[Story]
Fane lifted his head and shifted his position, standing in the large opening within the Forest. With his twin guns, Aarondite, and Greer's blade all compacted onto his body, he stood ready for a fight that he wasn't even sure if it was really going to happened. He had tracked the Raven for days now.
His leads had led straight to Ordana, and he had followed the target, or what he thought to be his target, directly into the Faron Woods. It was quiet though, so amazingly quiet. Something was amiss; perhaps he had walked directly into a trap. He wasn't sure.

A hollow laughter filled the air, Zolanius had found this man and he looked as though he was waiting for something, someone. This was amusing, as this was the first time somebody had managed to see him coming. He was flying over the woods when he spotted the human, and was circling the stranger high in the air.
[glow=purple,2,300]"And what have I found in these woods this fine evening? A soldier? No, he doesn't look like any knight I've ever seen. A hunter, perhaps? Time to have some fun."[/glow]
With grace, he flew down and landed in view of the man, head tilted with his glowing eyes fixed on the other's, reading him.
[glow=purple,2,300]"You look like you're ready for a fight... I suppose you're here for me?"[/glow]

"If you are the Raven Shade whom struck down my Zora friend a while back, then I s'pose so." He reached down to his two pistols, Veritas and Aequitas, drawing them and pointing them directly at Zolanius. Pulling the levers back, he prepared to shoot the Oocca and end his life, but not without telling him exactly why.
"Kulau is my friend, and you crossed the wrong man. I tracked you for days, Raven Shade. This is your end."
Squeezing the triggers, he felt the kick from both guns, aiming for the chest of the Oocca. Immediately following this, he holstered the guns and reached behind him, gripping Greer's blade in preparation for any tricks the male held up his sleeve.

Zolanius smiled from behind the mask, the yellow glow narrowing in the lenses of the flight mask showing a sort of glee. He must've been talking about that one Zora, the fish that got away. The battle started rather abruptly, with guns. Simple machines... The Raven Shade put his arm forward and summoned Spirit Barrier in a brushing motion, like he was simply dismissing the attack as it sparks against a transparent barrier.
[glow=purple,2,300]"Wretched human... Your fate is sealed. You will beg for mercy at the will of the Goddesses!"[/glow]
Without giving a motion to cast magic, two blue fireballs, Will 'o Wisps, sudden materialized and began dancing around him in opposite directions. Then, they increase speed and launch at the hunter in a flanking formation.

Fane drew Greer's blade and held it up, blocking his right flank from the flaming attack. His left was hit immediately however, and he had no defense against it. Sliding to the right from the impact, he felt the intense burning sensation as it melted through his skin, leaving a nasty wound.
Gritting his teeth and charging forth, he concentrated his energy into his left hand. A white, pulsating energy compounded around it and he shot his fist directly at the Raven Shade. Demonic Pulse was his most deadly attack, dealing Massive damage to his targets if contact made, and sending heavy damage out in a blast if it did not.

He prepared himself for the impact, crossing his arms in front of him to block the impact. As soon as the attack would impact... SHOOMP! The sound of air rushing in as he teleported was a bad sign. The Raven Shade was now behind he hunter, and took advantage of the time he had during Fane's attack to aim Inquisitor at his back.
[glow=purple,2,300]"Suffer!"[/glow]
He unloaded an entire clip, a spray of ten needles fired at Fane from behind.

His attack missed; falling forth, the explosion rippled through the ground and left a large crater. As soon as the needles shot, he spun around, half of them catching into his back while the other deflected off of the large black sword he held. Swinging it directly for Zola's head, he let out a ferocious battle cry of anger and pain.
The slash was aimed directly for the chest, and blood spewed from his side. Fane was going to regret this battle, he could already tell. Kulau was right to flee....

A good hit. Those needles in his back are going to be hard to remove, since this one doesn't seem that flexible. Maybe his Zora friend can pull them out, he probably knows how now. But the way this one swings a sword, there is passion in these swings, he was determined to put an end to the Raven Shade. He must know how many has been killed so far. Zolanius put Harbinger to his side to intercept the blade. As the massive sword clashed with the steel shaft, Zolanius grunted as the shock of the impact ran through his arms, and it wasn't disguised by the influence of Skeith voice covering Zolanius'. Now they were in a clash, as long as he kept this stance, he shouldn't be overpowered too easily.
[glow=purple,2,300]"You fight with much fire in your heart... It's a shame that I will have to extinguish the flame like I have for several others."[/glow]
Zolanius took a step forward, sliding Harbinger along his blade and working his way to the base of the opponent's weapon, where the force was stronger but more awkward to keep up the defense. The glow from his eyes was bright, shining on Fane's face.
[glow=purple,2,300]"I could use a fighter such as yourself. Submit now, and you might have the privilege of delivering my mail!"[/glow]

Fane watched as the blade slid along his, the pain in his back and side blurring his vision with a rush of adrenaline. As the blade slid down and pushed his out, weakening his grip, he used his free hand to grab Aarondite, his Tsurugi sheathed at his waist.
Drawing it and switching his footing, he pulled back on his 12 foot blade, and move his body sideways while slashing Aarondite at the Raven. His movement was swift and quick, lacking in power but aimed for the Kidneys of the Oocca. He kept Greer's blade up in his other hand, acting as a shield for his flank.

It seems this is one that should'nt be toyed with, being such a warrior that he is. Him pulling his sword away like that threw him off-balance, although only slightly. However, it was enough to have his next attack hit, drawing blood from his side. With a grunt of pain, he immediatly retreated with a powerful blow from his narrow wings launching him bakwards, and keeping him airborne to keep an advantage.
Zolanius decided to retaliate with a flurry of attaccks, sweeping at Fane with the scythe from above, and stabs with the sword end of Harbinger. He was staying just in range, which still posed a danger since his opponent's blade has such a range on it. However, Zolanius has a trick up his sleeve that may land some critical damage.

As the attacks lunged down at him, Fane sheathed the Aarondite once more, and relied soley on Greer's blade. He needed to make an escape, this battle wouldn't finish with such ease. Using it to block the attack, he felt his body sliding back from the force of the blows. One got his arm good, leaving a deep slash by the elbow.
Using his free arm, he once more used Demonic Pulse, attempting for the blast to connect with his opponents weapon. If it worked, he could hopefully pull back and be capable of making a hasty retreat.

This fighter was in over his head, at a disadvantage despite his skills with the massive blade. This forced him backwards, but he was still able to fight back, releasing the same attack like last time. Stale, and futile. In an instant, the Raven Shade vanished from the attack, and in his place was Harbinger, left behind, resting on the ground. The shade teleported behind him, and didn't make a sound. This next trick was to give the illusion that Harbinger was alive.
Using telekinesis, Harbinger shook and suddenly rose up, spinning and expanding, a giant sawblade of destruction spinning and singing a whistle of doom as the blades sliced through the air. As it spun, Zolanius summoned two wisps, and they wet dancing.
[glow=purple,2,300]"You had your chance."[/glow]
Whether Fane would turn around to react, it didn't matter. Both wisps lunged at his midsection, at point-blank range, to push him into the whirling blade of death.

Fane felt the blast in his midsection, and entered into the Harbinger. At first he reached forth, trying to use the giant blade to latch into something and stop his fall. It was to late however, and blood spurted across the shining grass as his life was ended. His body, sliced up and torn to shreds, fell lifeless to the floor, Greer's Blade falling to the ground as Aarondite, the sword which held Valen's spirit, shined in its sheath.

What a mess! Blood was everywhere, as it was one of the most brutal kills he's ever performed. He swings Inquisitor and grabs the spinning Harbinger with a loud metallic noise against the armored gauntlet and the blades falling back into place. This had become routine, only this time, he had a great reward. He saw Aarondite, and went to pick it up as it clearly had value. His hand was almost to it when...
No! Leave it there... There is something in that blade that needs to be left alone. This might not be the last we see of it.
Zolanius didn't understand it, but he listened and left the blade as it was. He then turned to Greer's Blade, and looked at it with wonder. Such a massive blade. How that human found the strength to hold it with but one hand was a mystery. He grabbed the handle of the large sword and started to pull slowly. He pulled much faster than expected, however, as it was light as a feather. Amused by whatever enchantment was on the blade, he waved it around like it was a twig, no overswing, no strain. This one, he was keeping.
He did the usual. Took what blood was left and drew his symbol on the ground with the plentiful blood that was available. With that, he took flight, another new blade in hand, and disappeared into the sky.
