"Not directly, but among his many victims there have been a few Gerudo and pirates so that does put us at odds." Merik replied with a look at the dog beside him. "And I suppose that if I'm being forced to take companions along I can't deny that Kotone and Ruma are right: you could be very useful in this hunt Mabari, if you choose to come along that is."

He turned back to Ruma and could plainly see that she didn't want Jin to go.

"Jin belongs to you Ruma so it's your decision, but Kotone and Mabari are right that Jin could be useful as well."

[ruma]

Ruma took a deep breath and sighed. This was a difficult decision for her. Jin would be a valuable asset to his hunt, but she didn't want to let him just stroll into danger. After a minute of internal deliberation she came to a decision.

She walked up to Merik and placed something in his hand. "Promised me you'll bring him back alive. I am not giving you him lightly." She turned to Mabari, crouching down. "The same goes double for you. I need you to watch over Jin and Merik. We need them back alive and healthy." She put a hand out for him to paw it. He made not have been a puppy, he may not be a typical dog at all, but she couldn't help but at least look at him as one. But that didn't take away from his ability to be a great companion.

Kotone would love to stab and kill everyone she ever hated and be done with them. However she could not as oddly Merik see to surround his self with people she don't care about. these people are fire freaks like TJ or sex freaks like the bug lady or heck the smart dog. Merik had odd people he seem to take in and it was just this year. However the dog seem to ignored her or did not seem to look at her at all. So that mean either eh was not talking to her or had nothing to say. Either way it was a dog.

A dog that came to their private meeting for family only. She looked at her sister Ruma as she gave in and was going to let Jin take care of Merik. Which is good as she just did not feel right letting Merik out there alone hunting for someone. She does and stood off to the side as everyone talked and she want on to listen. As her thing was settle as she take care of the bug now that she knew Merik be ok. But she still wanted to see Merik off....

[Mabari]

Mabari high pawed Ruma, then lunged forth and licked her face. Wagging his tail slightly, he turned to Merik and nodded; he felt the tension coming off of Kotone, his opinion of her dropping even more so. She was definately not his type of companion, but at least Jin would be going.

Sounds good, and you have my word Ruma.

"Very well...then with all that settled we'll leave in the morning. Ruma make sure that Jin has a Charm, it'll make things much easier if we're all able to communicate in and out of battle." Merik replied as he pocketed the remote and rose once more.

"Well then, I've got a letter to write and some gear to pack, then I'll turn in. I'll see you all in the morning."

With those words he turned and walked from the throne room.

As Mabari lunged her she gave him a big hug and giggled. "Good boy.

Ruma gave Merik a nod as she dug around for another charm. Not one in her bag, she'd have to pick one up.

"Good luck. Take care of Jin and Mabari. Mabari, take good care of Jin. I have to go get him a charm and update you. See everyone in the morning." And with that, she hugged her sister quickly. "Don't hurt Titania. We don't need anyone to hate us." She then darted out of the room to find Jin.

Kotone was glad Jin and the dog was going. However thins changed as he left just like that after saying he will leave tomorrow. she open her mouth as if she was going to say something but like normal nothing came out. She watched as the dog like her sister and not her. Her sister gave her a hug as she nods to her as she leaves.

She sighed softly as she wanted to spend some... private time with Merik. However it seem that was not the case. Sh hated this as she be away from the desert and everything for a long time. even more she won't see Merik or feel his touch. She rub her arm as it suck not to have voice. She does turn and leave as she needed to get ready for hell for the next month or two or even more. She hated this as she leave the throne room heading to her room.
