Piper Thimble is a rambunctious, kind girl with kleptomaniac tendencies. She is known for her immediate friendliness and optimistic perspective. She originated from Peak Province, being the youngest of the Thimbles and the only daughter. She had an older brother known as Sage Thimble who, despite the common traits of a fox, was honest and good like she. As they grew, he stole her away to keep her from the bad influences of their parents. He raised Piper himself but by one chance of betrayal and horrible misunderstanding, Piper lost his trust, never to see him again. She now travels along, in search of him and hoping yearningly to earn his trust back.

Chapter I, SILVER AND COLD.

Piper's first adventure begins as she is traveling back to her homeland, Peak Province, in search of her brother. While trying to search for food, Piper runs into her very first encounter of a friend, Noah Griffiths. She joins him on the journey of searching for his sister, Leia. On their way to the market, Piper steals from a Monster known as Kane Armada, who, by a series of unexpected events, joins them on their journey for no reason. While these three travel together, Piper begins to recognize more and more; she fancies Kane! She also begins to recognize Noah becoming the role of a brother she had sadly missed. They continue their journey in search of the lost siblings.

Ria Hartshire was the first born daughter of three into the Hartshire family. She was trained to be proper for motherhood and even engaged to a man known as Adair Le Mort, a wealthy man with a strong name. Being a prearranged engagement, Ria refused to marry him and ran away to start a life of her own, with her own decisions. She was brought up to be a very charming and polite girl, who holds high expectations of herself. She believes strongly in the opportunity of passion, love and most of all, freedom. While most have a goal in their journey, Ria has none to speak of. She merely wants to live a heroic life and make close friends to keep.

Reina Ivorin is known greatly for her slightness. She is shy, drawn back but very well educated and almost considerably philosophical. She comes from an adopted family of her uncle, who trained her to be the nanny of his children after his father’s death. Her uncle left on a journey, never returning, leaving them with an ill mother who eventually died from an illness. At that point, the children and Reina were taken by an aunt, who casted Reina out for her age, leaving her only enough for food. Reina took off on her own and now travels, looking to become a poet or a writer. She also looks for someone who might embark on a great journey with her.

Reina has gotten herself lost in the Faron Woods, in the middle of the night, where all her nightmares seemingly come to life. Trying to chase away the fear, she begins to read alone when suddenly, a young man known as Jaden appears out of nowhere. Reina is immediately drawn back from him, fearing for her life.
