“Damn her, jus damn her to bloody hell.” Nixes muttered to himself, his large ears flicking with rage, as he bared his fang like teeth. “Up and leaving me like that, what does she expect me to do? Run the realm? I’m not a politician! It’s not like we’ve had any military conflicts to be dealt with. So I’m of no use as a commander, which more or less leaves me as her bodyguard. And she up and vanishes!” The man stomped on the beaten path ranting to no one other then himself, walking a bit more to the side to avoid the sting of direct lunar light. “I swear, when I find her I’ll take off her legs, maybe then someone can keep track of her for longer than five seconds!” He continued to vent and let off his steam, but sighed, knowing even that wouldn’t slow her down much. Were he to go through with removing his sovereign’s legs, she would most likely double her efforts to be elusive, and taunt Nixes for it later.
“Still, I’m the Assassin, and I will fulfill my duty as such…. And part of that is tracking. I know you came this way Midna, and when I find you…” Nixes clenched his fist, feeling determined. Though if he was being honest with himself, he didn’t know how to finish that sentence. He wasn’t sure what he would do to Midna should he find her, but for the time being it was all he could do. There was no task back within the Twilight Realm that was of enough importance for him to stay. The only logical thing to do was to leave for the realm of light to assist lady Midna, if he could locate her.
Of course while he felt it necessary to voice his grievances, that time was over now. For he had finally found a point of interest. A Ranch somewhat outside of a nearby village, though he wasn’t really sure about the area, a ranch being something he had never experienced before. As he entered the perimeter he was quiet. He didn’t know what to expect in this realm, let alone this new place. From his observations he could tell this was a place of work, rather than a residence. He could also guess that the staff was no longer in attendance. But he couldn’t help feeling that there was a presence lurking all the same.

Little worm crawling on the ground, Who gave you permission to come here? Nightmare wasn't really sure why he was staying. He had actually come to check up on Ordon ever since the attack by the Drosslord, to make sure it was recovering and hadn't been attacked again. In the process, he made his way into the barn. It had been twice now that he had saved the province of Ordona. The first time was driving Vaati out and the second had been destroying the Drosslord. He had noticed that as of late, Ordon had been having some really bad luck. Then again, it seemed the thing was shared with Faron, as some swamp... thing had attacked that recently, and had been previously been attacked by a large man in a suit of armor. He was doing his best to keep track of everything that was going on. Though really, it might have been because nothing could spoil his night. He was thrilled to admit that for the first time in a while, he was actually in love, which had even blossomed into a relationship. Ironically enough, it was with the approaching Assassin's princess. Though really, he didn't know that. All he knew was that he was happy, he was in Ordon, and that the goats were getting restless around him. Right. He had forgotten about the goats, they were also such a problem for him. Though the reason would be both frightening, and yet strange, call it animal instinct, if you would. Problem is the goats knew he was a dragon. He wasn't sure how they did, but they could see right through his shell and see him for what he really was. He was just glad they couldn't talk, otherwise secret would be out that he was a dragon. Though it was this shell that allowed him to blend in with society, and what would keep the approaching assassin from seeing a giant 40 ft. tall dragon in the ranch. Said dragon noticed the assassin coming into the ranch, and figured he could at least see what was going on. Walking out of the barn he calmly looked at the young man, curious as to what his purpose was. "Yo." He called out.

Nixes took a light step back, a little surprised. He was not accustomed to being noticed so easily. It gave him the distinct impression that this person was someone more than the norm. He was about to step into the open, though he was distracted for just a moment. The odd creatures, the goat seemed to be rather in distress. Though Nixes was confident they weren’t all that dangerous, they were unsettling. Though it was also his impression that he was the one “spooking them” rather then Nightmare.
“Well… you’re rather friendly to someone lurking around in the dark.” Nixes spoke, walking into the open, not seeing any ill intent, and not wanting to foster any of his own towards the stranger. He wasn’t feeling all that trusting, but he also didn’t want to engage in unnecessary conflict. As he stepped into more visible lighting, he couldn’t help but size the man up, still having an odd feeling, but not seeing anything amiss.
“This may seem like a rather…. Odd question, but you wouldn’t have possibly met someone, similar to myself? They happen to be female and my employer of sorts…” Nixes spoke rather plainly, perhaps seeming a little cold. He wasn’t really sure how to deal with this stranger from this new realm, especially one with such an odd air about him. But hopefully his all business approach would be satisfactory. After all, when it came to leads on his princess, an unusual stranger in the middle of the night was actually a fair place to start.

Little worm crawling on the ground, Who gave you permission to come here? Perhaps that was true, perhaps he did seem a little too friendly for someone that might have owned this ranch. But that was the thing, he didn't own the ranch, and he didn't own these goats. If he did, then they wouldn't be getting so worked up over the fact that he was merely around him. "They're not mine." He shrugged as he explained. Really, the assassin could kill the goats right here, and he wouldn't really care, as they wouldn't stop getting worked up. He was starting to wonder if they would actually end up drawing out some of the farmers and ranchers, and turning this whole thing into something much bigger than it actually was, or what Nightmare would let them see. Though his eyebrow quirked as the man walked into more visible lighting, allowing the Emperor a much better view of the second intruder. It was a Twili. Well, it was only a matter of time that he ran into another one of Midna's people, he supposed. He only hoped that the being wasn't really here to get all pissed off about his relationship. He really didn't want to create problems for Midna, but he was certain that sooner or later, there was going to be some jackass causing a ruckus or perhaps even attacking him or worse, Midna. He hoped that if it came up, he'd at least be able to nip it in the bud before it grew into something that couldn't be contained without some sort of divine intervention. However, it seemed that was not the case, but rather, the Twili was looking for someone, who he simply assumed to be Midna. After all, it seemed that most of the Twili that were coming into the Light Realm were working for the Twilight Princess. Nevertheless, it would be best if he actually went and confirmed that it was indeed Midna he was talking about before spouting off something stupid and making himself look stupid for it. Plus, he figured that he could probably have some fun with this, something to entertain himself for a little bit. "Sunset colored hair, cloak with a headdress and a mischievous personality?" He inquired. He was sure that the Twili would know he meant Midna, but he wasn't sure if she was who the Twili was talking about. He figured it was best to learn that first.

Nixes was starting to get far more interested. Not only was this stranger a second trespasser into this property, but he wasn’t all that alarmed by his appearance. “That’s a shame…” Nixes glared a bit at the nearby livestock, feeling insulted by their reaction, and they’re various noises, what could he have done to provoke such actions? “Maybe if you own them you could quite them down, they don’t seem to like me all that much. I hope the more intelligent creatures treat me a bit more kindly..” Nixes sighed a bit, still being rather new to this place, not really feeling all that welcome thus far.
After all his ancestors were less then kind in this realm, they were banished, and Nixes refused to turn a blind eye to history. While he would be understanding of the suspicions of others, he also would not be harmed do to the sins of his forefathers. But really, all that wasn’t of importants now, he had something of a mission, this was no time to get distracted, as easy as it was, with all these new surroundings.
Then Nixes eyes grew wide and he laughed rather loudly, a cheerful chuckle at that. “That’s her alright, unmistakable. If you’ve met, I’m sure you’re likely aware she’s rather… important. I suppose you could say I’m her right arm.” The Twili said rather confidently, feeling more upbeat and ready to grab hold of such a promising lead.
“I command our people’s military, but as we are rather peaceful over all, my job is more of a bodyguard most of the time, along with this I have a certain amount of political standing, though honestly I don’t care for all that.” The man shrugged and sighed, feeling it was best to be honest, and get to the point. There was a decent chance Nightmare knew of Midna’s regal standing, and as long as this man was as friendly as he seemed, it would instill Nixes’s need to find his sovereign. “But I’ve been somewhat rude, my name is Nixes Levoetum, who might you be? And what might your relationship with Midna be?” He said, bowing slightly, his ears twitching lightly against the breeze.

Little worm crawling on the ground, Who gave you permission to come here? Wait, the Twili thought the goats were uneasy about him? That wasn't the case at all. Sure they might not like him, but it was Nightmare who was riling them up by being there. But he wouldn't mind, he'd just let the Twili continue to believe that. If it kept him out of trouble, he didn't mind. Though he was happy to know that he was right on the mark, and he was talking about Midna. He really didn't need to be told twice that she was important. He knew that she was important to the Twili, and to her realm. But most of all, she was important to him, he didn't need to be reminded of such facts. But it didn't take long for him to learn the Twili's identity. So this was Midna's right had, the only who answered only to her. Well, he had to admit, he was rather lucky that few, if any of the Twili really knew about him. He had only really interacted with one other than Midna, and that was just a brief greeting. It could be said that aside from Midna, he had never really shared a conversation with any kind of Twili. Well, that had changed, and now he was dealing with the Assassin. He kind of wondered just how he would take to the news, to the fact that Nightmare was dating his sovereign. Honestly, if Nightmare had been in this guy's position, he'd have taken it like someone was trying to date his sister. Not something he would be too thrilled about. Then again, he and Midna had agreed they would be open about their relationship. They wouldn't go around bragging, but they wouldn't try to hide it. "As for how I know her... well, I guess you can say I'm her boyfriend." He remarked with a smirk. In a way, he felt like he was rubbing it in. "Nightmare Darklight, Emperor of the Ainur. Pleasure to meet you." He would at least try to be polite. There was no need to go and start a fight with Midna's right hand man, he didn't need her getting angry with him for beating up on of her precious Twili, now did he?

If Nixes knew any better he would be embarrassed at his ignorance. While Nixes wasn’t stupid by any means, from his perspective he didn’t really belong in this world. While Nightmare gave off a particularly odd air about him, Nixes was still the foreign entity to the realm. So for quite some time at least, he’ll most likely chalk any odd happening to himself, especially when it involves manners such as animals acting strangely. Still Nixes was happy to ignore the loud, annoying creatures, and talk of matters of more importants, such as tracking down the leader of his people.
Nixes would maintain being as pleasant as possible, as was his nature, as he was trained. Although, this man, this Nightmare, gave a response he had not seen coming. “B-Boyfriend you say?" Nixes stammered, as he took a moment to process this information. A wave of emotion swept over Nixes. First a bit of anger and jealousy, there was a bit of truth in Nightmares assumption, the sisterly role was at least a bit fitting. Along with that there was a bit of romance, that caused him to feel slightly scorned. Nothing significant mind you, but quite enough to conger up some jealousy.
Midna had just about driven him to insanity; this was true, simply leaving like she did. But Nixes couldn’t deny that the princess was the most important woman in his life. Along with that, he also had a habit of comparing Midna with Alma. They only person Nixes truly ever felt deep love for, whether it was that of romance or family, he was too young to know, as he had really known neither before her. And above all else, Nixes couldn’t help but see Nightmare as a threat, someone to take someone else away from him.
Were this some time ago, Nixes would have most likely gone into a rage, attacking this stranger. But the Twili had gained a bit more mental stability in the past months, causing reason to kick in. After all, if what he said was true, Midna had agreed to this arrangement. And to try and control Midna in the slightest was an effort in pure futility. “Well… a Pleasure to meet you Nightmare…. I don’t know whether to shake your hand, or cut it off.” The Assassin forced a smile, sounding
