APPEARANCE,
Rennal has the traditional black hair of his village. You'd be hard-pressed to see the boy he once was, though, and instead you'll see fierce, determined grass green eyes, cheeks that pinch when he smiles, and a wide set brow, all around square features. Overall, his face has the look of a born leader in it.
His wardrobe is a different story. You'll nearly always see him in commoner's clothing, with little interest in extravagance or formality. Even his armour has little trace of any of his heritage of nobility in it, with a simple chain shirt underneath a commoner's tunic tied with a hard leather belt. His clothing are nearly always loose, though, to allow for mobility, and he never wears more than a chain shirt, gauntlets, and leg armour and/or tasset belts in melee combat, and never more than a chain shirt in ranged combat, although at times he is forced to wear one or the other as the two types of combat converge.
WEAPONS,
Sword: Just a long-sword, designed especially for him with the initials E.V. engraved into it. He keeps this extra sharp with a whet stone, whenever he has spare time.
Bow: He has a short bow strapped to his back, with the quiver in the same place. The arrows he keeps sharped to perfection with a small whet stone.
Dagger: He has an emergency dagger just in case strapped to his boot, in a scabbard of it's own. He doesn't usually use this, but uses a whet stone to keep it sharp nonetheless. Just in case.
ITEMS,
He carries with him a pendant that looks like it has a second half, due to having a knob on the back with scratches all over it. It looks like it can be screwed into something. On the front, there is a design of a dragon converging with a griffon, each blowing flames from nozzle and beak. He wears it around his neck always, it bears value to him, being his only family heirloom.
A waterskin full of water from the Fountain of Youth.

None for now, these will be filled as Rennal grows in character. (See history for more details.)

HISTORY,
Rennal always had the black hair of the village of his island, but unlike the others, he had light green eyes, amongst all the dark eyes that usually came with having dark hair. His mother had these eyes as well. He grew up with commoners turned noble that moved back to the island from Hyrule once gaining stature and money from being a part of the Hylian Knights (and saving up their salaries for years), and as such lived the noble life, being doted upon by servants, but he was also confined to the island, because his parents were discriminant of other races, believing that magic was a force to be feared, not gifted. As such, Rennal believes that magic is not in his blood and therefore, cannot be used. He didn't grow up around other races.
And when races did visit the island, they were usually chased away without a second thought, although as a youngster Rennal would often wonder why. As he grew older, training to become accomplished with the bow and blade, he finally discarded his doubts and decided that if they were being chased, there must be a good reason, something wrong with them.
When he came of age to represent the household, he took the pendant of the household and eloped against his parents will (who wanted to keep him cooped up and blind to the world). He hasn't returned home since, but he has been reported missing to the Hylian Knights by his parents (he sees missing posters up all the time and has to be careful about his identity as such, so instead of Rennal he always introduces himself as Iadar, a scholar of old in ancestry to his family, but pretty much unknown by anyone who doesn't have the interest and unforgotten knowledge of history that was imbued in him by his tutor, Calemar. Iadar was not a great historic figure, in other words.
His purpose in eloping? Sometimes even he doesn't know, but he usually gives the excuse “I want to better know who I'll one day be dealing with.” But that's not really true, he has no interest in taking over his family's household, despite being the only child. In fact, one might even think the real reason he eloped was to escape that fate, and find his true calling. He never really thought it or his own self through, and he often gets himself in trouble. But so far, six months in, he's evaded the Hylian Knights. So far...
EXTRAS,
Since Rennal is noble and directly associated with the Hylian Knights through his family, the Hylian Knights would obviously put him as a priority to search for on their list of duties. As such, it should be noted that any Hylian Knights in his area are on the alert for his presence and any possible giveaway to his identity should be taken into consideration by anyone else who may be playing a Hylian Knight. Just a note for anyone who takes a peek at this profile.
