Merik stood on a high cliff and looked down upon the ocean spreading out before him, the constantly moving waters occasionally broken up by islands.
The seas belong to me now...soon enough the skies will be mine and then with everything in hand I'll claim the land...then maybe it'll be time to reorganize things...[/color] he thought idly as he watched clouds building miles away.
"Storm's brewing and it's going to be a big one...and all those who aren't ready will be swept away beneath the waves." he said quietly as he just continued to watch.

Vriska had never seen the ocean. So when she'd had the time, she'd decided to go see what all the fuss was about. Cloaked by her minish power, Vriska had simply teleported to the shores of Hyrule.
She sat there for hours, speechless.
Storm's brewing...
The voice of a man standing above her startled Vriska enough that her invisibility broke. She was sitting cross-legged at his feet. One more step and he would've kicked her off the edge of the cliff. Still trying to shake off her amazement at what she was seeing, Vriska looked up at the man behind her. "F8ck. I mean. Sh8t. Hello. Who're you?"

"A King to some, Death to others, the whispered demon mothers warn their children about, a legendary threat returned to Hyrule...or so most would have you believe." Merik replied as he looked down at the odd Hybrid before him.
"Today I am simply a traveler come to gaze at the endless oceans, you may call me Merik. And what about you?"

There was a long, solemn pause at Merik's ominous words. Then Vriska laughed.
And laughed and laughed and laughed.
Trying to draw breath in between heaving bouts of laughter, she fell backwards, only narrowly avoiding mauling Merik's legs with her horns and rolled around, still laughing, often coming only inches from the cliff's edge.
When she could finally speak in between suppressed giggles, Vriska wiped away a tear that was forming in one eye. "Aha ha you're adorable, that's what you are. Heehee. I'm Vriska. Vriska Seraphine."
Still lying down, still smiling, Vriska sighed in contentment. At least this guy had put her in a good mood. "Legendary Demon Whispery Deathy Threatking Merik, huh? King of who? The mole people?"

Merik watched impassively as she rolled around laughing, giving her a look that clearly said 'ya done?' when she was gasping for breath.
"The Gerudo actually, you know the warrior women that spend a lot of time in the desert?" he replied drily before asking. "And you would be the Sky Lord's long-lost-Hybrid-sister-that-nobody-ever-talks-about-except-when-they're-talking-about-you-being-one-of-the-Praetor's-consuls-because-most-don't-know-that-you're-the-Sky-Lord's-sister, am I correct?"

"Of course I know the Gerudo. I've f8cked one repeatedly. So has most of Hyrule."
"Just Sky Lord now. Or Sky Lady. Really the title is kind of gender-neutral. Ryst abdictated and here I am, ruling the same people who exiled me." She giggled. "The irony is not lost on them."
Vriska thought of something. "Woah. This is the first time I've ever met another one of Hyrule's leaders. Trippy."

"So what brings the Sky Lady back to the ground? I'm sure you've got your plate full with the collapse of part of your city. Or have you just come to pay your respects to the dead?" Merik asked as he indicated the pieces of the City still visible in the Lake below them.
"It's not that interesting meeting the leaders...unless two are leading races at war, then you at least get to see a good fight."
