Zect is very intelligent for a Hylian and many years ahead of his time in terms of maturity and battle experience. Raised in an aristocratic family lifestyle, Zect behaves with a proper and sophisticated manner. Even during the most trying of times he maintains a cool head. Upon your first encounter with Zect you'd almost think he's a member of the royal family. Zect is straightforward and rarely restrains himself.
Negative
Zect can be very cocky and full of himself, up to a point where it will annoy even the most ego driven person. Due to his upbringing Zect judges people by their social status and depending on your background will behave differently around you. It's not as though he thinks himself better than others, its just that he believes thats the natural order of things. His most awkward negative trait is his obsession with mask collecting. Always in search of rare magical masks, he will go any distance and do whatever it takes to obtain these masks.
APPEARANCE,
Zect stands at 6' 3'' with pure white hair that stands up 4'' in length. He has large blue eyes and light colored skin. He has a young mans appearance with an oval facial structure. His pointy Hylian ears are decorated with many earrings with even one pair connecting to each other with a silver chain that loops at the back of his head. Body type is well built and detailed muscular. On his back and arms are ancient tattoo designs signifying a thought to be lost Hyrulean tribe.
His outfit is tailored to fit a pirate theme. From bottom up he wears a pair of black boots that rise up to his shins and flap over, a pair of dirty grey pants with three black leather belts that are loosely worn around his waist, a black tunic with the royal Hylian Knights emblem in the center worn over a white long sleeved button up shirt. Often times Zect will wear a red pirate trench coat unbuttoned with the collar flipped up.
Accessories include rings on each finger with one covering his entire left index finger, loads of leather wristbands, a white scarf wrapped around his neck, and a black and red scabbard for his sword.
WEAPONS,
Pirate sword - Zects primary weapon which is a cutlass around three feet in length. Although it appears lightweight, the weapon itself has been modified to be very thick and sturdy weighing almost fifty pounds. The grip is red with a silver pommel and hand guard.
Ancients Sword - An old Bronze Age sword Zect discovered and restored a while back. Entirely metal it has a green colored coating and used as a secondary weapon should he ever lose his normal sword in combat. An ancient relic from before Hyrule ever became a kingdom it contains written text from a lost tribe inscribed in the swords blade.
Grenadoe - a smokepot grenade which is a round case iron hollow ball the size of a baseball. Inside the hollowed balls would be gunpowder mixed with painful shrapnel for small puncture wounds. The overall range from these weapons would be 10 feet from the impact blast and another 10 feet from the sharp fragments. Zect carries 2 of these in a brown leather bomb bag.
ITEMS,
Grenade Bag- simple brown leather pouch meant to hold Zects Grenadoes. Holds up to a MAX of 2 Grenadoes.
Rupee Pouch - another simple brown leather pouch for holding extra Rupees.
Treasure Chest - Zect Primos most sacred item. Within this chest holds the worlds most miraculous treasures. Far more valuable than gold or jewels, it contains items of extraordinary power that Zect has collected over the years. No one but Zect knows what's inside.
ABILITIES,
Mark of the Beast - A magical demon mask that looks like the head of a black haired wolf. When worn the person turns himself into a dark beast that looks similar to a cross between the legendary Keaton Fox demon and a Wolfos. Speed and strength are doubled but only for a limit of 5 turns. Player must wait until their magic is replenished to use it again which takes five turns.
Villains Shadow - A demon mask in the form of a dark helmet When worn the player loses all sense of self and turns into a fully armored knight of darkness. The player dawns a dark armor that protects them from physical damage. The armor only lasts for a limited amount of time.The normal time limit for the mask is 5 turns each with a cooldown of seven turns. Should the mask be taken off before the limit is up the cooldown will decrease to the amount that had been leftover (example 3 turns will add to a 5 turn cooldown).
RACIAL ABILITIES,
Magic Superiority
A lot of talk goes around about the genetic superiority of Hylians, but in actual fact they’re relatively frail compared to the other races in terms of physical attributes; the difference is not extreme, but is just noticeable. They are, however, very gifted in terms of magic, and their abilities are better suited to general use than other, more specialized magical races. All Hylians are not the same: there are three separate magical powers, of which a Hylian is born with one:
Magical Guardian: All magical damage the Hylian receives is lowered (decreased by a half-level), and they gain access to a Magic Block, which mimics the regular block save that it blocks magical damage instead of physical. While using Magic Block, all damage received that turn is treated as magical damage.
HISTORY,
Zect was born and raised by a wealthy Hylian Noble family. Growing up he had everything anyone would want in life. Endless wealth, power over the masses, all the best food, and never having to lift a finger in your life. While this was indeed a good life where Zect himself had no complaints or plans to abandon it, there was still something that he wanted that he knew his family's wealth wouldn't be able to buy. This was the power of the gods.
Oh sure everyone knew of the tales of the three goddesses and the Sacred Realm which contained their essence. But what very few knew or even remembered were items of even greater power which could turn you into a deity yourself. What amazed Zect even more was that such miraculous treasures existed in their world.
After spending a decent chunk of his family's wealth on libraries of scientific and mystical research, as well as hiring the tools and manpower it would take to go and find such items, Zect made his first discovery. A tale of long ago that spoke of several dark masks created from powerful but evil entities by a dark and ancient tribe for wicked torture but were eventually destroyed by the masks powers.
With this knowledge Zect decides to leave his cushioned life and go search for these masks of power. Changing his name to protect his families good name, he becomes a pirate outlaw.
However since he lived a very carefree life he easily loses almost all of his items to various 'real' pirates who took advantage of his wealth. Luckily using his wits he managed to keep only his most valuable treasures which were his magical masks.
These experiences did however help Zect break free from the sheltered bubble he had lived his entire life, opening his eyes to what the world was really like. Now a whole lot wiser than before Zect continues his journey in search of the demons masks.
His first task is to find a loyal crew and a boat.
EXTRAS,
In his earlier travels Zect came across many types of masks although none were the masks he had been in search of. However these masks while completely worthless to him prove to be somewhat useful.

Mark of the Beast A few things.
1. For a starter ability, we can't let your attributes be tripled (especially for 5 turns). Doubling however would be fine.
2. What do you mean by the player needing to wait until their magic is "replenished"? Does that mean that it's a once per thread use? If not, we need you to specify a cooldown.
Villain's Shadow You need to specify a cooldown period for that after it's been used. Typically, a cooldown of turns used + 2 turns would work for this type of ability (1 turn used = 3 turn cooldown, 2 turns = 4 turns cooldown, etc).
Grenadoe Could you limit that to two maximum? It's just that they're fairly powerful as explosives and we're still sorting out technicalities with such and until we do that, we're limiting the power of explosives.

Fixed although I want to argue that having only two bombs is extreme. It wouldn't benefit having only two bombs in a thread especially in a dungeon setting where if you play any Zelda game, many secret areas and enemies involve the use of many bombs. I'll cut the amount to five instead if it helps.

Villain's Shadow You've put in that the cooldown (if used for 5 turns successfully) equals the amount of time that the mask has been worn (so 5 turns would be 5 turns cooldown). You'll need to implement this one, which is one that other people are also using:
Grenadoes I actually consulted your grenades with Wilder before I put the first reply in regarding the amount of grenades and we both agreed that 2 was a fair amount to start off with until we decide what's happening with modern weapons on the forum. An explosive weapon is fairly powerful, especially with the total blast radius your grenades allow you.
Sorry, but I'll have to ask you to limit that to 2, only for the moment. As I said, we're discussing weapons like guns and grenades in the Staff area and the likelihood is that you'll be allowed more when we've finished discussing and balancing out the weapons to find fair limits (which should be shortly).
