ALLIANCE, Princess Midna, always. PERSONALITY, Chataya is the stark opposite of her twin sister. She is brooding, morbid, and hates most people. She is very untrustworthy, and doesn't trust in others... except for Princess Midna and Alyaya. With them, she trusts too much. She's rather obsessive about these two, and will protect them with her last dying breath. Anxiety attacks are abundant when she is alone, or in this case, when Midna or Alyaya are not around her. When they're around, Chataya is rather catatonic. She doesn't talk much, her movements are slow and sluggish, and she doesn't participate in anything her sister does. It's when the two are gone that you should worry. When by herself, Chataya is violent and morbid. She gets frantic and destructive in her quest to find her sister. It doesn't matter what is in front of her, she'll swing her sword at it. Taya has a fascination with blood, so if she does cut someone, it's really the only way to calm her down without her sister. The color entrances her, quite like what pink does to her sister. It always makes her want to roll around in it, to taste it... Does it taste like strawberries? Cherries? Taya lusts to find out after blood is shed. Most of the time, her mood swings do not get that far, for Taya and Yaya are never apart for very long. Call it sister's intuition or something, I dunno. To sum it all up, Chataya has some issues, and they are only suppressed (sort of) when her sister is around. APPEARANCE, One thing her sister and herself share is looks. If you were to look at the two, if they were wearing the same clothing, it'd be hard to tell them apart. But for simplicity's sake, Chataya dresses fairly different from her sister. Her look could be considered "gothic", with lace decorating black and dark grey dresses. Around her neck, she wears a thick, lacy choker with one solid black ribbon around the middle. Attached at the front is a rose emblem. Chataya has hair just like her sister; it is hot pinkish red and is up in two drill-like ponytails. Around the bands that hold her hair together are two decorative strips of ribbon, with a rose on top of her ponytail, and little skulls at the end of the ribbon. Her dress is short, and reaches her thighs. It hangs off of her shoulders. There is a thick strip of fur that circles around the hem of the top of her dress. For shoes, she wears long combat-like boots, heavy duty and thick with large soles. Occasionally she will wear stockings, but most of the time, her legs are bare. She is not as petite as her sister. Chataya has a rather feminine frame, with some slight curves, and she's still growing! With her boots, she stands at around 5'5" though without them she is only an inch taller than her sister, at 5'3". † alternate outfit † WEAPONS, light's bane rapier She stole this rapier only a few years ago. Though clumsy with it, due to no training, she is getting better at slicing chairs and things? She can choose for it to not have any abilities, or she can attack with it like a normal sword. ITEMS, Roses! ABILITIES, poison blade magical Alyaya has the ability to heal. Chataya has the ability to take health away. Her blade is infused with poison, which she can launch at someone just by swinging her blade when activated. The poison is rather strong, and leaves the opponent feeling weak and quite helpless while it is in their system. The poison takes one post to cast, and it lasts for two posts. It takes another three posts for her to be able to throw poison again. dynamic duo magical When around her sister, Alyaya, the duration and cooldown for her poison switch places. Instead of lasting two posts, the poison will last for three. It takes only two posts for her to be able to cast her poison again. shadow veil racial The Twili can choose to occupy any shadow, taking on an incorporeal form. This means that the Twili is essentially removed from combat, so they can’t do anything (or have anything done to them) in terms of fighting. They can also teleport freely between shadows, but doing so has a three post cooldown in battle. Entering or leaving a shadow takes two action slots, and doesn’t apply to the last turn (i.e. you can’t slip into a shadow after the other guy has fired off his doom laser. You take that hit. It’s the ones afterwards that you avoid). This ability can’t be used in beast form. shadow beast racial Chataya's shadow beast is not too beastly, but it is dark, so it still fits her. Her beast is a dark feline/lupine hybrid with glowing spots on it. The spots glow different colors, mainly a bright blue like most Twili and a bright pink (to please her sister). She can remain in this form for 2-5 posts, with a cooldown of two posts plus the amount of time spent in the form. HISTORY, At a young age, Chataya and Alyaya T'sulos were orphaned. Not much is known about their parents, like where they went or why they left them, but Chataya never wished to know. As long as she had Alyaya by her side, life was grand. Alyaya took up the motherly role while Chataya just plodded along, following her sister like a lost pup. Though one day, she really was a lost pup. The two were in the marketplace of the Twilight Realm, when they got separated. Alyaya tells her it was because she saw something pink, and while understanding, Chataya flipped a tit. She had no idea her sister was not following her, so she just continued to delve deeper and deeper into the large bazaar. When she noticed her sister was gone, Chataya grew anxious and nervous. The crowd was making her go crazy! Just as she pulled out her rapier to cut through the crowd, to find her sister, a hand grabbed her fist. It was the Twilight Sovereign herself! There was something about that woman that made Chataya feel at ease, so she put her sword away and followed the Princess around until her sister was found. After that day, the Sovereign took the two orphans in and had them work around her palace as servants of sorts. Chataya couldn't be... happier? Whatever it is the catatonic chick feels.
