PERSONALITY,
Yaya is an interesting girl, to say the least. She's cheerful to a fault, and she's about as energetic as your average Jack Russell on Red Bull. She's always smiling or laughing, and she's quick to call any and everyone her "BESTEST FRAND EVARRRRR"... even her enemies. She's a girl filled to the brim with love for pretty much everything; she's passionate, obstinate, and devoted to her cause. She thinks that Midna is the best thing that ever happened to her, and if she ever hears anyone insult her favorite princess... well, that someone is gonna get an boot up their arse.
She seems unable to keep still, and if she isn't running around, then she's either dancing, prancing, frolicking, glomping, tackling, snuggling, nuzzling, clinging, petting, patting, rolling, twirling, spinning, falling, or all of the above. And that's just to the average Joe on the street... imagine what'll happen if she adores you.
She's inexplicably obsessed with the color pink, if that hasn't been made obvious already. She also loves everything she considers to be cute, especially people... and if she finds someone that she thinks is just plain adorable, she'll cheerfully kidnap them and dress them up in cute pink clothes. Yaya's not ashamed to do anything to get what she wants, and one of her best techniques is bursting into tears. Only the cold and soulless can withstand her heart-wrenching sobs, although they're quick to fade once they agree to whatever it is she proposed...
Yaya also has no sense of modesty. She'll strip in front of a room full of people and think it's perfectly normal, and she has no problem barging in on someone while they're changing or showering or what-have-you. This goes for men and women, in modesty and love. To her, when she loves someone, gender has nothing to do with it. Only their cuteness level does~
She has a self-sacrificial nature, and if she can give herself up to save someone else (especially her sister!), she'll do it. Only because she loves them so much~
APPEARANCE,
Alyaya is a petite girl, standing at a mere 5'2"and weighing only 103 lbs. However, she makes up for her small size with her massive hair; it's bright red in color, sometimes appearing to be pink, and is tied up in twin tails styled to look like drills. Her eyes are the common crimson of the Twili, and she has the same blue skin as the majority of her race - although, admittedly, her skin is a very pale blue in comparison to most.
Even though Yaya loves pink, she's convinced that she looks terrible in it; thus, she tends to dress in greys with pink or red trimmings. Her main outfit consists of a sleeveless dress with detached sleeves and thigh-high boots.
WEAPONS,
Yaya's not a fighter, so she generally doesn't carry weapons around. But she does have a small dagger hidden in her right boot for emergencies~!

ABILITIES,
Shadow Cure
Your basic Cure ability with a bit of a shadowy flair~ When cast, it can heal either minor, moderate, or major wounds. The cooldown depends on the severity of the wound being healed. Minor wounds have a one-round cooldown, moderate wounds have a two-round cooldown, and major wounds have a three-round cooldown. Cooldowns apply only for the type of wound being healed. (i.e. after healing a minor wound, she may heal a another minor wound one round later. After healing a moderate wound, she may then immediately heal a minor wound if she so wishes.)
In LS style, minor and moderate healing both take up one action slot, while major healing takes up two.
Dynamic Duo!
When around her twin sister, Chataya, the cooldowns for Yaya's healing ability are decreased by one round; minor wounds have no cooldown, moderate wounds have a one-post cooldown, and major wounds have a two-post cooldown.
RACIAL ABILITIES,
Shadow Veil
The Twili can choose to occupy any shadow, taking on an incorporeal form. This means that the Twili is essentially removed from combat, so they can’t do anything (or have anything done to them) in terms of fighting. They can also teleport freely between shadows, but doing so has a three post cooldown in battle. Entering or leaving a shadow takes two action slots, and doesn’t apply to the last turn (i.e. you can’t slip into a shadow after the other guy has fired off his doom laser. You take that hit. It’s the ones afterwards that you avoid). This ability can’t be used in beast form.
Shadow Beast
Yaya's shadow beast form is admittedly... not very shadowy. She looks like a pink cat/dog/fox hybrid, with a tail that splits in two at the tip. She also has a red gem embedded into her forehead in this form. Her Shadow Beast form can last from 2-5 posts, and the cooldown is two posts plus the amount of time spent in the form.
HISTORY,
While Alyaya's life has not exactly been... conventional... nor has she been unhappy. She's always had Chataya by her side, after all~! Well, most of the time, anyway, but we can get to that later. Yaya and her (younger!) twin sister Taya were orphaned at an early age, and as Yaya is the older twin, she felt it was her duty to watch over her sister. After she discovered that Chataya was rather wild when she wasn't around, Yaya became even more devoted to taking care of her. Taya wasn't going to get into trouble while she was around, no sir~!
But, of course, after Yaya was distracted for only a moment (by something pink, of course), she turned around and Taya was gone. Predictably enough, Alyaya flipped her lid, and she spent what felt like forever searching for Taya - only to find her with the Twilight Princess herself, Midna. As it turned out, Princess Midna had found her first, and had taken Chataya in to work for her. Once Yaya arrived, she was offered a position alongside her sister, which she readily accepted.
And... that's about it. She's currently situated amongst the staff of the Palace of Twilight along with her sister, Chataya.
