Ayameru Crossfire
Temperamental Flame
RACE,Fairy
GENDER,Female
BATTLE ROLE,Healer/Melee DPS
BATTLE STYLE,Casual; LS/Story (if required)
AGE,Nineteen
ALLIANCE,Chaotic Neutral
PERSONALITY,Upon the surface. She's bright, upbeat, and a bit on the arrogant side. She's not afraid to take up a challenge - let alone speak her mind, which has a tendency to lead her to mishaps, and trouble. She only has enough patience, but even that tends to wear thin when people push her buttons. Aya is a bold young lady, and has a voice that could make anyone cringe under.
Temper, temper. The dominant emotion that makes up most of her personality is her fierce temper. Rage blinds her from reason and she can hold quite a grudge against anyone - friend or foe - for long periods of time. When enticed, she won’t back down or give mercy towards those whom bear nothing but trouble for her. Trying to calm her down is like trying to put out a forest fire with kerosene. When in rage, Aya doesn't cool off that easily, and it usually follows up with more depression. You wouldn't like her when she get's angry.
Immature. Very. Doesn't really know when to grow up unfortunately. She loves making mischief, and her pranks knows no end. From time to time, if she's angry at you, she might show it in her pranks, and they can become very spiteful.
Temperamental. It tends to be difficult to figure out what mood she's in due to her unpredictable nature. She tends to grow very moody, and broods a lot when her guard is down.
Manic-Depressed. One moment she can be feeling upbeat and ready to take on anything, accept any challenge from any opponent at any given time and place. Then the next moment, you’ll find her sulking and growing very depressed, hating a lot of things but directing most of that hate towards herself, believing that there was so much more that she could have offered to make some situation better for herself and for the people around her. Her emotions can change quicker than a summer rain.
Insecure. She's not comfortable in her own skin. She wants to change herself into a more appealing girl to everyone around her. The young redhead's temperamental complexity tend to worry her at times because she doesn't like feeling lonely. She tries her hardest to keep her temper under control to the best she can so she can put up a front. Friendly, kind, and generous is what she wishes to be, and tries to put that front up as much as she can.
Sweet. To those who can crack her shell. Affectionate, kind (perhaps a little protective) and fiercely loyal to those who earn her trust.
APPEARANCE,Hair. Aya's soft straight hair cascades all the way down to her ankles. Her bangs are heavily uneven with one piece bigger than the others residing right in the middle of her face, while the rest shapes around her head. Her hair possesses a deep fire red color, which shimmers within the light of the sun. So vibrant shade of red, it is as if one could touch her hair and actually feel warmth emanate from it.
Eyes. Within Aya's burning fire eyes, her eyes possesses three rings of color around her pupils. The outer ring which hangs out outside of the iris is a molten yellow, which glimmers subtly like little sunlight within the day. The middle ring is a blazing gold color like that of magma flowing out from a fierce volcano. The innermost ring which resides right next to her pupil is a vivid orange, like the heart of fire, which burns at it's brightest.
Skin Complexion. Thanks to her fairy heritage, Aya is slightly tanned. While not completely sun kissed from head to toe, Aya has just enough color, giving her a bit of an olive-tone complexion.
Body Build. Her body build is just slightly above average; although she isn't heavily muscular, her body is toned in all the right places, with the strongest parts being her arms.
Clothing. Aya's attire mainly consists of a white blouse tied together with a small ribbon, with her bottoms covered up with a mini-skirt. On her feet, she wears thigh-high socks, and a pair of brown boots. At times when she wishes to hide her wings away from public, she puts on a long black overcoat.
Distinct Features. Besides her blazing hair, and matching eyes, Aya possesses crimson transparent fairy wings. Over the years, they have received tatter and tear, now looking like butterfly wings after a escaping from a bird's talons. Many mistaken her for a very pale Gerudo, that is, until her wings are noticed.
WEAPONS,Dread Burner. Aya's weapon is a bit on the eastern theme as far as looks goes. It's practically a nodachi, an abnormally long, two handed katana. At the butt of the weapon lies a dragon symbol engraved with cloud-like designs.
ITEMS,
[/blockquote]Pendant. Aya wears a glowing oval-shaped, dark purple pendant, held together with obsidian black chains that seem pretty much big around her neck and hangs all the way down to her chest. Within it’s glowing light sparkles a beautiful light that splits into many mini lights of fire.
ABILITIES,
Cure. Naturally, as a fairy, she possesses an extension of her white magic. Healing should come to no surprise It heals most wounds, including internal wounds such as broken bones, internal bleeding, etc. With it, she can heal all but mortal wounds (an arrow or sword to the chest, arrow or sword to the head, etc).
In LS terms: Cure has 2 Levels of health restoration, with a cool down of 2 posts.
Fire. After poking her nose into a magic spellbook, and reciting an incantation, Aya can ignite a flame with a snap of her fingers. Passively, she can lit up candles, lanterns, camp fires, etc. Or she could pull up a small orb of light to illuminate dark places.
In battle, it is a simple magic spell where Aya conjures up a fireball the size of a basket ball in her hands, and projects it at her target. Damage wise, if you get hit, you'll get burn. The severity of the burns aren't life threatening (unless you so happen to be Deku, or covered in gasoline). Fire does moderate damage. She can shoot up to 3 fire balls which requires afterward a cool down of 3 posts.
RACIAL ABILITIES,
White MagicAll fairies have some degree of control over a naturally abiding white magic, powered by an internal source of energy. This passively allows all fairies to fly about, and has other uses as well. Each turn, fairies can consume one action slot to charge up a single unit of white magic energy. That energy can then be spent in one of a few ways (each of the following actions also require one action slot): they can spend one point to heal one level of damage, deal one level of damage, prevent one level of damage in the next round of battle, or switch into a white ball form. In that form, the fairy is extremely agile and can’t be harmed by physical damage, but also cannot use any offensive skills; it costs three levels of energy for the fairy to change back, and they are automatically knocked out of the white ball form if they take more than two levels of magical damage.
HISTORY,
Born within the Sacred Grove in the Faron Province, Ayameru was the ninth daughter, and twin sister to Delanie. Aya was nothing more than a carbon copy of her eight elegant sisters, who sported long flowing scarlet hair and flaming bright eyes. It was tough growing up with eight identical sisters. As you can imagine, growing up without a face of your own could strike up a complexity of sorts. Having to look at the mirror, and only seeing your eight sister's reflection was not something that pleased the fireball.
Interesting enough, her twin sister, Delanie looked nothing alike. Her parents concluded that Aya and Ani were fraternal twins. The young fairy was blessed with the looks of distant relatives on their mother's side, which explained the difference in the twins. The tenth sister sported a soft shade of starlight, and eyes that shimmered a gentle ember. While growing up, Aya doted on her twin sister, Ani could always tell the difference between Aya, and their older sisters. Nothing could separate the two while they frolicked, and played together.
Ani was the sole reason she managed to get through her childhood with a mild sense of sanity. Never did she recieve any praises on her looks or graces (or even there in lack of graces) that all of her sisters had. No matter how hard she tried, her parents didn't see the individuality that Aya tried to display. She was nothing more than a shadow of her sisters' glory. Her sisters weren't exactly boastful or malice to the youngest who looked like them, but they never truly considered her apart of their group of beautiful, and elegant group. Ani was different, she was loved by everyone, and accepted for radiance she was born with. Aya didn't mind if she was the twin who was, whom she thought to be, the princess of the family.
By her adolescent years, she turned rebellious, making frequent skips out of learning the art of healing. Rather, she snooped around and got into spell books, learning that there were other uses for magic rather than white magic. Of course, Ani disapproved of Aya's erratic behavior, but could not stop her with her. What sparked her interest actually was fire manipulation, and after many practice runs, she learned on her own a single fire spell, and how to control it passively.
It wasn't until then that her parents finally noticed her, and patronized her for breaking etiquette. Outraged by this outlandish accusation, it wasn't until all of the anger, and pent up frustration all came out at once, like an active volcano that exploded from being locked up for many centuries. After a mouthful of venom, and a bitter farewell, she took off to find her own individuality. Ani followed behind, despite Aya's protest, never wanting to leave her sister's side. So... there lies the beginning of her adventures, a new found wanderlust took over the fairies as they start their new lives and adventures throughout Hyrule~
