APPEARANCE,

Abe is tall, standing at 6'3", and has an average frame. He is not physically strong in any way, contrary to the size of the massive sword he wields on his back. He has long legs and arms. His hair is medium-length, dark brown, and is always clean, but never otherwise taken care of. He has bright, intriguing purple eyes that shine wildly, and his smile is a warm and soft one. He wears a lightweight, tight-fitting vest and flowing pants that reach down to his shins, but Abe is almost always seen wearing a large black cloak that conceals himself entirely down to his shins. He rarely takes this off, and when he does, one can consider that Abe is likely to get serious.

His frame allows Abe to fight with a rather defensive and elusive style; he prefers to dodge and block and evade to tire out his foe, since he is so physically weak. Abe is very agile and quick, and uses these traits to his advantage. He eats well and normally, and his body doesn't stay too skinny, nor does it get fat, but he has very little muscle.

WEAPONS,

• BALANCE - A huge, bandage-wrapped buster sword with four blue gems imbued in the hilt. (not magical)
  
• THROWING NEEDLES - Abe carries three throwing needles in a gauntlet on the inside of his wrist. They are black, and hard to see whilst being thrown at high speeds, thus hard to avoid. They do minimal damage, as they are not armor piercing and thus do not dig very deep into the skin. They are mainly used to slow Abe's opponent down so he can strike more easily with his hands/feet/sword. (not magical)

Abe uses this ability because he is physically weak. He is very agile, but he lacks physical prowess. Chaos allows his strength to become bolstered intensely, and he is able to wield his sword, Balance, when this power is activated. When activated, a purple aura glows around Abe, and he remains as agile and speedy as ever, but also gains a physical power boost. He can only wield his sword, Balance, when Chaos is active. Chaos is a buff that lasts 3 posts, with a 3 post cooldown. (Increases damage output by 1 level (Moderate), and decreases damage taken by 1/2 level.)

Abe is naturally very fast, but with this ability activated, his speed is boosted tremendously. When Barrier Break is active, Abe is able to move at speeds near ungodly. He can move so quickly that his movements begin to look like teleportations. He can move from one place to another at such incredible speeds that his body seems to vanish and reappear. Because of the intensity of this ability, it can only be used once per thread, and is only active for two posts. IT CANNOT BE USED IN COMBINATION WITH CHAOS. (Increases action slot to 3 in LS; increases speed by 3x in Casual.)

Abe was born with a very strange ability to sacrifice his own life force to heal minor to major injuries in another person. Depending on the severity of the injury, Abe can either sacrifice very little or very much of his life force. This ability can only be used once per thread, however, and can potentially make Abe so weak that he can no longer fight. (Trade one level of health to give an ally 1/2 level of health.)

HISTORY,

Abe was born to two wonderful parents named Isabella and Iza. Both were shopowners in Kakariko Village, and were known to be nice and friendly people who were willing to put others before themselves.

When he was born, Abe was born as a twin. His near-identical brother, Thomas, had black hair and red eyes as opposed to Abe's brown hair and purple eyes. The two grew together and became best friends, doing almost everything together. They became closer than most would have thought possible.

When school began for the two of them, they breezed through. Neither twin had to put forth any effort, and neither one ever knew what it was like to have to apply oneself to any one thing. They were inseparable and intelligent, quickly rising to what they would have called fame at their young ages.

Once Abe and Thomas grew into their early teenage years, they strangely began to separate. Abe made new friends and Thomas made his new friends. Abe, with his perception and intuition, noticed that Thomas was becoming secretive. He was changing, and becoming something dark and scary. He began using his powers for malice, and was involved with a bad crowd that did nothing but negatively influence him.

One day, when they both turned 14, Abe approached Thomas and asked him if there was anything he was hiding, or anything he wanted to tell him. Thomas said no, and viciously attacked his own brother, breaking his left arm and giving him a black eye. Abe said nothing to his mother or father about the incident, and both twins claimed that Abe had just fallen down a set of stone steps.

Abe became depressed with his brother's decline. Thomas became involved with a local group of kids that could more or less be considered a "gang", though they never called themselves that. They often left the village to terrorize neighboring towns, and even the Castle Town. On Abe and Thomas's 16th birthday, a cavalry came into Kakariko to find Abe's father, Iza. Iza was given news that his son had taken the life of a shop owner, and Iza broke down, as did his wife.

Abe was seemingly unaffected. Iza and Isabella cried their eyes out, but one night, when Abe had fully healed was battle-ready, he set out for Hyrule Castle Town. He knew that Thomas was somewhere inside, but in the night, Abe thought it dangerous, and camped outside for the night, waiting until daybreak.

Abe looked around the Castle Town that morning shrouded in his infamous black cloak that hid all of him, so his brother wouldn't recognize him. Eventually, Abe found Thomas in one of the alleyways of the Castle Town, beating an elderly man with clubs. Then one of the kids that was with Thomas gave him a small sword, and Thomas prepared to take his life, and Abe rushed forward.

Leaping into the air, Abe spun-kicked his brother and knocked the blade out of his hand. Thomas, equally skilled, retaliated with his forearm, blocking the severity of the kick, and sending Abe back into the wall. Abe leaped off it, and landed behind his brother, and his hood fell. The two looked at each other; Thomas, with shock, and Abe, with determination. Abe stood, and asked his brother to leave and go home. Thomas said no, and charged at his brother after picking up the sword.

It was a reckless move that Thomas took. He charged forward, sword in hand, and leaped into the air. Abe rolled under him and kicked upwards, knocking Thomas a bit higher into the air, and then grabbed the sword that he dropped. Without hesitation, Abe stuck it into his brother's back, ending his life. The group of kids ran away.

Abe held his brother as his life faded from him, but knew it had to happen. He cried more than he had ever cried in his life, and after that day, Abe grew solemn and quiet, not opening up about his past to anyone. He had killed his brother in an attempt to save another elderly man, and he half-regretted his decision, but it was too late.

He took the body back to Kakariko village and buried it in the graveyard on his own, and every year since then, Abe has laid flowers at his brother's grave. He now travels outside the village, taking small errands and doing odd jobs, trying not to use his skills unless absolutely necessary.

Right, let's get this show on the road.

Chaos
Only thing here is that because you're using the LS style, you're going to need to specify how much of a physical buff you get when using this, basically to determine endurance against physical attacks and strength using physical attacks.

So, at the end of your ability, I think it'd be fair if you put that Chaos increases your damage output by half a level and lowers your opponent's physical output damage by half a level.

Normal weapon attacks are generally considered to do half a level of damage which is a [Low] level of damage, therefore I reckon you could get away with the additional half level taking your damage to a [Moderate] level of damage for the duration of the buff. Likewise for the endurance, it would reduce [Moderate] attacks from your enemies down to [Low] attacks.

You could probably also decrease the cool-down to three turns rather than five.


Barrier Break
You could also use something for LS here, which would be to give yourself an extra action slot for those two turns, being as you can only use this technique once in a thread. In LS, you effectively have two action slots you can use per turn, which are generally used to Dodge and Attack (both taking an action turn), although you can use the slots for either of them or both of one. With an extra action slot gained from this, it would effectively reflect your character's temporary increase in speed by being able to do more in LS.

So, just put that whilst this is active, he gained an extra action slot in LS (which only applies when you're actually using LS in a thread).


Sacrifice
Again, in LS, you need to specify exactly how much you sacrifice health-wise in order to heal the target by however much. For a starter level ability like this, I would suggest you put being able to sacrifice a level of health (so you would decrease an entire level) to heal a target by half a level (so you would need to sacrifice two of your own levels to heal a target by one level). You could upgrade this ability over time to make it more efficient for yourself, but I think this works as a starter ability.

Although, that then introduced my next question; which one of these three is your Flexibility slot, because whichever it is, it cannot be upgraded, therefore it will constantly stay like it is at the moment throughout your character's entire history. You'll need to state that (and I'd advise picking wisely between these three).
