Phaess... Or should we call him by his real name Cerim? Either way he is a man or more an Oocca who is not concerned with public image he doesn't care about if people think highly or lowly of him. He's only their problem if he's been given a job to do for another person and that person is in the way. He is not very spontaneous in the least unless he's told he needs to be spontaneous for a job.
Now Cerim is a very realistic person he does not get involved with things that aren't to do with him unless he's asked too and paid to do so, he doesn't care if innocents get hurt as they're usually collateral damage and more than anything he intends to get the job done. With or without the chaos that it may bring. He is just a mercenary or scapegoat.
Cerim is very low maintenance though he does sometimes indulge on things when he's paid, after all he'll probably die before he's an old man so why not have fun. Cerim does not second guess himself, there's no point in second guessing yourself if you're getting something done.
Though he is male and has needs he isn't relationship obsessed, he doesn't feel the need to become involved with someone or care for them as it may only drag them in to the situations that he becomes involved with. Because of this he is withdrawn and feels that people have to be tough on others to get things done, he also seems to think that money is always more important than acceptance.
Cerim has very level emotions and does not put the welfare of others before himself (though perhaps if he became 'too' involved with another he might change some of the things about himself), he's not known for generosity, he's definitely not forgiving because if you cross him? He will become rather vengeful and will actively seek you out.
He can be selfish though he's also driven by reason in some senses, if someone makes a point that he agrees with then he may or may not join them and actively use his own talents to help them.
He's rather insensitive to the needs of others and will often be a little harsh in his dealings with them, he does not like touchy feely people and if people try to get close he will push them away and is more likely to become cold to them.
APPEARANCE,Cerim stands at 6'0 with silver/white hair that falls past his shoulders, and ends towards his mid-back, his hair is straight but all lengths of it are mismatched and no two strands are the same length. His fringe falls just past his eyes often obscuring them from view and longer bits fall around the sides of his face.
He's of a rather pale complexion and his eyes are of a bright sea green/blue that stand out most of the time. One thing to note about Cerim is that he hardly ever smiles, he also hardly ever laughs and his body language seems to portray that he's a very serious person. Though as Phaess? He'll adapt, using body language to throw off peoples ideas of him. Usually when he's playing as Phaess he'll be adorned in a black cloak of some form and generally wears a variety of masks.
His wings as an Oocca are pitch/ebony black, much like those of a raven, though they often stand out against his hair.
More often then not Cerim can be found wearing a plain white or black shirt and trousers to match along with dress shoes.
WEAPONS,Ruination - Ruination is a weapon that Cerim generally always has with him, though usually it looks strange as the two blades on either side are flicked down so they're inline with the shaft of the weapon. During weapon these two scythe blades can be flicked in to position where a mechanism holds them in place.
Despairing Fang - Despairing Fang is similar to a gauntlet however the needle when it pierces the flesh of an enemy is capable of injecting a mixed venom when a feather is loaded in to the back of it where the slot for such a thing is (One that Cerim has the ability to make see abilities) that will do damage over time.
ITEMS,Bottles (Usually with some sort of mixture that allows for him to smash the bottle on the ground and it'll create a sort of smoke screen)
ABILITIES,Poisoned Feathers - Poisoned feathers are something that Cerim rarely allows others to know about till it's too late. He has some sort of ability to generate a poison within his own body which he's immune to and is able to transfer this poison in to the tips of his feathers, if he sprays you with feathers then he may be able to damage your health over time with the poison that is contained within the hollow tips of the feathers (Takes 1 turn to generate poison, does low damage over a period of 3 turns, has a cool down of 3 turn)
Duality - Duality is the ability to make two separate copies of himself, these two copies do nothing but outrightly attack (at the same time mind you) however upon actually hitting the enemy they will only do a moderate amount of damage and disintegrate thusly disappearing, however if they are hit by the enemy? It's a one hit kill on them also causing them to disappear. (Copies last till they either get hit or do damage to the enemy, this ability also has a 5 post cool down period before it can be used again.)
RACIAL ABILITIES,
Teleport - The Oocca can teleport, moving them in-range, out-of-range, or without changing range; either way, the act of teleporting avoids one physical or magical attack. Cooldown of three posts.
Telekinesis - The Oocca can use a form of magic which allows them to manipulate objects, which comes in three ranges: Weak, Moderate, and Strong. Weak Telekinesis can either deal moderate damage to an opponent (by way of a sort of “force push”, or by flinging a small object at them) or can block a physical projectile that would deal up to moderate damage. Moderate Telekinesis can either deal heavy damage to an opponent (same as Weak, but with a stronger push/larger object) or block a physical projectile that would deal up to heavy damage. Strong Telekinesis, meanwhile, can deal massive damage to an opponent (same method as Weak or Moderate), three levels divided up among separate opponents, block a projectile that would deal massive damage, or block up to three projectiles that would deal moderate damage. Weak Telekinesis puts the whole ability on cooldown for one post, Moderate puts it on cooldown for two posts, Strong puts it on cooldown for three posts, but also consumes two action slots instead of the usual one.
HISTORY,
Like most Oocca Cerim was born in the City in the Sky, though his childhood was by no means pleasant or even happy. His parents were very domineering and refused to let him do even the most simple of tasks fearing that he would become injured. Though he was home schooled by his parents and they refused to let him outside for more than three hours a day he learned to cope with the conditions.
Though he did often escape their binds and even when caught he wouldn't appologize.
The reasoning he had for not appologizing to his parents for betraying them and escaping the home was simply because of all the other children in the place were allowed to roam. Why should he be kept in bondage when others were allowed to do as they pleased? He didn't understand and probably never would, his parents wouldn't let up their grip on him and in doing so turned Cerim in to a cold, unforgiving child who didn't seem to even blink twice at cruelty. He didn't care about it, he actually came to the conclusion that cruelty is a way of life, life is not fair and thusly people suffer, who is he to bother trying to change that? He wasn't a hero and heroes were stupid, after all, all heroes die eventually and there's always another villain just waiting to take their place and fill up more ranks.
It was a pointless exercise to fight against it.
Eventually Cerim hit his teenage years and in doing so, he left home, he didn't leave a note, he even faked his own death all that was left to remain were some feathers and blood. He left his parents and friends in mourning and he didn't care about their suffering in the slightest. In doing this he took on the guise of a new name. Phaess.
Phaess is what Cerim calls an alter-ego. It's the name he goes by when doing jobs and Cerim is the name he uses when he's not doing a job and is walking around freely.
With this alter-ego he was pushed by a friend towards a certain line of work. However he became more involved than he originally wanted too and found that he had been betrayed by the person he called a friend. Because of this he made a public example of the person. Killing them and leaving a bloodied note pinned to their corpse in the middle of a town, stating that no one should cross Phaess, in doing so he's gained a reputation within the darker circles of various places and despite being so young has completed a fair few jobs, most of which involved killing and leaving no witnesses.
Recently jobs have been slim and hard to find, though Cerim seems to think that he may be loosing his touch, it was easy to see that he hadn't when he was approached by someone that shall remain unnamed. Being contracted to do some work to which he will not divulge details, he intends to get the job done and of course... Not be double crossed, for if he is... There will be more than just blood shed.
