Rwaht liked to come to this lake, sometimes, to rest. It was one of the few places he actually liked, with its pristine waters stretching out before him. He was sitting by the beach, watching the waves lap against the shoreline. His sword was resting on the ground next to him, in case he needed to use it. He liked the lake, but he knew that monsters sometimes came this far out. And it'd look pretty pathetic if the Praetor, leader of the Sentinels and guardian of the unfortunate, got an arm bit off by some roving monstrosity.
He liked watching the water move, while the world was quiet. There was the occasional chirping of a bird or chitter of some small creature, of course, but it was mostly peaceful. It reminded him of an earlier time, when he'd been young, and his life had been simpler. Weirdly, the thought intruded on his mind that he hadn't seen his sister in years. He wondered if she came here, or if she even could.
He shook his head, and bid those thoughts away. He was trying to relax, and cheer himself up. He didn't need to dwell on the past.

Nothing could beat the refreshing atmosphere Lake Hylia brought to weary travelers who cross the distance to gaze upon it's clear blue beauty. Sitting on the edge that distinguished the border between the water, and land was none other than the kitty Minish. Her eyes captivated by the moving fresh water fish swimming across her view. Moving in sync every time the water dwelling inhabitant made a sharp turn swimming in a school of it's own kind. It looked so nommable! She couldn't wait to sink her fangs into it, and eat it raw.
Raising a paw up, she waited, and waited, and waited. Patience was something she had plenty of, and so she kept her body ready to claw up a snack for the afternoon. Her adorable magenta eyes were so concentrated it almost look out of character for her to be so focused. "Heke? Oh look! Stranger!" she meowed, totally directing to the new presence she discovered. She prompted herself up on her feet, and approached Rwaht, and flashed her bubbly smile. "Hello there~!"
Swaying her tail from side to side, always in motion, excited, she was completely in bliss of ignorance. Seyka did not fail to stay true to herself, totally directing her attention from grabbing an afternoon snack to Rwaht.

If there was one thing that Rwaht needed, it was to be cheered up.
If there was also one thing in all Hyrule that was guaranteed to cheer nearly anyone up was a bubbly cat minish about fourteen grades more cute than is typically considered safe. Rwaht noticed her after a while and watched, resisting the urge to laugh, since he felt that might offend her. But it was almost so cute that it was funny how much she acted perfectly like a cat, who happened to be able to speak. He felt a brief, nightmarish urge to knock her into the water purely for comedic relief. But that would be a dark thing to do, and Rwaht was enjoying his lighthearted day.Sorry, couldn't resist. Eventually, the Minish noticed him as well, and Rwaht couldn't help but laugh as she bounced her way over towards him. She all but made it impossible to brood. She could have been the UnBrooder, which sounded a great deal less innocent than it actually was, so that nickname was probably best left unsaid. When she introduced herself, Rwaht smiled, and actually laughed again as she swayed back and forth, apparently absolutely unable to sit still for any one time. Rwaht only said simply,
"I'm Rwaht. And who might you be?" Rwaht tended to default to humour when meeting people, but again he felt as though his typical dry sarcasm mightn't be just a little wrong here.
She was just so damned adorable.

There was a force at work here. A force so strong that it should be considered magic to a certain degree. She could swear that being adorable was it's own super power with the way she's able to charm her way into getting a smile out of him. Not that she minded one bit~ That was the point after all.
It took a lot more muscles to frown than it did to smile so it was a healthy habit to keep in mind. The eternally bubbly wild cat was pleased to hear that natural laugh escape from his lips even if she didn't get any jokes that might've crossed his mind. No fair! I want in on the joke, she whined mentally. He better not be laughing at me...
She quickly changed her thought process - girl couldn't keep her attention on one thing for long - turning back to the gentleman who returned her greeting. He didn't seem at all oppressed by her approach, which made it all the better for the kitty Minish. In fact, he returned the friendly approach. In a way, she felt like a child the way she was approaching this, perhaps she was a little on the childlike side, but that was only enhanced by the fact that she looked quite young for her age. Hopefully by the end of the day, she'd make a new friend! Yaaaay~!
"My name's Seyka, but you may call me Sey Sey," she introduced herself. She placed her hands on her hips, and leaned forward, getting slightly close to Rwaht's face. Personal space? No such thing to the kitty cat girl! Tilting her head ever so slightly to the side, she quirked up an eyebrow before flashing a toothy smile. Her feline fangs were not entirely intimidating sight to behold. Remember this is Seyka we're talking about~ She's not a fearsome creature (unless you feared cuteness, then you'd be pissing your pants right about now). "Now why are you here by your lonesome self? Doesn't that get boring sitting here with no one to talk to?" she started her string of questions.
Seyka fit the bill perfectly of a typical cat. Curious to a fault~

Rwaht was an extremely capable man. This was important to him.
He had spent most of his younger life learning how to make weapons, how to maintain them, and how to fuse magic into their metal. Then he had spent years learning how to wield them, how to turn them from deadly pieces of steel into precise tools of battle. He had learned how to fight, how to wound, and how to kill when need be. He had spent years more learning how to manoeuvre through the gross political monster that was the leadership of Hyrule, and he couldn't tell which one was more difficult.
And for all of that teaching he had no bloody idea how to react to the condensed, living, breathing form of cuteness that had manifested before him. The sad thing was he didn't have a whole lot of experience dealing with people who were just genuinely nice. When she introduced herself, Rwaht couldn't help but laugh.
"May I? Sey Sey it is, then," he said, grinning. She leaned forward and he raised his eyebrows a bit, bending backwards just a little. He didn't have a big thing with personal space, but apparently the cat girl wouldn't have anything to do with it. When she asked her questions, he smiled and shrugged his shoulders.
"Not really. The time to think is pretty nice. I work a lot," he explained, tactfully leaving out the sleepless nights and neverending days. He didn't like to complain.

Most of Seyka's life had been playing out in the woods, being active, and overall living life to the fullest. Everything changed rather quickly as she got older, experiencing the tragedy of losing her father, and later on, her mother in the process. Two years she spent dedicating her life into the arts of healing, and the fruits of her labor were the results of two handy spells should the need arise that she should use them.
She hoped that by doing this, and learning more as she carried on in life, she'd be doing a favor for the lives she could not save earlier in her life. How to cope with the stress of being on her own, a stray cat, out in the big world of Hyrule.
His laughter was full, and filled with merry. It brought the bubbly cat girl at ease glad that she wasn't a nuisance to him. Her approach was a bit forward for the most part, but her honesty was earnest, and hard to contain. She backed up slightly to give him a bit of room, no doubt, she took him by surprise. Not a lot of people liked having their personal space bubble busted. The cat girl had quite a knack for breaking them.
Her kitty cat ears perked up at his response. Thinking? What was there to think about on a nice day such as this one? A sly grin formed upon her feline lips. "All work, and no play makes one absolutely... Rwaht-ten," she teased, followed by a burst of giggles. Don't you just love play-on words? Especially with names~
"What kind of work do you do?" she said calming down from her laughing fit.
