Rennal reined his rented horse (stable at the Castle Town) into Kakariko Village, a solemn expression on his face. After all that he'd been through, maybe the little folk in Kakariko could offer him some warmth. He tied his horse near the waterfall pond and headed into town on foot.
He looked around. Small but quaint, he thought. Not what he was used to at home for sure, but then again, he'd been on the road for months, and he'd gotten used to the cold treatment.
He stopped in front of the item shop to browse, hoping he would find something that would help on his journies. He had only a few rupees, so he had to make them count.
