The sun had set, and Nixes was truly relieved. During his travels Nixes had come across a man with wings. Intrigued and fascinated by this sight, the assassin couldn’t help but hide within the odd creature’s shadow, doing so without its knowledge. As he more or less hitchhiked, or rather stowed away, he had ended up in this city floating in the sky. Stealthily he left the winged man he had traveled with, not that he knew anything about the event. He was very excited to see such a new place; he did not however take into account the sun. The ball of flame was so much closer, and Nixes had less to block it off. Even his cloak was doing too little to avoid the burning rays.
So for many hours he was forced to lay low, taking shelter within the shadow of a nearby shop. It was not only a waste of his time, but rather humiliating, being forced to hide from the realms harsh light, as if he was some sort of rodent. None the less he was now allowed to explore the land mass floating in the air. It honestly reminded him of home, but it was so very different. An example would be the harsher winds, but this bothered the Twili not, having an infinity for high winds, finding it rather bracing,
Though it was hard for Nixes to hide his excitement, he was also wary. This place was rather hard to venture too; he wasn’t sure how welcome he would be. He actually wasn’t certain how he would leave, but that was a worry for later. As for now he would draw his hood, as not to attract any unwanted attention, and venture too whatever seemed similar to a town square. While he was a bit worried about the people who lived here, his curiosity could not be slated with mere conjecture, this was an evening for adventure.
