APPEARANCE,With a body that hasn't aged past ten Hylian years Soti isn't very tall. He has short, thin arms and legs but which do show the minimal toughness gained from living completely off the land. The Kokiri has both red eyes and short red hair which are much darker than the traditional Kokiri style. His face is child-like but confident, usually bearing some sort of reassuring grin and showing off his white teeth.
Like most children of the forest Soti wears a traditional garb of green. His tunic is green as are his shorts. Rather than the green pointed hat, however, Soti wears a matching-coloured headband instead. Small brown leather boots on his feet and gauntlets with fingerless green gloves on his arms complete the look. While traveling the self-proclaimed botanist also wears an orange cloak that covers his upper body and is tied only at the neck.
WEAPONS,As a Kokiri Soti has no ability to attack, thus no use for weaponry.

Soti has been writing his own book for years, recording all kinds of plants and flowers. Not just their names and appearance but other details like location, how they grow, their special abilities or anything else he was able to learn.
Deku Shield
A child-size shield made of solid wood. The Kokiri emblem is painted in red on the front of this item.
Deku Leaf
A large green tree leaf from the Sacred Forest that Soti carries around. He uses the large leaf both as a fan and as a parachute to slow falls.
Deku Flute
A short brown twig with several holes in it and an opening in one stump near the high end. The Deku Flute seems to have formed this way all by itself and works perfectly as a musical instrument.

Soti evokes the power of life and the forest wherever he goes.
Magic Slot: Sentry Flowers
Soti causes a waist-high(Kokiri waists, that is) flower with long, closed pink petals to grow from any solid or liquid surface in an environment. Once created the Sentry Flower will spit a shot of harmful green magic from the opening at the tip of its petals like a bolt from a crossbow. This will occur at the end of each of Soti's turns, targeting whatever the Kokiri designates through his magical connection with the plant. If no target is designated the Sentry Flower will save up a shot and release an extra one the next time it is ordered to fire. When firing multiple shots they come out in close rapid fire and all share the same target. Sentry Flowers lasts for 3 turns before the magic sustaining their growth runs out and must be replenished but Soti can also send them away whenever he chooses to. Sentry Flowers themselves can sustain Moderate damage before they are destroyed but will burn up and die instantly if dealt Fire damage. If a Sentry Flower has a stored shot in it the plant will release a small green shock upon destruction or manual dismissal(Though with this method it is optional), dealing one wave of Low damage for each stored shot to anything in close range of it. For every full turn left that a Sentry Flower could have stayed in action before it was prematurely dismissed or destroyed the ability's cooldown is reduced by 1 turn to a minimum of 1. The turn in which it was dismissed or destroyed does not offer any cooldown time.

Magic Slot: Guardian Flowers
Soti uses his magic to summon a scattering of multi-coloured flowers and petals in the air around him. The mass is not thick enough to obstruct view and they flutter about an area on intangible winds which keep them out of the way of any beings or any attacks that move through or around them. Whenever Soti commands it though the petals instantly congregate to one spot without the use of an Action Slot, sacrificing themselves to block any single magical attack that was launched. If intercepted, though, Fire magic will burn through the colorful flowers easily without impediment. The Guardian Petals are summoned in enough numbers to block up to Heavy damage so they can interfere with multiple attacks until that total limit is reached. If they intercept an attack they lack the numbers to nullify then the damage that attack can deal will be reduced by the amount of damage the petals could have potentially blocked. The Guardian Flowers will be unable to congregate in defence for at least 1 turn after each individual use of this power. Once they are all manually dispersed by Soti or destroyed the magic that summoned them will begin to regrow.

Floramancy
All Kokiri have an arsenal of abilities relating to their control of nature.
Nature Dependent
Spending his entire life as a child means that Soti is not the most skilful of fighters. As a result the Kokiri boy as no ability attack anything directly with his own body, at least not in any way that would actually cause harm.
Will of the Forest
Soti can only activate one Floramancy ability per turn, regardless of how many are available for use.
Plant Attack
The Kokiri child enchants a plant, be it a vine, nettle, whatever, into attacking for him.

Ensnare
Soti enchants a plant, again, any plant, into holding a target in place. This means that they can’t move in or out of range for 2 turns.

Vegetative Wall
The Kokiri summons some plants to form a wall that can take a total of Heavy damage before it breaks. The wall lasts for 2 turns and if it doesn’t receive Heavy damage in the first turn it can continue to remain active until it does (it can still take however much “damage” there is remaining in the second turn (e.g. takes Moderate damage on the first turn, can take up to 1 more Moderate attack on the second).

Overgrowth
Soti activates all of the Floramancy abilities that are currently on cooldown at once. Doing so doubles their remaining cooldown before they can be used again normally.

HISTORY,
Born from the Great Deku Tree like all Kokiri, Soti entered a life of peace and pleasure. Eternally young the children of the forest played together in their own cut off society, completely satisfied by what the Sacred Forest provided. After a few decades Soti began to take great interest in the forest itself, examining the many different plants that grew in it. An intelligent boy by nature he began to make records of the plants and flowers, keeping them for reference and teaching the other kids about any interesting discoveries or plants with special uses and how to take care of them properly. Soti himself saw learning how to care for it his way of repaying the forest for its plentiful gifts.
During his many research trips through the Sacred Forest and Faron Woods Soti made a remarkable discovery. it was something most Kokiri knew but he never fully stopped to think about before: The legendary Lost Woods had mystical pathways that led to many other places. It wasn't the other locations that interested him, though, but the fact that he caught sight of a flower he'd never seen before on the edge of the Woods near one of these special exits. Using these connections Soti was able to safely visit locations all around Hyrule in secret, seeing just enough of them from within the forest's borders to catalogue many new species of flora. Emboldened by these discoveries the Kokiri found himself wanting to find out more about other plants and flowers that lay outside his known realm. Ideally he might find ones that could be taken back home and cultivated in the Sacred Forest, both to enhance its beauty and to gain useful new tools as many of Hyrule's flora had their own unique uses.
After spending the required time recording what he had learned during his first trips Soti took time to prepare himself for a tough journey. With his faithful Fairy partner in tow the boy set out on a peaceful quest to enrich the lives of everyone in the forest and maybe share his own knowledge with Hyrule at large.
EXTRAS,
Soti's Fairy partner is named Mura. He glows a soft red color and always stays in his small winged light ball form, lacking any other special magic of his own. Mura is a bit nervous about danger since he lacks any special magic but Soti gives him plenty of confidence.
