APPEARANCE,Layla is around average height, standing at around 5'5". She has all the characteristics a Gerudo should have, dark skin and gold eyes. Her flame red hair is exceptionally wavy and mostly worn down around her face. When she chooses to hide it, it's covered by a hood. The top of her right arm is tattood with the Gerudo symbol.
Her body is lean and toned thanks to her extensive training regimen. Little is done to mask her strength, for she dresses for comfort. Her clothing reflects her color preference. She wears a black top with a purple gemstone in the center of her chest that keeps the lower half of her torso exposed. Attached to said top is a hood that also contains a scarf to partially cover her face. For pants, she has the traditional balloon pants in the same black as her top. The center band around her waist is also decorated with a purple gemstone. Her shoes are simple black slippers with no decoration.
WEAPONS,Bow
Layla possesses a nifty bow that is built to handle her strength. The resistance the bow provides coupled with her strength, Layla gets ample range and speed. She carries it, along with her quiver of arrows, on her back when at all times.
Dagger
For emergency close range combat, Layla also carries an eight inch dagger. It is, by no means, meant for extended combat. It's more used to get her out of a troublesome situation.

Slung over her back, used to store the arrows for her bow.
Each member of the crew is given a crystal necklace known as the Pirate’s Charm. If a member of the crew speaks the name of a crewmate into the stone they will be able to speak to each other now matter how far apart they are. Also if a member of the crew calls to the Defiant the message will reach the Communications Master via the Gossip Stone on the ship. As well as being able to contact individual Charms, the Gossip Stone can also send out a message to all the Charms simultaneously (generally in the event of an emergency).
ABILITIES,
Assault
With lightning speed, Layla retrieves three arrows from her quiver. The arrows can be meant for up to three targets, and have twice the speed as normal, making them increasingly difficult to detect, much less dodge.

Stealth
Being the sneaky sneak she is, Layla is able to sneak away from sticky situations. Given the correct circumstances of course. Ie, in a forested area, in the dark, etc.

RACIAL ABILITIES,
Dodge: Completely avoid one physical or magical attack without moving in or out of range. Three post cooldown.
Beguile: Amassing the Gerudo’s feminine wiles, the target loses the ability to physically attack (loses one action slot) for two turns. The Gerudo King can also use this ability; he, however, relies on sheer machismo to achieve a similar effect based on intimidation. 4 post cooldown.
HISTORY,
Born and raised in Gerudo society, she was trained to be a thief and warrior. Unlike most in her specific family, Layla had a strict affinity for archery. Everyone else had skills that lied specifically with swordsmanship, so it was odd hers didn't quite match up. Odd though it was, no one really minded. She was trained in archery, and turned out to be quite an exceptional archer.
After aging past her teen years, Layla was selected to help train other Gerudo women in the ways of archery. She happened to be an excellent teacher, especially since she managed to learn new tricks on her own. During the years she taught archery, the skills of the young Gerudo under her wing flourished greatly, even if their intentions were only to learn the basics.
Since archery isn't good for independent combat, she was trained to use daggers effectively as well. It's not quite as good as her archery, but it definitely has helped her get out of bad situations.
Following her time as a teacher, Layla enlisted in the Gerudo Military. Her focus and determination allowed her to rocket right up to the rank of General. She is currently on duty aboard The Defiant alongside the Gerudo King, also serving as one of his advisors.
