APPEARANCE,
Voletta is just a little girl. She has red, linen shoes, along with a knee length cape with a hood,. Underneath is a mystery to everyone, but she assures you that it's nothing special ? just some shorts and a shirt made of regular cloth. She has short, light ash brown hair that flows easily when running or in the wind. Her eyes are that of a hazel color, often appearing dull and distant. Voletta is rather short, being 4'7?. People don't usually make fun of her for this, in fact, they call it ?cute.? She has yet to understand how.
Voletta often has a neutral expression on her face with her hood up. Her lack of expression makes her seem like the type of person that would burn and disappear when she's alone. But that's only when she can feel people around her. No, she doesn't sense them with some ability, she can feel them. It's something she had developed after living in solitude for most of her life. When she is truly alone, she studies her surroundings, sings, skips around, and simply enjoys herself. The same can be said when she is in a large crowd of people, feeling that everyone will drown her out.
WEAPONS,Lumi?re et l'Obscurit?: A rather obscene-sized book, being two and a half feet tall, and two feet wide, consisting of fifteen hundred pages of hand written cuneiform, published by yours truly. The book has a very simple appearance, colored a pale green with a lime title. There is a leather strip attached to a lock, which keeps the book closed. There are two thin bark straps on back of the large book, allowing Voletta to wear it as if wearing a backpack. Being inexperienced with magic, she often uses the book it's self as a weapon by hitting enemies with tome. Inside the book is information and sketches of the world, along with studies of health and herbs. Inside the Healing section, there are many types of leaves, berries, and herbs along with recipes to heal cuts, wounds, and illnesses.
ITEMS,Searcher's Key: A mystical key that had bound Voletta's notes with magic. She had found it in her book recently, after previously completing the final touches of the cover. No one had claimed the key, so she kept it for herself and added a lock to the book, making it the only think that could open the lock, without destroying any part of the book, that is. She had made it into a necklace, and had made it tied tightly around her neck. She could never take it off without cutting the string that kept it together. Not that she'd ever want to take it off.
ABILITIES,Rejuvenation: A very complicated method of healing, created and revised by Voletta. She holds her book with her left arm, while pointing her right hand at a target. She siphons magic from the book, and blasts it at her target, jolting him/her with energy. Heals 2 points worth of HP over 2 posts. Cooldown is 4 posts.
Cure: Basic healing magic that seals minor cuts and wounds, temporarily numbing them. Heals 1 point of HP. Cooldown is 1 post.
RACIAL ABILITIES,
Ensnare: The Kokiri enchants a plant, again, any plant, into holding a target in place, meaning that they can?t move in or out of range for two turns. Ensnare has a cooldown of four turns.
HISTORY,
Voletta considers her past quite boring. And it is, in her perspective. To think her life would be fairly decent if her father haven't given her a simple book. You see, she was a completely normal, young kokiri. She played outside with what appeared to be her age group, helped out with what she could, and listened to her parents. For a short time. At age four, she was given a very thick picture book with images of both the Twilight and Light realms. Voletta was very fascinated with the subject, and began to study it.
Voletta began to change. She had stopped playing with the others. Her parent's demands were not followed. She would always venture out of the village, gathering herbs and berries for the adventure she was planning. Voleta did not stop there. On rainy or scorching days, she locked herself up in her room, continuing to study about the world, along with medicine. She'd even dyed her outfit entirely red. The people around her did not mind of her study, they've long forgotten her. Even her mother had forgotten about the child she gave birth to. Voletta was not bothered by this, however. She would soon leave the village to explore the world she had never seen.
And she did.
EXTRAS,
-If you poke Voleta in the side, she squeaks very loud. Enough to give you a headache for a bit.
-Tends to walk and run on her tiptoes to hush her steps.
-Voleta demands a piggyback ride from anyone who is at least 5'5 or taller.
