Titania moved ahead of the pack, turning to address the group. She put her hand up asking for them to stop.
"Soon we will enter the heart of the ruins. You may touch, but I ask that you don't remove anything. These ruins are old, and some things are better left where they are. Second, a large amount of energy has been dispersed in this area recently, so if you begin to feel a bit woozy I can help with that. That being said, we will now enter the old ruined temple. In case of emergency, fluffy kittens will be deployed to distract you while the problem gets solved." She laughed at her own joke and moved some branches out of the way, allowing entry for the human and the hylian. She could tell Kay wasn't feeling well, so a special eye would be kept on her for safety purposes.

Jin blinked as Kay spoke and simply gave her a smile and a shrug. "Nothing might actually be up at the moment, but the fact that you two are entering into the ruins with such a serious air around you two can only make me feel like there is. I tend to have a good nose for adventure too. If I am wrong, then no harm no foul. Though I might leave here in a little bit of a sour mood." Jin added, rubbing his chin and just wondering what might not happen.
He was brought out of his thoughts when Titania, playing tour guide, put her hand up to stop him and Kay. While he wasn't much for moving around old stones and such, the idea about some sort of event that released energy made him a little more excited. What could of happened here? Did it have something to do with that burst of light from a while ago? Was the place charged with magic? Where would Titania get fluffy kittens at this hour?

Fluffy kittens? Of all things...although Kaythenia's thought process about small, fluffy felines was soon put to rest as she entered the main temple. The decaying walls still stood and light shone through parts of the roof, dappling the forest floor beneath their feet and giving a somewhat eerie atmosphere. Kaythenia couldn't explain it but the air felt...thicker in here, like it was charged still with the energy that Titania had previously mentioned. She raised her hand and moved it through the air before her, feeling a tingle even beneath the leather of her gloves. Something had definetly happened her, something of great power. The Magess in her felt it's remnants immediately, it explained the chills that had been plauging her on their approach. Briefly she glanced back over her shoulder at Jin and Titania, trying to gauge if either were having the same reaction to the energy in here as she was. Outwardly she couldn't feel any sign and her dark blue gaze scanned them. Once again she felt that internal pull further into the ruins and carried on moving.
'What is this?'
The ruins opened out into a courtyard area, small but open to the skies. The sun was well and truly up now and Kaythenia shielded her eyes with one hand until her eyes grew used to the glare. After being beneath the shelter of the trees, gradually the Bard lowered her hand and looked around. It was a circle of pillars with a stone flooring, obviously undisturbed by human touch. Carefully Kaythenia stepped down, her boots clicking upon the stone as she ran her hands across the nearest pillar. The rough stone grazed her fingertips, it was blackened in a few places and upon a closer look were several of the others. As if they had been burnt. She glanced back over her shoulder and called out to Titania and Jin, suddenly feeling like she did not want to be alone here.
"Titania, Jin...I think you need to see this."

Obviously, there were no fluffy kittens. Although having made the joke Titania really wanted a fluffy kitten to pet. But that was neither here nor there as she examined the ruins. She had been around here before, right after the surge. She and others examined the ruins, but the energy left over ws all they found.
As she examined parts of it previously unexamined by her eyes, she heard Kaythenia call out to her and Jin. "Coming" she called back as she made her way to where Kay was standing. As a reflex, she first eyed Kay before turning to the pillars.
"Stone pillars, organized, still seemingly in place. With burn marks. Fascinating, but it doesn't seem particularly noteworthy. Or am I missing something?" She ran her hands along the stone floor, not finding anything of note other than the lack of human contact this particular area had.

Jin could feel something different about this area then when he had visited before. The air felt... thicker. It was definitely a strange feeling, almost as if Jin was floating in some sort of faint pool of water. The ruins themselves where quiet and pretty uninteresting, though Jin himself continued to look around, trying to figure out what was interesting with the area. He really couldn't see too many interesting things so far.
When Kay called out to them, Jin looked over in the direction in which the voice came from and he hurried after Titania, walking into the area and looking at the different pillars that seemed to be in the shape of a circle. He walked over to them and looked at how the burns where around the pillar. "So... what do you think happened here? Was it a fight?" He asked, looking over at Kay and Titania. "Or something worse?"

"So... what do you think happened here? Was it a fight? Or something worse?"
Kaythenia closely observed both Jin and Titania's responses, it seemed that neither were picking up that odd feeling that was sending chills through her and a faint sense of nausea. Surely they had to feel something? The Bard had started noticing it as they drew close to the Ruins but now they were in the heart of the area the sensations were becoming far more prominant, far more real. Something had happened here, something with power involved, Kaythenia knew she could trust her instincts on this one. "I feel something..." She stepped slightly closer to the centre of the courtyard to get a better view of the markings on the pillars, like standing back to view an impressionist painting. Disturbing some of the dust that coated the floor like a blanket, sending it swirling about her ankles. Suddenly a sharp pain coursed through the back of Kaythenia's eyes and she flinched visibly as it spread from her eyes, all the way to the back of her skull, the young woman raised both hands to clutch her head as if to stop it from splitting. That was when she started hearing it.
"For the safety of Hyrule and her people you are sentenced to be stripped of your powers and put to Death for your crimes."
"This is all but a farce and you know it! I did nothing to betray this land or it's people! You just want power! It's all you've ever wanted!"
The first voice was man's, cold and cruel as if he were relishing every word that slipped across his tongue, like a fine wine. The other voice was a woman, slightly shrill and fire blazing from every part of her voice. Each word made Kaythenia feel like she about to be violently ill, she staggered backwards, directly into the centre of the courtyard. As her body touched the middle the dust was violently blown aside and what appeared to be part of what was once an sigil marked circle carved into the floor was revealed. What lines were unbroken began to glow faintly red, then quickly brighter, flashing violently and sending shadows dancing across the pillars. For Kaythenia being in contact with it felt like being struck by lightning, in a panicked need to fight back she concentrated what power she could manage into several large blasts of fire, sending them out in various directions.

Titania could tell Kay was struggling with something. There was a surge of energy in the area but it wasn't from the initial surge that occurred during the calamities.
"You all right Kay? Something is reacting with you." She watched as Kaythenia began to struggle. Something wasn't going well here, and as the runes began to glow she slowly moved back, taking Jin with her. She must have hit something that triggered some latent magic. Titania didn't understand, and part of her wanted to pull Kay from it. She began to step forward slowly, extending her hand. But her actions were met with fire, and Titania had no choice but to dodge. She barely made it out of the way from one of the blasts, looking back to make sure nothing was lit on fire, especially the trees. Some were singed, but the 3 of them were in enough of the clearing to prevent any wildfires.
Kay! Calm down!" The next chance she got Titania rushed at Kay, tackling her and taking her away from the center sigil, hoping to alleviate the pain.

Jin watched, almost helplessly as Kay seemed to suddenly be struck with pain. Something was happening too her, and from the way that she had been walking around the area, it seemed to be the cause of it. The way she clutched her head made him wonder what it could possibly be wrong with her, since he only felt the thickness in the air around him. What ever was possibly happening to her seemed to only get worse though, as Kay stumbled and the ground started to glow red. Flames were shot out from Kay almost in a defensive motion, and before Jin could go to help her, Titania was already there, pushing Kay out of the circle.
Jin rushed over to the two and noticed that Kay still seemed to be in pain, even though she was no longer in the circle. The air around him, he could feel that it was getting hotter, almost painfully though. "We need to get away from here, this wasn't enough." He said, picking Kay up and heading out of the area with the Pillars and into the open area of the ruins. "Kay? Are you alright? Kay? Kay?" Jin called out, hoping that the woman would recover from whatever was hurting her.

"You all right Kay? Something is reacting with you...Kay! Calm down!"
We need to get away from here, this wasn't enough."
Kaythenia could hear Jin and Titania's voices but they seemed far away and somewhat jumbled, she couldn't concentrate properly on what they were saying. The overwhelming feeling of panic and fear had taken her over, there was the sudden impact of a body forcing her away from the circle. She hit the stone floor hard but it still felt as if the heat was flooding through her veins in place of blood and the splitting pain in her head did not cease. Even without the Magess' precense upon it, the circle and it's sigils continued to violently flash and glow as if it sensed she were still close by and wanted her to return to it. Kaythenia could not lay still and continued to move and thrash around, both hands still clutching her head as if it was the only way it wouldn't split in two. She felt a pair of foreign arms around her, cold in comparison to the heat burning away inside her and lift her up off the ground. There seemed to be a sensation of movement although the young woman kept losing track of what was going on around her. Although suddenly the heat seemed to be starting to fade and gradually she came back into herself, the splitting head pains were reduced to a dull throb behind her eyes.
"Kay? Are you alright? Kay? Kay?"
Slowly she opened her eyes at the sound of her name and looked up at Jin who was bent over her, Kaythenia didn't quite understand how she had made it from the courtyard back into the main area of the ruins, it took her a few moments to gather her thoughts...even though some of it was still rather jumbled in her mind. One thing did spring clearly to the forefront of her thoughts though and she grabbed Jin's arm, panic evident in her face. "I didn't hurt anyone, I didn't kill anyone?!" her voice was tight and strained, she seemed to be dreading the answer.

Titania immediately called forth her magic, her hand glowing white as she almost thrust her hand upon Kaythenia's head, using her healing magic as quickly as possible to try and ease the pain and get her to calm down. She continued to assist Jin in carrying Kaythenia, but he seemed to have her well in hand and she was just making sure Kay was supported and not dragging any of her body.
"Kay, are you having visions? You're ok, it's just you me and Jin. You haven't killed anyone." True she knew she had killed before, 4 years ago. But that wasn't her fault, it was obvious she had panicked, the energy surge was telling of that. But right now she needed to make sure Kay was going to recover. "We're here to help you. No one is accusing you of causing harm." Titania had some questions, but Kay needed to be fully aware of herself before anything else was done.

Making sure Kay was put down safely, Jin smiled and did a little twirl and patted his chest. "I'm alive and just fine, so lets worry about what happened to you back there." He said, trying to be positive, though he was a little worried that she might freak out again as long as they were in the ruins. Jin hoped that Titania's white magic would help out Kay somewhat, since he wasn't sure that Kay was experiencing actual pain or the mental block pain.
"Visions? Where you Kay?" Jin asked, looking at her, hoping that she was going to be ok, but curious now as to what she might of had visions about. "How about we move a little bit further from this spot and maybe share a little bit of sweets to help us relax a bit?" Jin suggested, glad that he happened to have a bit if candy from his visit to town the day before.
Jin had to check something though, and he moved back toward the area with the pillars, though not all the way over. From what he could tell, the lines on the ground weren't glowing anymore, but he didn't want to risk getting closer, unsure what would happened if anyone else walked around there now. "It seems like whatever it was... is over for now."

"Kay, are you having visions? You're ok, it's just you me and Jin. You haven't killed anyone. We're here to help you. No one is accusing you of causing harm."
Kaythenia felt the cooling sensation of Titania's hand upon her forehead, the dull throb of the left over headache began to slowly ebb away under her care and the heat which had seared her veins slowly cooled, returning back to her normal body heat. Her breathing was slowly returning to normal from it's laboured panting, the young woman felt mostly normal now. Although extremely drained from the whole experience, whatever that might have been. It felt jumbled up, there were images but none of them seemed to be in any kind of coherent sequence and voices she couldn't put faces to. Were they Titania and Jin or something else? Kaythenia felt Jin lower her to the cool stone floor of the main area of the ruins, her head still spinning from the experience despite Titania's healing magic taking away the majority of the pain.
"Visions? Were you Kay? How about we move a little bit further from this spot and maybe share a little bit of sweets to help us relax a bit? It seems like whatever it was... is over for now."
The young woman couldn't bring herself to look at Jin or Titania when he queried that, she turned her attention to studying the cracked stone floor instead, hugging her knees to her chest. Kaythenia didn't want to talk about what had happened back there or answer any questions about anything, she just wanted to curl up and sleep the dizzy sensation away, forget about it all. But it seemed that wasn't going to happen anytime soon. The thought of food turned her stomach at this point in time and she buried her face in her arms, shoulders trembling.
"Just let me get out of here..."

Titania nodded. Kay was returning to a degree of relative normalcy. Good thing too, this area was more heavily wooded, so she could do some real damage with uncontrolled fire magic.
"Good. Jin, I want to take Kay to the palace. She can rest there, and maybe we can get some insight into what just happened. It's not far from here. Kay, how are you for walking? Do you need us to help or can you manage? Either way, we should get going. We're not going to accomplish anything staying here." She started to move forward, indicating to Jin to help Kaythenia if she wanted it.
"If I were serious before, this would have been the time when fluffy kittens would be deployed."

Jin nodded his head. "So we head over to the Palace, enjoy sweet food, and hold kittens. Good ideas all of them, so lets get going now then alright?" Jin said with a smile and a turn, offering his hand over to Kay. "We can do this one of two ways Kay, and you have the choice." Jin said, his voice serious as he stood over her. Granted, he wasn't actually serious in this entire thing, but right now it seemed like Kay needed to relax just a little bit, so foolishness was needed.
"So! You can either get onto my back and I carry you to the fountain, or I can help you too your feet and we can carefully walk to this Palace that Titania has. It will definitively be much better then here, though I have no idea what will be waiting for us there." He said with a grin. "We will eat some sweet foods and enjoy the peacefulness."

Do you need us to help or can you manage? Either way, we should get going. We're not going to accomplish anything staying here."
Kaythenia listened to Titania's words, she approved of leaving this place for now, she felt thoroughly shaken by the experience to her very core. The air around her still felt electrically charged and uncomfortably warm against her gradually cooling skin, she wasn't sure if Jin or Titania could sense it or if it was something only she could feel. The bard was hesitant to ask about anything, thinking about it was making her feel quite ill even though the whole experience was a jumbled mess inside her head. She still didn't move from her spot on the floor, her face still buried in her arms, gloved hands gripping her bare knees and making pink fingermarks with the force of her grasp. As if she were trying to hold herself in, then the sound of Jin's voice made her look up and noticed he was offering a hand to her.
"We can do this one of two ways Kay, and you have the choice. You can either get onto my back and I carry you to the fountain, or I can help you too your feet and we can carefully walk to this Palace that Titania has. It will definitively be much better then here, though I have no idea what will be waiting for us there. We will eat some sweet foods and enjoy the peacefulness."
Neither of those were a pleasing option for the stubborn Magess who at this moment did not want to be touched lest he notice the heat still radiating from her skin, Kaythenia would rather keep both Jin and Titania at arms length in a very literal sense at the moment. She did not give Jin eye contact and carefully got to her feet, it felt as if her kneecaps were loose springs that would not fully support her. As she took a step she stumbled and narrowly saved herself from falling over by placing a hand on the ground to steady herself just in time, squeezing her eyes tightly shut out of the frustration of it, she hated feeling helpless at any time. It reminded her too much of being around Davik but in this case she was going to have to do this another way. It was glaringly obvious she was not going to be able to walk without assistance.
"I'm going to need help..."

Titania smiled. Kay certainly wanted to be independent, but couldn't. She was a strong-willed woman, an admirable trait. However, with the energy around Titania's magic likely wasn't going to help her get her balance. Her problems seemed to be just as mental as physical. She really needed to rest.
"Jin, you support Kay. I need to go ahead and prepare for two guests. The grove is just ahead, go straight down this path and they should let you in. They'll know you're with me." She spread her wings and flew off towards the palace to prepare. She really enjoyed having guests.but she also preferred to have happy guests, and these were tense times. She had to make sure they left in better shape than they arrived.

When Kay rejected his help, Jin shrugged and took a step back, crossing his arms over his chest and waiting for the progression of the three of them to continue. Kay was a strong woman, but she was a bit too stubborn at times, or at least that was what Jin was able to guess from the brief time they had been together this morning. Maybe she was just having an off day, with the magic ground circles, the fire shooting, the flash-back induced head-aches. Heck, for all he knew, Kay was actually normally a nice person, it just that they had met at a bad time.
He snapped back to the situation around him when Kay spoke about needing help, and Jin offered a kind smile and walked back to her side, offering her a hand once more. "No need to be so strong, you've had a rough morning." He said gently. He turned to Titania and nodded his head, giving her a brief salute and paying attention to Kay once Titania flew off. "You hear that? She went to prepare things for our arrival, so we must not keep her waiting. Just walk in a straight line for a bit and we'll get there, no problem." He said, not too sure why he kept talking.
Maybe it was that the silence was a little too much for him to handle right now, but he just felt like he needed to talk, even if Kay didn't feel particularly up to talking back to him. "And hey, who knows, there just might be fluffy kittens for us too." Jin joked, hoping to make the woman at ease somewhat.

Kaythenia watched Titania fly off, supposedly to prepare for them at the Grove but prepare what was the question that was on her mind...The Fairy seemed trustworthy enough but Kaythenia did not give her trust over to anyone easily, it had to be earned. But for now her options were somewhat limited, she was completely drained after the events of this morning and needed somewhere safe to regain both mental and physical stability, being exposed to that much magic was a strain on the body and mind, whatever that circle was...it felt familiar. But from where? The bard closed her eyes as a brief throb pulsed through her head as she wracked her brain, perhaps it was best to leave such thoughts for now. She could still feel unnatural heat radiating from her skin, a draft that whistled through the temple made her shiver at the difference in temperature and snapped back to reality. Noticing that Jin had walked to her side and once again offered her his help, as much as she loathe to accept it, she needed it.
"No need to be so strong, you've had a rough morning. You hear that? She went to prepare things for our arrival, so we must not keep her waiting. Just walk in a straight line for a bit and we'll get there, no problem."
Hesistantly she rested her arm across Jin's shoulders so that he could help her walk without risk of falling over, he would probably be able to feel that Kaythenia was still unnaturally warm after her encounter with the circle. She didn't comment about there being no need for her to be so strong, of course there was a need. But for now Kaythenia would be grateful to be out of here. "Can we just go, please?" She spoke quietly, not giving Jin eye contact, locking her blue gaze directly ahead.

Jin carefully supported Kay with his own body, slowly walking her out of the ruins and straight, just like the Fairy Queen had told them too. He could feel the heat coming from Kay's form, wondering if all of the fire she had expelled before had overheated her somehow. "I think that you might want to drink something nice and cool when we get to the Palace, your pretty warm right now, in fact... you were warm back at the pillars too." He said too her, not liking the silence.
"Anyway... lets just get you there and then we can... well... we can try to figure out what the hell actually happened... because it was the first time I've ever seen something like that happen. Are you still hurting?" Jin asked, not looking at her but straight ahead, not wanting to get turned around as they continued on their current path through the forest.

"I think that you might want to drink something nice and cool when we get to the Palace, your pretty warm right now, in fact... you were warm back at the pillars too."
That wasn't normally, usually the use of pyromancy did not involve this strange kind of after reaction, this strange heat radiating from her body. Kaythenia tried to push it all to the back of her mind for the moment, for now she just wanted to get out of the ruins and to somewhere safe that she could rest, hopefully to sleep this and the tiredness off. The slight breeze which whistled through the ruins, rustling the branches of the trees nearby was a pleasant relief. When Jin spoke, the Bard didn't give any reaction of having heard what he said or attempt to make any response. Kaythenia simply carried on her steady pace to get to Titania's palace...but it seemed that Jin was not a great believer of the term 'Silence is Golden.'
"Anyway... lets just get you there and then we can... well... we can try to figure out what the hell actually happened... because it was the first time I've ever seen something like that happen. Are you still hurting?"
Kaythenia sighed, it seemed she wasn't going to get away without speaking until they reached their destination. She decided that a neutral response would both answer his question but put a halt on any others he might ask. After all, her business was her own.
"No, I'm not and I don't know what happened back there."
Perhaps a little brusque but getting too chatty would lead to alot of questions that Kaythenia didn't feel like answering, normally she would do a far more charismatic job of disguising it but with how she felt currently that just wasn't going to happen.
