well, Hello (TITANIA)

[shiobu]

The tickling had come to a complete stop. Shiobu was thankful, but tired out. Suddenly Titania grabbed Shiobu in a giant hug. She cuddled Shiobu. The embrace was a sweet gesture. and oddly comforting. It had been quite some time since she was held like this. Shiobu relaxed and let the embrace happen. She listened to Titania.

"I guess, but you are the queen right? It is kinda your responsability right?" asked Shiobu as she snuggled up to Titania.

[titania]

Titania was happy Shiobu wasn't too taken aback by the gesture. Some people are weirded out by snuggling with a stranger. But Titania was who she was, and besides, Shiobu needed a break from all the tickles.

"Nah, the court doesn't need me to make decisions. Most of the time I feel more like a figurehead than an actual ruler. The great fairies earned their place on the council, I just have mine by birthright. They need me more for my people-pleasing abilities than they do for making tough decisions." It was probably about as morbid as Titania ever got, but she spoke the truth. It didn't really sadden her, but it was kind of sad. She squeezed Shiobu for a moment before returning to a normal snuggle.

[shiobu]

"Well are you happy with that? being a figure head can be both good and bad. look at who was the figure head of the Greudos. He was an evil man, but that doesn't mean we are all bad. As a figure head you have responsibilities. Do you sit in on the meetings? it can't be that bad." said shiobu.

Shiobu was glad the tickling had stopped and the conversation had turned. Shiobu might have looked cute and cuddly but she was very intelligent.

"Having been born into a posisiton of power isn't too bad. you still have much work to do, so it's not like it's all bad right?" asked shiobu.

Titania was impressed. Shiobu did in fact know her stuff. With that brain going with her looks, it was amazing she wasn't being followed by men everywhere she went.

"I venture out into the world so often, I miss most of the meetings. I would rather be out in the open letting the public know I care. I guess since I feel like a figurehead I act more like one. That's why I often let the court handle the meetings. I feel as if my responsibility is outside the walls." It wasn't as if she left the courts just for fun, although it was fun. She was a people's leader, not a politician.

"Being born into a position of power has its ups and downs. I got a lot of attention while I was younger, and always loved to snuggle from a young age. However, the court always feels as if I have to act a certain way. So I get the attention I so love, but at the cost of specific expectations." She had half a mind to invite Shiobu to visit in the hallowed halls of the Sacred Grove. One of the things she tried her hardest to do was make the grove more accessible to other races. It was an area of peace and healing, something that many needed.

"Well no one says you have to act a certain way. You can act how ever you want and it should be fine, within reason that is. If you go out and steal it could look bad on your people, but acting like yourself can prove good for the out look of your people. Go out do nice things. people will see that faries can be fun and serious." said shiobu.

Shiobu was loving this attention. she was pretty much ignored in her village until they had a problem they needed help with. Only then would she be call, then after she solved the problem the village head would take credit for it.

"Make sure you give credit where it is due." said Shiobu. "Nothings worst than taking something away like figuring out how to raise money or a way to enhance weapons... dumb leader..."

Titania laughed again. "Plenty of people say you have to act a certain way when you represent an entire race, or more specifically, defining a stereotype. The court is always worried people will think all fairies act like me. Politics." She laughed again. Her self-image was one thing, but the image of fairies overall was another matter entirely. Titania rarely spoke for others, and if it was it was prepared by the court anyway, which doesn't count.

"When credit needs to be given, I do my best to remember to. But my memory isn't perfect." She always liked to appreciate the help of others. Others were nice, and she always prided herself on being a people person.

During the whole conversation, Titania had been resisting the urge, but decided to wrap her arm around Shiobu and poke her a couple of times. Nothing extreme, just a friendly reminder of who has control.

[shiobu]

"Nya!" squealed Shiobu.

Shiobu squirmed a bit by being poked Titania as a small remider of who was in control of the situation. But it was friendly, not like before.

"Well if you act your way it can be veiwed as a person but also act in a way that shows how your people are. i wouldn't recommend walking up to heads of the other races and attacking them like you did me." giggled Shiobu.

Titania pouted at the mention of the heads of other races, and attacking Shiobu.

"I did not attack you. I took you by surprise and then tickled you. But, when it comes to other leaders, you need to know who you're dealing with. I think Patriarch Darbus would throw me off Death Mountain if I tried to tickle him, but perhaps Prince Ralis would be more accepting of the idea." Titania wanted to punish Shiobu for accusing poor little Titania of an attack, but didn't feel like another struggle. She'd save it for later.

"I don't think there is a set way that all fairies act. Many of us may lean towards one way or another sure, but there are always exceptions. For example, many of us believe opening the Sacred Grove is a bad idea, but I welcome it with open arms. It's the one meeting I always make a point of attending." It was near to her heart after all.

[shiobu]

"Open it up? i've never heard of this location. Is it pretty? are there flowers? is it warm? is there water? what do the houses look like?" asked Shiobu, curiosity getting to her again making her giddy.

Shiobu was now intrigued. a location she'd never heard about. she wanted to know more about the location. She was very curious about this grove. it sounded familiar but at the same time sound like something right out of a story book.

"I wanna know about this place!" squealed Shiobu.

[titania]

Titania laughed at Shiobu's curiosity once again emerging. It was cute to hear her ask so many questions, but at the same time it was hard to keep up. She poked Shiobu one time before answering her question.

"The Sacred Grove may be the most beautiful place in all of Hyrule. At least I think it is. There are a multitude of flowers, but the trees keep in shady and therefore relatively cool. There's an underground stream coming from Lake Hylia that provides us with water, and even if it didn't the Faron Shrine isn't far away. Us fairies have different styles of housing, some fancy and some very plain. Some of us take after the Kokiri and build tree-houses." Titania licked her lips and released Shiobu for a moment, reaching through her bag for something before pulling out a small silver cup. She extended her wings and fluttered over Lake Hylia, filling up the cup and taking a drink.

"Need some water? All this talking has made me thirsty."

[shiobu]

Shiobu was feeling more comfortable around Titania. that was either a good thing or a bad thing. Titania was a kind woman, even if she did tend to tickle a lot.

"um... sure." said Shiobu.

While Titania was getting water Shiobu was nervously figeting. her weapons where still on the ground. She didn't know if she should pick them up. for some reason she was extremely nervous.

"why... why am i like this.... i've never had this problem before. why must i be this way... she'll probably just leave me alone..." Shiobu softly said, unknowing saying this out loud.

[titania]

Titania took a quick couple of swigs from the lake before filling up the cup one more time and offering it to Shiobu. However, Shiobu was being nervous, and she was talking about having some sort of problem. It piqued Titania's interest, perhaps she should inquire further.

"Something wrong Shiobu? You seem to be scared of something. Scared I'm going to depart hmm? It's ok, I'm not going to hurt you. Maybe a little more tickling, but I won't hurt you." Titania's smile faded into a look of genuine concern. She may be free-willed, but she cared about others, and wanted to help.

[shiobu]

".....um, it's..... nothing. i'm being shelfish. I'm sorry." said Shiobu.

The was going horribly. at first she had actually enjoyed parts of this day but when it came to be alone with her thoughts it wasn't pretty. she never thought about hurting herself, her thoughts were just scary. was it that she felt Titania to be like a sister.

"I just never usually get this giddy with people. i get hurt when time comes to leave... sorry this is selfish of me" replied shiobu

Titania's face saddened. She took Shiobu's sadness on her own shoulders, her own thirst had caused Shiobu to be sad. At least that's how her mind put it.

"Sorry, I never meant to leave you, I was just going to get a drink." She pulled Shiobu into another hug. She completely lost all desire to poke or tickle Shiobu, she just wanted to improve Shiobu's mood. "Sorry about that, I just didn't think. But know that I never intended to hurt you. And I'm glad I made you giddy." Her frown started to crack, turning more neutral. But until Shiobu was happy again, she was going to refrain from looking too bubbly.

[shiobu]

"it's not your fault. you getting a drink didn't cause anything wrong i'm just being paranoid. it happens some times. My thoughts tend to wonder and make me think of bad things." said Shiobu.

Shiobu could see that Titania was saddened by her change of mood. Shiobu started to feel really bad for making her new friend upset. it wasn't the proper thing to do. when meeting someone you don't let your dirty laundry float out.

"Really you are at no fault. you've been nothing but kind to me." said Shiobu.

[titania]

"I don't mean to be rude, or to pry too deep, but why do you think of such bad things. Between your intelligence and your looks, you don't seem to be doing too badly." Titania held her close, not wanting to let the poor girl go until Titania knew what was going on. But, at the same time, she wouldn't force any information out.

"In all fairness, I was mean to you for a moment. The tickling was a bit devilish on my part, in all fairness. Although the kind words do mean a lot." Titania cracked her neck just to loosen it up a bit. She hadn't been as active the past few moments, since all she and Shiobu were doing were cuddling.

[shiobu]

"I have some issues with being left alone." admitted Shiobu

It was true. she loved being with other people. it felt good to help out, but at the same time she had been rasied to get into things that she wasn't meant to. She could be a theif but on most occasions she didn't steal.

"I'm sorry, i just like company who doesn't judge me. The tickling wasn't that bad. you made me laugh." said Shiobu as the cuddle continuued.

[titania]

Titania pulled Shiobu in tight. "Aww, you poor thing. I think you're great, and anyone who says otherwise is just silly. I'm not the judging type, but anyone who would jusge you negatively is out of their mind." Titania wasn't sure what kind of past she was carrying in those boots that would create judgment, but Titania knew the feeling. She was judged every time she came home, by the courts, by the handmaiden, by everyone. Everyone who felt that she should remain in the sacred grove, guarding it instead of gallivanting around Hyrule with all sorts of people, good and bad.

Titania was pulled out of her little thinking trance and back to Shiobu. The good-looking Gerudo with her weapons strewn around the ground after her display of her swordsmanship. Devious thoughts continued to implant themselves in Titania's mind, but the girl seemed a bit down, and Titania was not one to twist emotions in her favor.

"Feeling a bit better now?"

[shiobu]

"A little bit." replied Shiobu.

Shiobu was loving this. Attention. She wasn't use to it at all. and this was like a dream. an embrace with a caring individual was very nice. it had been a long time since she felt this was.... content. that was a good feeling.

"This is nice." said Shiobu as she snuggled with Titania. "your real nice."

[titania]

Titania pulled Shiobu tighter and smiled. "Well thank you. You're very nice as well." It took a great deal of Titania's willpower to not lay down Shiobu on the grass and take her to town. It seemed that Shiobu was content cuddling, and taking it further may scare her or push her away.

Despite all this, Titania found it hard to resist. Her hands made their way around Shiobu, meeting at the stomach. Now directly behind her, Titania rested her head on Shiobu's shoulder and smiled.
