APPEARANCE,

Ruupa is a lean man who, like most Minnish, comes up a bit short compared to humans when in his larger form. Bearing the animal traits of a cat Ruupa has a long, straight tail and two high, pointed feline ears. Both match the teen's short cut hair in a very light and shiny blue color. Aside from the eye-catching hair Ruupa also has the rare trait of being a Heterochromic: The Piccori's left eye is green while his right eye is purple.

In his natural form Ruupa wears a sleeveless brown vest zipped up in the front with orange lining and loose blue pants. His shoes are dark green with orange wrappings, matching his fingerless gloves which are the same way. An orange flap with dark green lining that hangs down around his upper legs is tied around his waist by a brown sash. Ruupa's most interesting fashion statement is a tall leather headband with two hanging flaps on either side of his head. The flaps cover where his ears would have been if they were human-shaped.

Regardless of his form Ruupa's nails are long and sharp. His teeth aren't too shabby either.

Hanging on his right side from a belt strap is a bag Ruupa uses to carry anything he needs. Being a spoiled housecat that usually means it is empty.

ABILITIES,

Born To Be Wild
Since birth Ruupa has been far more in touch with his animal side than most Minnish, preferring to stay in that form whenever possible. Over the years he has grown into several methods of staying true to the more primal side of his nature.

Halfshift: By taking higher control of his body's transformational abilities Ruupa changes himself into a state that is somewhere between his true thumb-sized Piccori form and his true panther-sized animal form. That is to say that Ruupa turns himself into a small light blue housecat. While in this form Ruupa is quick and agile but completely lacks any real offensive power against monsters or warriors, unless he is allowed to claw at someone's face or bite their fingers, and is unable to use any other abilities. Ruupa is also unable to use basic abilities like guarding or dodging to protect himself(unless specific circumstances like hiding behind cover or very slow attacks make it possible), though he won't suffer any more damage from attacks than he would in his true form. By being in this state, however, all cooldowns for Ruupa's Shapeshifting Racial Abilities will count each turn as 2, allowing him to use them faster.

Primal Power: As a cat Ruupa's Animal Form is extremely quick and agile, comparable to smaller creatures. This enhances his speed in combat, giving him the ability to dodge the last physical or magical attack made targeting him with great physical prowess. This agility is a part of Ruupa's Animal Form, so in any other shape the Minnish can not use this ability.

RACIAL ABILITIES,

Shapeshifting
The Minish, more so than any other race, have control over their own body and its place in the world. Because of this Ruupa has the ability to transform in three different ways:

Size Shift: Ruupa can freely alter his size between two variables: His natural size of about the height of a Hylian's thumb, or a more common size for Hyrule's ruling races, if a bit shorter. Obviously Ruupa is incapable of combat against foes while small unless they share his scale. Size Shift takes time and focus so using it in the middle of a fight, unless it is to grow to join one, is hardly practical as being attacked would always stop the process.

Animal Form: Ruupa can fully take on the form of a large blue cat, similar to a panther. With it's considerable size and muscular form Ruupa's physical attacks do more damage on top of their usual strength. Being a cat, though, the Minish cannot activate any magical weapons or items while using this form(unless those weapons/items specifically allow it). Transforming does wear Ruupa out so he can only maintain it naturally for up to 3 turns. Only after changing back can he begin preparing to shift again.

Invisibility: Ruupa temporarily turns invisible, meaning the enemy cannot target him in the next turn; if he finds himself in an area-of-effect attack then Ruupa is still vulnerable, however. Meanwhile, a physical attack used while Invisible deals additional damage to the usual. Ruupa can only stay invisible for one round.

HISTORY,

Ruupa grew up in the Minnish Forest, gaining a small reputation for staying in the body of a large(For whatever scale he was in) blue cat whenever he could. The sounds and smells of nature were so much more enjoyable to him in that shape that he began acting more like a cat even while in his natural state.

When he was thirteen Ruupa's family moved to Hyrule Castle Town, hoping to cure their son of his apparent addiction to nature. They lived in the walls of a small house, acting very much like mice as far as the owners were aware of. It was during these years, however, that Ruupa got to observe animals in domesticated society: namely the owner of the house's pet cat.

Deciding that this life of luxury he'd spent three years watching the animal enjoy was exactly what he always wanted Ruupa set about becoming even more in tune with his wild side. By the time he'd mastered staying in the form of a small cat he was seventeen and old enough to strike out on his own, sending his parents back home to the Minnish Forest under the assumption that their son had gotten used to city life and was no longer hung up on nature.

Now all he had to do was find an owner and Ruupa's life would be set on easy street, or so he figured.
