APPEARANCE,
Eris stands roughly 5'6" tall with a quick, lithe build. Her skin is a blue-ish grey color that often seems to have a freshly powdered look to it though that is simply her natural coloring. Her eyes are a dark shade of blue that seem to mirror the ocean for color and her long dark hair is usually kept back in a braid save for special occasions.
On either side of her jawline she has a pair of fin-like gills. There is a similar set of gills, although not so elaborate, on her chest. She is often seen wearing several rings on a chain around her neck. Each of them is kept as a reminder of why she will never allow herself to be held back by a man.
WEAPONS,
She keeps several knives held on her person at all times but her main weapon is a kusarigama, which is a sickle on a chain with a weighted ball at the end.
ITEMS,
The Flying Dutchman- A ship that is considerably smaller than it's helm ship, the Defiant. What it lacks in size and firepower it more than makes up for with speed and maneuverability and although it only has fifteen guns. Ten of these are cannons with five placed on each side with ballista placed at various intervals between them.
A thing to note about the Dutchman is that unlike most ships it is capable of submerging and sailing undetected under the surface of the water.
She has a compass that she always wears on a string around her neck. Eris never goes without it.
ABILITIES,
The Dutchman (Enchanted Ship): Eris' ship is capable of sailing both above and below the surface of the water without posing a threat to non-Zoran crew members aboard. While under water the ship forms a bubble around the surface decks. The ship is left unable to attack until it surfaces.
Healing Kiss: With a kiss she can either take away a half level of her health to heal her target by one level of damage. This ability has a cool-down of one turn.

Water Dwellers
The Zora are most at home in the water, far more than any other creature. They are able to survive any sort of deep-water pressure, and can breathe water (or air), making them ideal swimmers. Furthermore, if they find themselves fighting in the water, they get an additional action slot. Outside of the water, they also have access to an electrical field, which can be used for attack or defense. They can activate the field at any time, which causes the opponent to take moderate damage whenever they get in-range of the Zora. Additionally, in the opponent’s next turn, they suffer from a stunning effect that makes it hard to move (they have one less action slot). While in water, the damage is raised to heavy, and affects opponents who are out-of-range, as well. The field lasts for one turn, and has a cooldown of five posts.
HISTORY,
Growing up, Eris believed that her life was perfect. She had a loving family and she had been with her childhood sweetheart since they were only just wee little things. She believed that they would be together forever. Two days after her sixteenth birthday, however, she caught him and her best friend together. In a fit of jealous rage she cut them both down. Eris knew that she would be punished for her crime and so instead of sticking around, she left her home for a new life.
It did not take her long to realize what she wanted to do. She had opened up a new side of herself that she had not known that day she'd killed them. In that moment, and from every moment on, Eris realized that she enjoyed violence; she enjoyed killing and taking what she wanted. It was only natural then that she should go and become a pirate.
Eris started out low on the ladder. Very few people were willing to take a naive young Zora seriously, despite her protests that she truly was capable of handling herself. After a week or two of searching for a crew and being turned down, Eris found herself in a pub. She believed by this point that she was going to be stuck watching from the outside while others had all of the fun. It was at about that time that a local captain's drunken first mate decided to make a pass at her. At first she refused but when he became more forceful a fight broke out between the two of them. She left him bleeding on the floor and the next day she had herself a position on a crew.
For the next few years she did everything she could to learn about the pirate lifestyle and to sharpen her skills as a navigator and a pilot so that one day, when she had her own ship, she would be able to go wherever she wanted. Eventually she got her chance. When she was 23 she became engaged to the captain of her current ship, The Dutchman. When he was slain in battle she took the position of captain aboard the ship. It is high speculated and most likely true that the only reason she had become engaged to him was to seize such a prized ship.
