Well, today was a nice day. A nice breeze flowing through the air, very sunny and just glowing with life, despite the current weather it was definitely nicer than usual. However, this didn’t bring a smile to Lilium’s face, not so much of even a brightened expression, Lilium was still as darkly gloomy as ever, making her way to a small stand set up in the middle of the village, it seemed a travelling salesmen opened a small food service before going on his way back to the city, how convenient, she was sort of hungry. She didn’t have an idea to why she was even in Ordon village; maybe someone would hire her here? Maybe something nice would happen? Maybe, she might find an Ordon Super glue that’s he can use for her head. That would simply be amazing, and well the best thing to happen to her since… ever.
She carefully sat herself within the cushions of the stool and peered heavy eyed at the list of food available. The chef looking over at her with a smile, “hey there, nice to see a new customer.” Her eyes fell on him rather slowly, and he sort of wondered if she was having a bad day. “You seem to be having a bad day, ma’am.” His eyes slightly lowering to the weapons hanging at her waist, the long wavy long blades. Bad day? He probably meant bad life, that’s what ran through her head. “I don’t know what to eat…” [/b] she sighed and leaned over, placing her hand on her head, and the other resting against the counter a she balanced herself on the stool. “I know what will cheer you up!” he beamed, and pointed to the Ordon special noodles. Her head tilted, definitely not something she’s had before. “Nothing ever seems to makes me happy, but you can try.” Her melodic depressing voice called out. She dropped a couple rupees on the table, and he continued with his upbeat nature. “Don’t worry ma’am, I’m quite sure this will perk up your mood rather well!” he suddenly boasted, and went to the back to cook the meal. It was then she was suddenly being surrounded by... men. Well not an unusual thing for her, her distant eyes curled around to stare at the group. One sitting beside her, a smirk –oh she’s seen that smirk-- it was a man probably interested in her. “Couldn’t help but see you from the distance, your beauty just seems to sparkle and catch the eyes.” He mentioned as he peered over her thin but curvy figure, her golden eyes brightened for a moment. “You think I’m pretty?” she asked, bemused, she didn’t think she was all that beautiful. “Lady, you got more curves than a Deku Tree, and a face prettier than the Princess.” She actually didn’t know what a Deku tree was, nor did she even know what princess Zelda looked like. She brightened up a little, her cheeks becoming red. “I-I can make myself prettier!” she exclaimed, her face growing bright, “Oh yeah?” he asked, “W-watch!” She suddenly lifted her hands to her head, gripped it, and then it came right off. She placed it on the table, not really noticing that their faces became blank… like sleets... one of them grew white. Her now headless body hunched its shoulders and her head, gave a wide smile, “Now you can stare at my pretty body, without the ugly head!”[/b] what happened next was a series of screams, the first being that of the men; I mean they were terrified, the next coming from her as one of them ripped out a sword, and the next being the Chef, who just walked out to see the confusing, utterly mind-blowing situation. The men, decided fighting wouldn’t be very smart, and ran like a bunch of pansies. Lilium’s face pretty much went blank, her hands reaching out to prop the head back on its neck, tightening the bandages around it. She rotated on her stool to see the chef, gawking at her, holding her meal. She extended her hand, “food, please?” she asked,. He crept over, placed it in front of her, and slowly backed away. She took a fork in hand and slurped a noodle into her mouth. A bit of silence passed and she looked up at him with eyes showing how sad she was, “Nope… not happy.”[/b] He made a cringing face and slowly backed into the kitchen area again. Why did life have to be like this? [/div] OOC:

The breeze that Abe felt was a relief from the heat that he had been feeling. Concealed within his functional dark cloak, the sun only beat down on him more harshly. He accepted that, though, because he didn't like to reveal himself to anyone. He was a quiet and reserved person, after all, and liked staying hidden... isolated. He was essentially a man a few words, but important ones nonetheless. The cloak concealed his body from his neck to his shins, and he wore a hood to cover his face, save for his shining purple eyes that glimmered with a quaint curiosity not easily quenched. His facial expressions were always hidden behind the hood.
That day, Abe had decided to travel to Ordon. It was a small and quiet town, to be sure, which is what Abe hungered for on this day. He was tired of the hustle and bustle of the city, and more so tired of its people. They were often rude and abrasive, if not something far worse. He didn't much care for them, interesting as they were. And Abe rarely found himself in Ordon, and today was a free day for him, thus he decided to venture out.
Though it seemed that, even with optimistic whether, not all people were cheerful. Stepping into the village, Abe saw a figure that was dressed as though she wasn't from Ordon, as he wasn't from Ordon either. She seemed slightly out of place, but nonetheless attractive. Standing from a distance, Abe watched and carefully listened as she was hit on by the brutes of the village. Or at least, that's what Abe would have considered them to be. That or pigs, though pigs was a much more brutal and... probably accurate word. He was slightly disgusted to see that people could not operate or communicate with the opposite gender without taking into account the physical appearance, though she was rather beautiful.
Standing in his spot, Abe watched curiously as she reacted. He was far enough away not to be noticed, but close enough to hear the dialogue. She claimed that she could be even prettier, then proceeded to remove her head. Abe's eyes widened with amazement, and from within his hood, he couldn't stop a very interested a bright smile from creating itself across his lips. His eyes twinkled; she was clever, a very interesting character. The woman set her head down on the table, then the men started to freak out and become afraid of her. They all disappeared shortly, and even the cook began to withdraw.
Abe was stunned. It was such an amazing feat she had pulled off, and she was such a curious person. To be able to do that... How interesting. Abe was intrigued, to say the least, and began his approach toward the small stand, his cloak still shrouding him. When he approached, he stood, rather than sat down on a stool, and placed his hand gently on the counter of the stand.
His eyes drifted, still cloaked semi-decently under his hood, towards the woman to his right. "Perhaps the goat cheese?" Abe tapped his fingers on the counter to attempt and summon the cook, and he then lowered his hood, revealing his entire face. His face was the true index of mind; his smile was warm and quaint, his eyes full of intrigue. His hair was clean but rather messy, as it always was; even more so hidden behind a hood.
The cook came out and attempted to ignore the woman sitting down beside where Abe stood, but he was clearly frightened. He nodded to Abe with a noticeable fear in his eyes, then retreated back into the kitchen for a moment. He was gone for quite some time before returning. Abe's gaze dropped a bit and turned towards the depressed-looking woman, and his heart hurt for her. He spoke not, but waited patiently for his cheese.
Finally it came out, and he paid for it and smiled at the cook. "Thank you." He said amiably, then sat down on the stool next to the woman. Without speaking to her or looking at her, Abe broke the goat cheese in half and slid one part to her. After doing so, he finally broke his gaze from the cheese and turned to look at her.
"It's your eyes," he began, attempting not to flirt, but at the same time, attempting to speak his mind. "Why remove your head when the most attractive thing is your eyes?" Abe decided it best not to further his attempt from there, as he didn't want to come off as the dirty pig-men had not moments ago. He chuckled and offered her a warm smile. Then he nodded to the cheese he handed her, and took a bite out of his own half.
"Go on, try it. It's pretty delicious."

She sat there, idly, trying to enjoy her soup. Really what would make him think this would make her happier? It wasn’t even all that good. She started playing with her food at that moment, her fork twisting and swishing the limp noodles around. Her eyes still as cold and looming as ever. It was then she sensed a bit of movement behind her, her eyes moving to a man in clad cloak and hidden form behind her. He was perusing the menu, and she was tempted in telling him not to get the noodles, but she kept quiet, that and feared the chef would chase her away. He ordered goats cheese, something else she’s never heard of. Her very small wings made a slight flutter, the lightest blue hue of them dancing for a moment.
As she sat there, words met her, and she looked over calmly, her eyebrows curling up even more. Her eyes? She always thought she had big eyes, like some creepy owl, not the least attractive. But the man, seeming more to inform than to flirt, probably knew what he was talking about. “I’ve never thought my head to be all that pretty. Especially my big, ugly eyes.” [/b] She made a sad face, just about to stand off the stool when he handed her a piece of the cheese he had bought. She eyed it, listening to him. She took it in her hand and took a bite into it. Noticing his hood was finally down. Her eyes curiously dancing about him. “I don’t think I’m pretty at all.” She mused, the cheese was definitely better than the noodles, she was still getting weird eyes from the towns people, not that she really cared much, she always got weird eyes after that figured out she had a detachable head. She finished the cheese rather quickly, and then looked off to the distance, “Thank you for the meal.”[/b] She slowly stood off the table, “and thank you for your cheese.” [/b]The chef probably took some offense to her barely eating it. She bowed to the two, “I’m going to go kill myself now, goodbye.”[/b] The chef’s face went pale and he gawked. Should he attempt to stop her, well whatever. Lilium slowly made her way toward the pond, she’d have to think carefully on how to take herself out, she wanted something painless, though she might not be able to afford anything like that- they tended not to work. Her ace went from depressed to… well… depressed and pondering. She’s seriously had enough of living like this, it was just dreadful, though yes she was already dead, she thought dying again might actually be a good idea to her. [/div] OOC:

Abe turned his eyes but not his head towards her and offered another soft and warm smile. He never really gave out the big toothy smiles, as they didn't suit him, but he smiled at her genuinely, then looked back to his cheese and chuckled. "Well, I don't think I can change what you think about yourself, but I can tell you what I see, important or not." Abe's eyes narrowed and he studied his half of the cheese. It was good; he got it all the time. Well, he got it when he came to Ordon, which wasn't often. The young man frowned, then looked back over to the woman, who began looking more and more sad. Maybe the cheese hadn't helped, but that didn't sadden Abe. It just meant he'd have to try harder.
"You know..." He began slowly, turning his cheese over, then setting it on the counter. Abe rested his head on his fist and flicked the cheese with his free hand, sending small chunks of it behind the counter towards the kitchen. "I'm sure there's not much point in telling you how beautiful you are, is there? I mean, it's something you clearly get all the time." He continued with a joking tone, alluding to the men from earlier. "I know there's not much convincing someone who is so determined on their own personal mindset..."
He pondered on how he would continue, looking over at her. His heart broke for her. She wasn't just beautiful, she was broken on the inside. Her spirit was nearly nonexistent. She seemed shattered, like something in her past had happened that was cruel and vile, something that twisted and warped her. Her heart and vital spirit were gone, broken by some or multiple events. That much was certain. She wasn't whole, she didn't seem complete. There was something missing; something that Abe probably couldn't provide for her. People who had lost hope like her eyes seemed to convey couldn't be cured with words... but perhaps action. Either way, Abe knew he had to try. Not only because he hurt for her, but because he wanted to; it was the right thing to do. He had to try.
He smiled again, but not at her. He had looked back to his cheese, and the lively expression in his own purple eyes had faded. Then the woman spoke, beginning to thank both him and the chef, though she didn't seem to have touched his meal much. Maybe she actually liked the cheese. That would be a relief, though he wasn't about to ask her if she did or not. That would have made him feel rude. But then she said something that really made Abe choke. His cheese nearly came up through his throat and out onto the counter.
Widened by fear, Abe's purple eyes shook in his head. Killing herself? If he had known she was that torn up, he would have done more than buy her cheese. Perhaps simple company wasn't what she needed. No, clearly it isn't what she needed. Shaken with fear and trembling, Abe could not stand at first. She stood, calm and collected as she had always been, and left. The chef retreated inside the kitchen, which made Abe angry enough to stand. He did, then turned to her as she was walking. She was heading to the pond...
Abe bit his lip and narrowed his eyes. He had calmed down a bit, and his heart continued to break for this girl, whoever she was. He didn't even have her name yet, and she was about to kill herself. If Abe could prevent that, he was sure as hell going to try... but he knew better than to be reckless. Slowly and quietly, he wrapped his cloak back around him, then proceeded to follow the woman. When she stopped to ponder, he did as well.
Furrowing his eyebrows in a hurt confusion, Abe stepped next to her, his hood still lowered. "Hey..." he said softly, attempting to meet her eyes. He wasn't just complimenting when he said she had beautiful eyes; he had truly meant it. They were rather attractive, but Abe tried to ignore their shade and glimmer. He could see the pain and depression in them, and it hurt him. "I don't know you. I don't know who you are, I don't know your story, or your life..." he began slowly, then turned to her fully.
"But I know that because you are you, I care for you. And you can't seriously do this..." He stopped and looked to the ground. What else could he say? He wanted desperately to help her, but sometimes his words just weren't enough. Perhaps there was something he could do for her, but he didn't know what in the world that could be. Suicidal people weren't the most collected beings he knew, emotionally or otherwise.
Biting his lip again, he looked back up at her. "My name is Abe. I'd very much like to know your name... At the very least. Then I'd like you to come with me, because I have some things to show you. What do you say?" After asking his question, Abe realized how stupid he was being. She was clearly suicidal, after all. Suicidal or attention-seeking, but Abe was good at telling the difference, and she was by no means seeking attention. That's what hurt him the most.
