Everything was becoming all a blur to her now these days. Iris had a difficult time trying to figure out what was real, and what was fantasy. The adventures she made it through as of recent events brought a smile across her lips. There was a pep in her step as she strolled upon the cobblestoned streets of Castle Town. Her twin tails bobbed up and down enjoying the silence as it listened to the soft hum that escaped from her throat. Iris added a small spin along the way throwing away any cares off her shoulders, and into the dead of night.
As of lately, she made frequent trips throughout the city, if only to relish in the solace the evening brought her. Reminding her of the night she encountered who would be her favorite person in all of Hyrule. Perhaps they were nothing more than a facade being played out by a lovesick pathetic girl, who lost touch with reality so long ago, but in the end, Iris found it to be bliss.
He had eyes as cold as jewels, and a smile that could make any girl melt. His charm was superficial, but Iris found herself drawn towards him like a moth to flames. Not because he was trying to woo her with his plastic demeanor, but rather of what he was. A monster who played a vicious game of deceit, and heartbreak. The aquamarine haired maiden rubbed her neck softly feeling the scar that was left upon her neck where Loki drew her blood. Reminded of that wonderful night caused a giggle to escape her lips.
She couldn't help but wonder if he even gave her proposition any bit of thought. It's been a while since she last saw him. Has he given up interest in her? Either way, she found herself thinking about him frequently.

The reaper couldn't resist. A game so delightful, so obviously in his favor, and yet so challenging; he had to go along with it. There was no way he couldn't. And while he detested tying himself to this strange, eager girl, there was no other way around it. He wanted fun, and this game was sure to be amusing at the very least.
Loki strolled up alongside the girl, one hand in his pocket and the other playing with his flickblade. "You seem to enjoy walking around at night, hmm~? Aren't you afraid of the danger?"
He knew she wasn't. Anyone afraid of danger didn't go waltzing along the edges of bridges in the middle of the night. The comment was simply his way of accepting the girl's offer. Straight-up saying 'sure, yeah, it's a deal' was much too boring for him. He liked to spice it up a little, keep the girl wondering, maybe test her intelligence. It was rather amusing to be the chased rather than the chaser, and he would make her work for his kiss.

Take my hand, I give it to you Now you own me, all I am Iris mused for a second or two pondering how she should respond to his question. Being sarcastic, and calling him out on the rhetorical question would be a major understatement. No, it wouldn't do the meaning justice to express the girl's inability to express fear. That negative emotion that was suppose to lay deep within the depths of her heart was nothing more than a void of emotions. Lost within the grasps of conception since Iris forgotten all about reality as a whole. The world just didn't understand how special she truly was, and because of that she resented keeping her mind on the ground finding the clouds more appealing. Her life was so warped around between what she believed was truth, and what laid in front of her, but it was already too late to bring her back down.
"I'm a big girl. I can handle myself," she replied, "but if I get lonely, I might need your help. Might." Iris couldn't begin to describe the joy she felt inside acknowledging the fact that he accepted her proposition. She did admit, it was a bit too good to be true for him, almost easy. However, when everything was laid out in stone, the deal was set, and there was no turning back. She held no shame in gambling her life away to the reaper, knowing that by binding herself towards him, would bring her nothing but misery.
Iris wanted nothing more than to wallow in her own despair, resenting the world for all it's worth, and enjoying the company of one affiliated with death. Loki was there - for the most part - just to keep her company, and watch her sink deep down under the bonds that locked her to him. Until the day that she died, or given into fear, he would always be there. For some off reason, it was comforting in a way, but then again she knew he felt nothing for her.
The things people do when they're bored, right? Nonetheless, it was the closest thing Iris could consider intimate - no matter how fake it truly was. Iris approached Loki slowly peering her aquamarine eyes up at him with the biggest smile graced upon her lips. "It's been a while... thought you might've lost interest, and moved onto other things," she mused. "I'm quite honored, you know~"

What a depressing girl. She willingly bound herself to one she knew to have a direct link with death, one who she knew could easily kill her at any moment, simply for the ecstatic high of being... alive. In a way, Loki was the only person that Iris could truly depend on. It was a similar case with his beloved Lora, but their roles were reversed; here, Iris was Loki, and Loki was Lora.
How amusing.
"You should get a pet, dear," he said, gazing at the human girl with cold crimson eyes. "I hear dogs are quite wonderful for curing that loneliness of yours."
Nothing, perhaps, was not an apt word to describe his emotions (or lack thereof) towards Iris. He was curious about what would cause a person to be so entirely apathetic over their very life, and rather disgusted at the way she threw herself at him. That is to say, Iris could be comforted in that there was always a piece of her on his ever-moving mind.
Loki laughed quietly and twirled his flickblade, admiring the way the moonlight caught the shining blade. "Silly Iris~," he said, a sickly sweet smile twisting his lips. "There's nothing honorable about the attention of a reaper~"
