Barely larger than a bug, Ruupa the Piccori sneaked his way across the the streets of Hyrule Castle Town. Following his kind's instincts to hide the feline-oriented creature stayed in the cracks of building foundations most of the time, too small to be noticed by the larger people. Eventually, after quite a while of searching, the Minnish found just what he was looking for: A busy street.
Ruupa smiled a cunning smile. He was quite pleased with himself, really. He might not hit the jackpot right away but eventually, if all went well, he was looking at a lifetime of leisure. Easy street was nothing compared to what he hoped to find in his future.
Ducking into some shadows the tiny teenager moved into an alley behind some large building and began to focus. His body became alight with blue energy as he tapped the power of nature, calling upon the predatory panther side within himself. As his form began to change, however, Ruupa clamped down on it's full force and aligned himself still halfway to his Minnish, more selfish side. Caught between these two extremes he successfully pulled off his own original technique: Halfshifting.
Emerging from the alleyway into the light was not a large light blue panther but a small light blue cat. It walked on all fours to the edge of the street and sat there, looking up at the people walking by.
"Meow," Ruupa would say before acting nonchalantly and cute. He was willing to be patient. Nobody might try to take him home as a pet today at all, as was his master plan, of that he was well aware. Still, this Fairy's Fountain place he was outside of was supposed to be a popular new restaurant in town. If he kept at it the Minnish who wished he were a cat was pretty sure he'd find a good mark or two eventually.

It was a rather slow afternoon in the Fairy Fountain Tavern. Not many people were here today. It's understandable that most people don't drink this early into the day. While working the tables and serving the few people who were there, Cheryl felt that she wanted some excitement. Of course she could get some any old time, by being Kinsley, the Bandit Queen. But as of right now, until night anyways, she is Cheryl, the lovable waitress, and/or maid of the Fairy Fountain Tavern. She changes jobs from time to time, to whatever has the most importance.
After she was done serving the customers, she decided to take a little break. Not because she was tired, but because that one guy from the 3rd table has been eying her funny. Yes, she is well aware of her attractiveness and likes the attention she gets from men who complements her, but this one guy has been harassing her for awhile. And if he doesn't stop, she might just pull her dagger out of her right thigh and threaten him with it.
But she didn't want to hurt business. So, she took off her apron and head to the door before sweetly saying to the bartender, "Hey, I'll be taking my break now, so I'll be back in a few~" while making the most sweetness tone in her voice before leaving out the door.
Once she set her foot out side and onto the cobblestone streets outside. She saw something that made her face turned into a bright red. It was sitting in not too far from the tavern and all alone. Out of all the many people walking about, no one seemed to care that it was by it's self. Without wasting a moment, she rushes to it, picks it up and held it close to the skin of her chest. She has proudly liberated a small blue kitten.
"Hello~" She said with actual sweetness, and not the fake type of sweetness in her voice like she did with the bartender.

Ruupa's keen feline hearing picked up the sound of Kinsley's steps accelerating toward him. By the time he looked up in her direction though he had already been scooped up and cuddled, a gentle greeting spoken to him.
"Meow," was his obvious reply. Ruupa didn't at all dislike being hugged and held, probably unlike most cats. He could hardly believe his luck, in fact. The cat who's life of luxury he'd based this entire scheme on was taken care of by it's owner's young daughter, so he'd been hoping for a girl to pick him up. It was in the middle of this self-congratulation on a plan well executed that an unwanted smell entered Ruupa's sensitive nose.
It was the smell of another Minnish.
The small cat, who's light blue hair seemed to positively shine in the light, looked up into Kinsley's face. Its questioning eyes, one green and the other purple, might have looked cute to her but they were actually expressing some worry. This girl had fox ears. He had hardly expected another Piccori to try to take him off the streets. Being the pet of one of his own kind seemed like it would be awkward, especially since it was far more likely that they might uncover his true identity... uh... somehow. Or could they? Unless he changed back or knew them from before that wasn't very likely was it?
While lost in these thoughts Ruupa failed to notice that he'd essentially become putty in Kinsley's arms, not fighting against her embrace in the slightest.

Despite being a mature woman in her mid 20's, she is somehow regressed back into a child whenever there are cute kids and animals around. She does feel embarrassed of this quirky trait of hers. In fact, she could sense the eyes of various people being placed onto her, as she interacted with the cat she now holds to her chest.
"Let's go inside, my new little firend.." She said, while looking down at the tiny kitten's mismatched eyes. She found them absolutely adorable. And so, with the kitten, she walks back into the Fairy Fountain Tavern.
[OOC: Sorry I took so long with this rather short post. Kind of a let down with all the time I spent not posting until now? LOL.]

Go? They were going already? Ruupa was pretty confident now that being the pet of another Piccori was a bad idea. It was the principle of the thing, really. Well, no. Actually it was because Minnish didn't tend to live in big houses at full size and take care of pets. That was the real issue. Once he realized that Ruupa was actually surprised that this girl was taking him at all. Was she one of those rare folk who decided to live among the bigger races at their own size instead of hidden away in nooks and crannies? If so maybe it wouldn't be so bad.
Well, it wasn't as if Ruupa could risk being too fussy and trying to get out of her grasp. He was well aware that his colour was rather eye-catching(He had hoped it would be a plus in gaining attention), so if he made a scene of being unfriendly but still showed up here every day rumours might start, delaying his plan even further. If he just went along with this girl and escaped if it wasn't what he wanted he could still show up later though, probably without any of the people around thinking of it at all given their busy lives.
Wait, were they going into the tavern?

Kinsley held the cat with one arm, while she open the tavern door with the other. The sound of the bell above her ranged as the door opened, alerting the people inside of her presence. The bartender wasn't there, he must of gone to take a break like herself. But there were still people sitting at the tables to be served, even that guy from the 3rd table was still there. They looked at her, expecting her to take their orders. She let out a small disappointed sigh. She had hope to feed the kitten and play with it, at least a bit. But duty calls, and is calling quite loudly, from the looks of the customers.
"I'll be right back to take your orders.." She said as she walked past them and toward the stairs. As she passed through the tables, the guy from the 3rd one, softly padded her behind. At this, she had the urge to stab the very hand he touch her with; skewer it through the palm. Like with all difficult customers, she tried to remain calm and collected; Plus fits of anger would make the skin faster to wrinkle.
She climbed the steps and reached where the rooms were. There were rooms for both customers and people who worked here. She of course, had her own room. It may not be much, but it is certainly good enough for her, a woman of taste. When she got to her bedroom door, she reached into the pockets of her waitress dress for the key, while still holding the kitten with her other arm. After she had opened the door with it, she got inside and places the kitten in on top of her neatly made bed.
The room wasn't big nor small, but it was rather cozy. Everything needed in a room was there; A bed, closet, desk, candle and a window. She keeled down over the bed, smiling sweetly to the blue kitten. "Alright sweety, I'll be right back, OK?" She said, while making a little wink to it as she finished her sentence. She rose up and left the room, locking it from the outside and headed back down stairs.

Oh... dear. Well this was a fairly unwanted situation. Ruupa had decided that this was the best street in town to look for an owner on. If he had to use his Minnish abilities to escape some Human or Hylian's house in the residential district and come back here then it just leaves a mystery. If he uses them to escape a fellow Piccori's locked room and then just loiters about right outside again then it might create suspicion.
He didn't want suspicion. He also didn't want the same girl picking him up over and over if he tried to escape but used the same street to fish for luxury-providers.
"Mew," Ruupa sighed. Such a simple plan had gotten way too complicated way too fast. His head was spinning with 'what-if's and 'how-to's. Well he wasn't going to worry about that! No, the best thing for him to do right now was... absolutely nothing.
The Minnish curled up on the bed and laid down to take a quick cat nap(That's not a pun, it's literal). The girl would surely return once her shift was done or whatever was keeping her. He could work out an escape route after that. Besides, sleeping all day was part of his dream life. This was a fine chance to warm up before the real deal.

Fane lowered his eyes and came around the corner of the bar. It was typically quiet, and he had been meaning to use the restroom for some time. He needed the Waitress Kinsley to watch the front for him as he took care of business. Coming around the corner, his brow narrowed and stared at the female as she descended the steps. He could of sworn she just went upstairs with some sort of creature, a small cat or dog or something. If Baal saw that, he’d probably freak. Then again, maybe not.
“Kinsley, did you just bring a dog up there?
He figured dog, due to the fact that he had a distinct indifference for cats. He wasn’t the biggest lover of them.

The sound of Kinsley's heels clicked against the wooden steps as she went down them, while in her mind she thought of all the things she would do with her new pet. Her rosy lips curved into a bright smile as she thought of random ideas be had for the cute little blue kitten, that is now safely locked in her room. She almost didn't notice Fane speaking to her and almost blowing her cover as Cheryl, the Waitress and sometimes the Maid.
"Awww.. Come on! Just because I swiped some bread off a customer's plate, doesn't make me a thief! Won't you ever let me live it down?"
She had a friendly tone as she spoke to him. But, however, in her mind she wanted to slap him upside the head for idiotically revealing her name she has while on her "other" job. She regrets ever letting him know about her "other" job. She then spoke to Fane, in a flirtatious way,
"So, your a dog person aren't you? Well too bad for you that, what I brought upstairs is much better than a dog. And I'll be happy to show later, if you want?"

Ruupa really wasn't kidding when he decided that he didn't want to risk suspicion by shrinking under the door and sneaking out. He was asleep and napping peacefully in minutes, unconcerned by the apparent setbacks to his plan so far.

Fane stared at her with a rather blank face before placing his hand on his forehead. He heard a tap and a call for the bartender, and before walking off diligently facepalmed. “I hate cats, and no, I’d rather not see it, and either would the boss, I bet.” She was lucky Owen wasn’t here either, this was a classy Tavern, not something for a cat. Then again, they’d all surprised him before, so what did he know.
Walking over to the counter, he grabbed a bottle of honey made black mead and poured it into a glass, serving it up. Smiling, he looked back and shook his head slightly to their waitress. Crazy times indeed.

Kinsl--Imean, Cheryl frowns at Fane as he told her his disdain for cats. As he walked off to make a drink for customer, an idea popped into her head. With the thought still fresh in her mind, she quickly goes over to the other end of the bar table where Fane was, and accidentally, knocking her elbow into the customer whom he served, causing them to spill their drink.
"How about we make a bet, whether or not our boss would like to keep the cat?" she purposed to him. "What do you say?"

Fane shook his head and his anger was being tempted. She nudged a customer, purposely, and now he had to clean up the mess. Where the hell the boss found this girl and why he hired her Fane could not tell you. She didn't take this job seriously at all. His weaponry was not allowed to be on him, considering its size, when he worked, but he did keep each flintlock under the table. Reaching down by them and grabbing a towel, Fane began cleaning the mess, apologizing for Kinsley.
"I got a better idea. Lets bet on a time frame of how long I last until I go up there and put a bullet between its eyes?" Fane was typically a pretty nice guy, and while his words were only half-serious, sometimes he could flip the lid. Ever since Valen was consistently in his head, his temper had gotten shorter, and he had become more extreme.

Althoughit looked like an accident, Kinsley purposely did knocked over the customer's drink. It was out of spite for Fane displaying his intolerance for cats. She had a smug smile, as she watches him wipe off the mess. She had felt a feeling of satisfaction while she watched him. That's right, you clean it up. she thought during that moment of victory.
After he was done, she still had that smile, until he made a threat on the cat she had in her room."If you try, you can just forget about sleeping. Forever." she said, while she glared her eyes back at his. Then shortly after her own threat, she puts back on her smile, so won't bring any attention to the customers. "So, how about that bet?" She asked him again since she wasn't sure if he answered her.

Fane sighed. "Don't threaten me Kin." Leaning against the counter, he checked the clock. Ten more minutes and he was out of here. Wiping down the counter and making sure everything was stocked, he thought about what she was proposing. Why was she so.....so...he couldn't describe it. She was carefree, and it pissed him off. Was it because his life was so stressful and he envied that? Perhaps.
"And go get rid of that cat. I have a job, and I don't gamble." He hates cats. They were dumb, as far as he was concerned, and disloyal. He may of been naive and dumb in this area, but his opinions stood firm with his stubbornness.

Kinsley pouted. "Come on. Can't you have some fun for once?" If there was one thing that bothered her most about him, was how much of a stick in the mud he was. With that attitude, It was no wonder that he wasn't popular with the ladies. As she thought about that, she had felt some pity for him. Despite him refusing her offer, she was still determined to get him to play her game. And she had only less than ten minutes to somehow convince him.
"Look. If you win, I'll do anything you want. How does that sound?" She spoke to him with confidence. As if, her desperate offer, wasn't going to cost her much.

Fane raised an eyebrow and stared at Kinsley with an odd expression on his face. That was a little extreme wasn't it? Fane was a strictly dog person, and he hoped the boss would refuse to let the cat stay there. Part of him felt bad about it though, as the girl really seemed to enjoy the creature. Why would she offer such a distinguished thing though? Shaking his head, he muttered how crazy she was under his breath.
"All right. You win, we keep the cat obviously. I win, and you do me one favor." He said, cleaning off a bottle and looking up to her. There was a reason she got away with bumping into customers around here. "Let me take you out on a date." He spoke with true confidence, unafraid of what she thought. He hadn't dated or seen anyone in a long time, since he was a teenager and his family...well, they became ill. Valen was always in his head as well, although he remained silent, Fane could feel his presence.

Kinsley giggled at the expression Fane gave her. It was a face she never thought to see from him. It was why she found it be so humorous. She could hear him mutter about how crazy she was. She was indeed crazy, crazy like a fox. Oh wait. She is one. She smiled, when he went over what they would win if either of them were to win the bet. "Yes, you got it right." she said, still smiling ear to ear. So much, she could make the Cheshire Cat jealous.
But then it disappeared, when he told her what he wanted if he won. "A-a date?" Her voice trembled, and she gave him an odd expression. Sure, she was asked out by men in the past, but refused them because they simply didn't interest her. But Fane, she thought he would be the last person to ask her out, due to his no nonsense behavior around her. But hearing him want a date with her now, made her feel strangely humble.
"OK. Deal!" Her smile and the confidence in her voice returned.

"All right." Turning around, he grabbed the employee papers and clocked himself out at the correct time. Grabbing his guns, he motioned for her to follow him upstairs. He had to change anyhow and grab his equipment. Walking up the stairs, he opened his room which was next to hers. Walking in, he left the door open for her. Removing the suit from his body piece by piece, he left the guns on the bed next to the two blades, one being larger then the actual bed.
Opening his closet in now only his boxers, he was the type of man who didn't really care who saw him half bare. Grabbing his pants, buckles, belts, and shirt and fur coat, he equipped himself fully. With the white fur brushing against his jawline, he exited the room and looked around. "Get the cat and we'll go find the Boss."

Her tail twisted and twirled about impatiently, while she waited for him to finish his clocking out procedure. Once he was done, she released a small sigh and followed him upstairs. She stayed close behind him as they walked together from the stairs to the upper floor where the rooms were kept. Her breath could almost touch the back of his neck.
When they got to his room, which was right next to hers, she stayed by the door, leaned with her back against the wall and waited for him to change. It awhile before she noticed that his door was opened. Her curiosity urged her to go and peek, and being a slave to her own curiosity, she did just that. She removes herself from the wall, leans in to the opened crack of the door. She immediately found herself looking at his bare body. Small giggles escaped her lips.
She quickly returned to her position leaning on the wall. By the time he came out, fully dressed, she had returned to her leaning position on the wall. After she nodded her head in agreement with Fane, she walked over to the door to her room, pulled out her key and opened the door.
