Hiring: Moderators

Well, more specifically, Character Mods, but its essentially the same thing lol

Contrary to some people's opinions, I'm not an idiot, and I'm not stubborn, I just hate doing certain things lol

One of those things being hiring new staff members, because you never know who you can trust >.> *Rather tired of betrayal these days*

But, I'm going to give it a shot. I mean, as mentioned before, not an idiot, I know that the Staff are having a hard time. Quite a few are busy with RL (Job hunting, school, friends, love, the works), some are tired of people, and others are dealing with the reality that being a staff member isn't as fun as they remember >.> lol

So I'm going to open up enrollment to try to become a basic site Mod and help this place get running more smoothly again.

Now, this is just open enrollment. If you think you would be okay with being a Mod and looking over CSes, enforcing rules, and trying to help people when you can, then post here. Once the Time Limit has been reached, then I'll post up the Trial to see who can and can't do the job.

Honestly, being a Mod isn't as hard as some believe it is, or make it out to be, its just not as fun as some would hope/think lol You check CSes, tell people if there is anything wrong, if so, wait till they fix it, if not, approve it for 1/3. You keep an eye on the CBOX to see if anyone does anything wrong, you watch for abuse, you handle questions posed to you or direct people to me, etc etc.

Of course, just like QM, you do get paid for the job, so that's a bonus of it.


And this is where it gets personal; if you have EVER said that not enough work gets done around here, I believe the technical scientific term for this is "put up or shut up" lol So either try your hand at improving us, helping us to get back to where we were and hopefully even surpass that, or hush up ಠ_ಠ I'm a firm believer in trying to change something or letting it go, no in-between.



As said before, anyone can post here saying they'd like to give it a shot, I'll be posting up the actual Trial later. How many people will I hire? Honestly, dead seriously? I will hire EVERYONE I feel I can trust to do the job, and yes, even if that means having 50 Mods. You guys aren't the only ones tired of how things are around here, this is me putting up and trying to make a change lol

Time Limit is 2 weeks from today, the 23rd, that's how long you all have to post here.

Hell, I'll give it a go. I'm on at least once a day and I would love to help push some characters through. I don't have any experience, but I think I've stalked the staff members here enough to get a general feel for things o3o

Being someone who admittedly said being staff would greatly improve the speed things got done, I have to accept the challenge of being a character mod.

Also admittedly, I said these things while I still had a computer. Right now mine's in repair, so make of that what you will. I'm trying to do what I can to improve the site even in limited capacity.

No having to worry about me having a life, for gosh sake, I'm in high school. Meaning, frankly, I can do what I want, when I want! if i don't have homework and studying and exams and projects and and and-

Even though most of the technology in my house has been giving us the cold shoulder these days ( my camera for instance ), I will still do what I can to help back this place up where it needs it.

I have extensive experience as a Mod, global mod, assist Admin, and admin experience, I have created several sites, all successful aside from my most resent which is rather new so I cannot say whether it is successful or a complete failure you never know when it’s something entirely new. I am the Command Sargent Major of Wellpinit High JROTC, So I can very well enforce rules. I am part of journalism in my school so I can make sure things are legible.

I have left almost all my other sites for one of two reasons, the site has been completed and moved on to a second phase of which I granted an experienced member to create, or the second reason is because it became spam central. However, I can decently accept characters, it was never my focal point, but I can help in many other areas of a moderator position.

That said I apply for a position, whether I am accepted or not I can do my best and as soon as I figure out everything there is to characters on this site (which is rather new to me) I can get to work on CS’s.

Just hand me a detailed description on how to approve of characters of this site I’ll be working very well in no time.

I am Loyal and honest, I will not break a promise, I will ask if I believe something is out of my authority. After all every site have their own limits of authority.

PS: I have never worked with your version of character Template, the ones I have dealt with similar to yours can have magic or abilities, but have several rules behind them detailing limits, and this is different, new to me as I said before.

Not to mention I too sort of “complained” about staff inactivity, I believe I could help get things running as the people wish.

Well, I've given you guys a lot of trouble since I've been here, but I did ask for a way to redeem myself, so I'm throwing my name in the pot because I may not remember complaining (which I pro'ly did), but I do remember saying that I wanted a way to redeem myself, so I believe that this may just be what I have to do to make it up to you guys for all the kindness you've shown me even after I caused you all that of trouble.

As of now, I'm not in school and don't have a job, so I have a fair bit of free time on my hands, so I'd be able to check on the CSes whenever I could remember to.

As I'd said before, I'll do whatever I can to keep this great site afloat, and I meant every word of it, so just tell me what to do, and I'll try my best.

I might be ineligible for this, but I still thought it wouldn't hurt to at least try to give back some of what you guys've given me, so I offer my services and don't expect to be paid for them, I'd just be happy as long as I can do something to keep this site going so that others can come and have as much fun here as I have.
