APPEARANCE,

The doppelgÄnger has a unique look about himself, from the way that he carries himself to the way his complexion amplifies his almost surreal nature. From the white-blonde hair contrasting his red eyes, from his red eyes to his red getup, it wouldn't be hard to recognize this one from any sort of distance. That is, of course, if you're not looking at yourself.

When taking on the appearance of another, the transformation is a perfect replication of the living entity that he wishes to become. Some say the darkness around him covers all of his features only to mimic what it is that he so desires; others say that he's an omen, sent from who knows where to show others how they are going to die. No one can say for sure how long this creature has been walking amongst us, and no one knows what he may truly look like, for only brief glimpses of a man dressed in red follow any reported case of a death.

HISTORY,

The tale of a doppelganger remains a folktale to this date. And any doppelganger would seek it to be so for all of eternity. It was said that if a person was to meet their doppelganger, death would be the result. Although this is the myth, the doppelganger still seeks to remain elusive from the public as he is classified as a monster. The doppelganger has never been given a name, but he has lived for fifty years right under the noses of the very people who spawned the myth about his person. There are no ill intentions within the doppelganger to overthrow all that has been created – he enjoys the creation of chaos. He remains without loyalty as he remains elusive to find and even more difficult to come to terms with.

Haha, this could cause a massive amount of chaos on the forum.

I'll assume from the Pacifist status that you'll be adding no more abilities, my only issue is with the Racial itself. I'm considering all the negative impacts of the shape-shifting and I can't think of any aside from generally causing havoc as dopplegangers generally do. I was debating asking a limit of shifts per post or perhaps a limit of time spent in another form, but I'll consult with the staff before I force you to do anything.

Of course, that's fair enough. The only issue was to how much trouble your character could create through impersonation. Having thought about it myself, I personally don't have an issue, although other staff may do, but we can discuss that amongst ourselves. So, I'll give my stamp of approval for now.
