"You have fun with your little adventures, your majesty. I need to get my head screwed on correctly. Most importantly, I need to hear back from my spy. If we're lucky, we'll have the damning evidence we need when he gets back." She came here to get away from business, but it all came back to her anyway.

"Same goes for you by the way. If you find something important you let me know. Although I'd rather avoid having to cause any harm." She still abhorred violence in its many forms. But she needed this information.

[Merik Dragmire]

"To be fair Titania, your head has never been screwed on right and you've managed fairly well so far." Merik retorted with a little wink to her, trying to break the Queen out of her funk.

"If I do turn up anything of use I'll be sure to let you know." he said with a grim smile before adding in. "We're dealing with a serial killer here, violence and death come packaged in with the deal...and ,if you'll take my advice, you may want to increase security around your palace. If Zolanius finds out that people are trying to find his exact connection to the Raven Shade he might go looking for the people that know a connection exists."

Titania gave him a displeased look and shook her lead, but had trouble keeping a straight face and cracked a smile before long.

"Look who's talking. You can't have it screwed on right when you live around only women." She gave him a little push before her face went back to being serious again.

"I know what we're up against. I know that sometimes violence is inevitable, and believe me, when my life is on the line I know how to defend myself." She shook her head, strong in conviction. A smile cracked on her face again and she leaned up against a wall, shaking her head once again at his comments.

"You may be right, but remember something. I may not look the part of a warrior, and it's true that many of us do seem a bit dainty, but we're not weak. I don't carry around this bow for show, I can actually use it." She summoned a small ball of white energy in her hand. "And don't forget about our secret weapon which isn't actually secret because we display it all the time."

Merik chuckled when she mentioned that he wasn't quite right himself and gave him a playful shove before moving against the wall.

"I'm not forgetting that you and many of your people can fight but don't you forget that the Shade has taken down both battle hardened warriors and cutthroat killers which says he is either the best warrior in the land or he has no problems with playing dirty; I'm leaning more towards him playing dirty...though I wouldn't be too upset if he turned out to be a halfway decent warrior, makes the fighting a lot more fun." he said with a quick crack of his knuckles.

"I just want to make sure that you're safe; you're an important ally, a very skilled negotiator, and, most important, a friend. I wouldn't like to find you butchered like so many others."

"Zolanius made him out to be the best in the land. So maybe he'll survive...two rounds against you. I can barely survive one" she said, giving him a playful nudge. The old Titania was coming back slightly. Seeing a friend certainly helped. Especially one like Merik.

"Thanks. I'm glad to have allies on my side. Although one day I may have to play moderator between you and the rest of Hyrule. That'll put me in a tough spot. But I'm with you Merik. I know what the people say about your people, and I know it's not true. You may be set in yours ways, much to the chagrin of many, but it's who you are, and you don't deny it. It's been nice to see you. You made me feel a lot better."

[Merik Dragmire]

"Maybe two, it's really tough to say because I was going pretty easy on you...didn't want to do any permanent damage." Merik said, more than a little surprised that she was actually considering backing him when things inevitably turned against the Gerudo.

"It's been good to see you too Titania, and I'm glad I was able to help, even if it was just letting you vent."

Titania gave him a sarcastically sweet smile. "You're too kind." She shifted back to a relative normalcy as the sarcasm dissipated. "Trust me, there's no damage fairy magic can't heal. Don't learn that the hard way." That was a story for another day.

"Nice to see you too. Don't think you don't stand to gain from this encounter. Fairies remember when people help them, and you did today. I may not be able to repay you the way I'm used to anymore, but information is a powerful weapon." She waved to him and walked off, a newfound feeling of happiness that a true friend brought back to her.

"Should I ever find myself in need of that much Fairy Magic, I doubt I'll have gotten there by the easy way." Merik replied with a smile and a wave as Titania walked away.

"Information is indeed a powerful weapon, and sometimes it can be just the weapon needed to divert a lot of trouble..." he muttered to himself after she had left before turning and walking back the way they had come.
