APPEARANCE,

Look for yourself. Jack humbles himself as an average lookin' lad for his age. He sports dirty blonde hair short, slicked up, wild and short spikes with subtle sideburns shaping his face. He possesses the trademark elven ears Hylians adorn (just imagine him with pointy ears, because it's quite obvious by picture... you know. Stupid showy ears. >.>). Jack stands at a good 5 foot, 10 inches, with an lean, athlete's form. His eyes are a soft coat of hazel leaning more on the honey brown in color, but it does have a tendency to change hues every now and then.

His attire mainly consists of a white long-sleeved, short turtleneck shirt, over a ornate gold, and blue vest. His bottom half are a pair of dark brown rider pants with a belt looped around his waits, with two pouches on each side. His feet are covered by a pair of leather shoes for the sake of comfort, but if need be he could easily change to boots (but those are for formality sake). He wears two rings on his left hand, one on his middle finger, and another on his pinky.

WEAPONS,

Reech: Standard long sword, inherited from his father, who earned it from his father. The age of the sword is well hidden due how well it's taken cared for.

ITEMS,

Two pouches: One carries his essentials for survival, and the other the storage for dried goods, water bottle container, etc.

ABILITIES,

Wind Rider: Jack has a natural sense of currents, specifically with the wind, thus over the years has learned to harness the natural element, and create it at will. Should he need to, he could easily change the direction of the wind's current passively. He's also seen taming gusts of wind, and even riding with the wind, gliding off the ground, making his body light, and nimble, in a sort of skating fashion. Although he possesses the element of Wind, but he does not gloat about it or even hint that he knows how to use magic.

Turbulent Strife: Jack swings his sword at the target and it becomes suspended in air between them. The wind not only carries the swing of the blade, but also copies of the sword appearance, if only transparent to the bare eye and all (# of blades) lunge themselves at the target. Since he's only a novice wind wielder, Jack can only create two copies along with his actual blade to project at his target. It has a cooldown of four posts.

RACIAL ABILITIES,

Magical Devastator: All magical damage dealt by the Hylian is increased by a half level, and they gain access to a Magic Attack, which mimics the regular attack save that it deals magical damage (i.e. deal a half-level of magical damage, consumes one action slot, no cooldown).

HISTORY,

Jack was born to Benjamin and Meredith Craven tucked away in the village of Kakariko. During his childhood, he spent most of his days playing with wooden swords, out in the middle of the open plains. There he found a friend in the wind that blew incessantly wherever he went. It was thanks to following anywhere the wind blows that he developed a terrible problem with getting lost for hours on end. His parents would worry about their poor son every time he comes home late, and dinner has gone cold. Thus the start of his terrible sense of direction, he would highly depend on the wind to show him where everything was from there on.

His adolescence were spent under the apprenticeship of swordsmanship in hopes of one day becoming a knight of valor. He admired the tales of the Hylian Knights, and aspired to one day enlist apart of their group in order to serve his country. For the longest time, pride was his vice, dominating his personality and coating his words and actions. Because of this, he struggled to grasp his element for it, too, was proud and would not allow itself to be handled by someone who thought themselves better than it. Whenever a magic teacher told Jack of his flaw, a fit of rage would occur.

It took many years to control the wind, or rather form a sort of alliance with it so that they worked together for the greater good. Soon enough the wayward wind allowed him to ride her currents if only in means of hovering off of the ground. Along with swordsmanship, he adapted at horseback riding, and developing a technique only unique to him, 'Turbulent Strife'. By the time he reached the coming of age, his ears were pierced, marking the sign of adulthood. He eagerly departed from his home down in order to enlist in the Hylian Knights, setting his sights on Hyrule Castle to begin his new adventure out in the world!

There was only one problem. Remember, he's directionally challenged, and thus quickly got himself lost. This is where we start off Jack's adventures, searching for Hyrule Castle in order to become a knight.

He is severely directionally challenged for the sake of comedy (and a good excuse for him to adventure in the most unlikely places. xD)
