People will only start to believe you're not who you claim to be when you get all defensive about your identity.
The reason the joke is so applicable here, is because you and Wilder went over this in your intro thread, thus the obvious choice in punchline.

With the Essences and the Harp of Ages/(Assumed)Rod of Seasons shown in the plot threads so far, are we meant to assume that the Oracle events have taken place already?
I bring this up in a thread about Ganon's involvement in the plot because if they have Ganon is already long dead since the whole point of those was to bring him back to life. That would mean he couldn't be involved, unless we're ignoring death of course. The bosses themselves would all be ignoring death, I suppose, but it would still mean Ganon had to have died. The plot setup only says that he was sent into the Twilight Realm.
So then, based on that, are we to assume that the Oracle events have not happened at all so Onox and Veran both have no history at all right now and are just alternate versions of the bosses from those games?
