying to sleep.

As they entered the room, He plopped backward and panted, looking at the fairy with a slight glare. “Would you warn someone before you do that? For Farore sakes woman, I leap from fifty foot trees and that gave ME a scare. Do that to a human and they may have a heart attack!” Clow said a bit under his breath to stop himself from yelling as he relaxed back on the floor, regaining his composure as he listened to some of Titania’s life story.

“Well I can understand that…. I bet I could have been boss of the Kokiri if I wanted, I farmed for the festivals; interacted well with the outsiders that wandered near the village, stuff like that….. But being tied down to reasonability doesn’t sound appealing to me." He said, laying his head back and kicking of his sandals, taking off his cloak as to make the ground more comfortable. “Course being the leader of the Kokiri doesn’t really hold the same weight as YOUR position.” Clow sat up and winked at her, kicking a bit idly

Titania scratched her back of her head, smiling. "Yeah, sorry about that. Just wanted to move. Where one bandit lies, there's bound to be more. Moving on though. At least you got a choice in being boss or not. I'm not a politician. I prefer moving through the grove helping out instead of being stuck with the court. I'm a good figurehead, but not really meant to be queen." She scooted down the bed, closer to the edge.

"You don't have to sit on the floor, you know." She winked back to him and giggled. "Yeah, being queen has its perks, admittedly. Even considering all I've said against the position, I couldn't give it up. Not yet at least." It had actually been a long time since she met with the Kokiri boss. Maybe she should put that on a to-do list for herself.

Clow rubbed the back of his head too. “Oh its fine, though kind of a shame, I might have enjoyed it if not for the panic and what not…. Oh! That’s right!” Clow said, digging into one of his coats pockets, and pulling out a pouch. He then peered into it, and dug his entire arm inside, something that would have looked amazingly odd to some people. The then hefted out a large tome, of course obviously far too large for the pouch, as he opened the book up.

“Hyrule really is an amazing land, we have all these people, so diverse, but… Looking into the better known races, only the Humans, Goron and Kokiri do not have royal families, though I can’t really speak for the less documented races, heck plenty that don’t know about my people.” Clow buried his nose into his book, showing a light blush as he was more or less invited to sit on the bed, not sure how to read this signal.

With a weak smile he climbed onto the foot of the bed, not getting to close to the fairy. “Well it’s a pleasure to meet someone like yourself, it’s not something that everyone can claim they have done, heck for the more secluded human people this would be the kinda story to pass down through the family.” He rambled on a bit with a shy, friendly smile, remaining rather calm and polite, wanting to seem respectful, but not that he was groveling.

Titania thought it was adorable that he wasn't trying to get too close. The Kokiri were a tough one for Titania, they had all the maturity they needed but just stopped aging. If only they didn't have the bodies of children, it would make things so much easier.

Trying to relax some more, she removed all of her weaponry and placed it on the desk, along with her armor pieces. Now she felt more comfortable in her outfit, hugging her in all the right places. She was always beautiful, no matter the situation. Call it magic, call it the queen's glow, she just had a way about herself.

"True. Although the humans don't even really have their own government. Sure they have the champion, but they really congregate under the Hylian rule instead of their own. And it's a pleasure to meet you as well Clow. I don't get to see many Kokiri, they seem to be distancing themselves recently." She looked over to get a glimpse of the book he was reading. "What are you reading over there?"

Clow glanced over, blushing a bit more as the fairy started disarmoring herself as to be more comfortable. Clow was unequipped currently; his claws being located in two, small, unassuming pouches at his side. This allowed him to equip them easily and secretly thanks to his large sleeves. Heck Clow would be covered with pouches if not for his only moderately sized satchel. And if not for well thought out organization system he wouldn’t even be able to put his hands ona nything he needs.

The Kokiri thought about making himself more comfortable, letting his hair down and putting his treasured bandanna aside. He could have removed his shirt, but even with his lessened modesty do to his race, he felt that might be a bit forward. He was after all not truly a child, mostly, but he was still unsure how to read more romantic or sensual situation. And he was far too shy to bring one on, being aware of how awkward his physical appearance might make someone feel.

“Your quite inquisitive Miss Titania, I like that.” He said with a grin, feeling a bit more at ease. “And this, is one of my treasures I suppose, it’s a sort of history tome, well over a century old, even written in old Hylian. It’s got some good information on a lot of subjects, even those it’s outdated.” He smiled warmly and set it aside, only wanting a quick scan while the two chatted about worldly affairs.

Titania giggled as the boy, no, the Kokiri let his hair down and put the tome on the side. She still hadn't made up her mind about whether or not to try and charm him, but at least he was being responsive to a degree.

"Inquisitive is one way to put it. But the tome seems fascinating. I never learned to read old Hylian text, but some of the elder court members are able." She seemed to be staring off into space as she lay on the bed. In truth, she was wondering about how she was going to approach this. He had a level of boyish charm, although more maturity in his tone, given his farmwork. However, he still had the body of a child. If only he weren't Kokiri.

She was curious about one thing though. "Why do you keep your hair so long, and then hide it with your bandanna? It seems a bit contradictory to do so."
