The Faron Woods. Home to many things big and small, one of those things was an auburn haired man. Well not a man persay a fairy, and a male one at that, a rare occurrence, most he'd met didn't even seem to think male fairy existed which was a rather ignorant thought process in his opinion. Though that didn't matter. He wasn't here to ponder on things of that nature.
He was here passing through, on a job, simply running an errand, taking one valuable item from one place to another. Though he wandered in his larger form the package was small enough to fit in a pocket and so he had hidden it upon his person. It would have been stupid to walk around with it exposed as that would only make him and the item vulnerable.
The man strolled through the woods, he knew this place well enough, he didn't need a map, then again having been here long enough and of course having lived here once upon a time he knew the paths.
A sigh as he eventually stopped to take a rest, boredom was slowly settling in. Though this was a job, it paid and he had given his word to transport the item safely. Alone. As a courier of sorts. Sword beside him, shield on the other side, he slowly slid down the trunk of a tree his back to it and sat himself on the rock at the bottom.
The sounds of something moving caught his attention before long and a hand instinctively moved to his blade, grasping the grip the side of his fist brush up against the guard. Eyes looking towards where the noise came from. He was preparing himself for something. He just didn't know what yet. Though within a few moments an animal scampered out of the area looked at him and then scurried away. He sighed.
”Hmph.” The only sound that came from him before he settled himself once more.

Adela glided silently over the trees with her goggles on and her bow at the ready. It had been several weeks since she had started catching all of her food. Not only was it good practice but it helped her to save money. Now that she was living on her own for the first time, she was really starting to realize just how much things cost and it was a heck of a lot more than she had expected. But in catching her own dinner, it made her sharper and more independent, which is something she had wanted to improve about herself for quite some time now.
Passing overhead, she took notice of a man through the trees and followed his gaze to a set of bushes where a small animal was located. Despite all of the tree branches and leaves in the way, she was able to see both the man and the animal quite clearly through her glasses.
"Steady...steady..." She whispered to herself before letting the arrow loose. The arrow seemed to cut through the leaves and branches as though they were nothing before catching the animal just behind the back of its head.
Slowly, Adela made her way down through the trees, careful to find a path down that would not snag her large, black wings on anything. "Hello." Adela smiled up at the man as she knelt down and started working the arrow out of the small creature. She could not help but marvel at how much she had grown these past several weeks. Had this been when she was first on her own she would have been much more shy and reserved but now things like social interaction did not seem quite as scary to her. Maybe it was the realization that there were far worse things out there.

The sound of something whipping through the air and instinctively the man grabbed his shield, putting it over his head almost using it like it was some sort of umbrella till he saw an arrow deal out a death blow to that small creature he'd let go.
Slowly he lowered his shield from above his head setting it down beside himself once more.
”You've met with a terrible fate, little one, may your soul rest in peace.” He wasn't religious not in the slightest but he at least paid his respects to the dead if he happened to be there as and when something or someone was killed.
Wine colored eyes rested upon the female when she finally showed herself. Why was it people chose to hunt in these woods? Didn't they know the dangers of the place? Or did they think of themselves has something higher than nature itself. If the latter was the reasoning, then they were ignorant, these woods were a treacherous place. The only reason he wandered within them was because he knew where he was going. Thanks to actually living there for some time.
"Hello." He said nothing to her instead simply allowing his eyes to rest on the woman, watching her, trying to judge her character from her movements. Choosing if it would be better for him to simply ignore her and move along or if it would be wise to speak with her. Every action caused a consequence and he knew this. So he thought before he spoke.
"Hmmm... Hello..." He glanced away from her to the animal she was pulling the arrow out of.
"That would probably only be good for a single meal... It isn't very substantial so perhaps you should try to aim to hunt something a little larger next time." He spoke the words he wanted too, advice, just a tiny little bit of advice before he rose to his feet and then started to walk and move on.
"You should be careful in these woods... I'm sure you already knew that though didn't you?" He glanced over his shoulder at the woman, sword in one hand, shield in the other as he stood there. Almost as if awaiting a response or at least giving her the opportunity to speak to him before he wandered off.
The reasoning? He didn't want her to get lost. If he had to he'd stay and help lead her out of the woods by foot. Even if he didn't like the idea, his morals wouldn't allow him to leave a person, especially a female stranded in the Faron Woods.

Once the arrow was out of the creature, she ran a hand along it before pulling a cloth out of her satchel and wrapping it up in it. "These woods being dangerous is the reason why I go for small ones here. I hunt from the air and I land only to collect. I than you for your concern." Her voice was quiet, apologetic even, as she explained her actions.
Adela got to her feet and settled her wings against her back before checking her bow and adjusting her goggles. "Would you...would you like for me to walk with you for a while? These woods are dangerous. I mean, if you don't want the company that's okay too." She shifted a bit and slung her bow over her shoulder. While her ability to deal with strangers had improved significantly over these past few weeks, shyness was not something that was completely cured overnight.

It's such a beautiful afternoon! Birds are chirping, the sky is clear... And the smell of blood is in the air. Just a few yards away, a battle was just ending. An amusingly one-sided battle between a condemned hunter and the ever merciful Raven Shade. It was a short one, as now the poor human man was pinned to a tree, the sword end of Harbinger run through shoulder.
[glow=purple,2,300]"Heh... Curse your fate for having been born in this world... Shame your fate for running into me."[/glow]
He then pulled out Harbinger and with the grace of an Oocca, switched ends and struck the man in the neck, ending him. The Raven Shade was amused still, seeing how much damage he was causing. All for the greater good. His eyes were glowing behind his Flight Mask that was repaired from his battle with Dekethorn, and his narrow black wings had taken to being part of the ensemble, the feathers becoming frayed and tattered, yet still able to fly with perfect efficiency. He knelt down and dipped Inquisitor in the blood, drawing his calling card on the tree that was pierced.

"These woods being dangerous is the reason why I go for small ones here." It made sense in a way but surely there'd be better prey on the fields than in this place? If she was going to hunt larger prey of course, though perhaps the woods was a good enough place to hunt, hide, and a great many other things.
"I hunt from the air and I land only to collect. I than you for your concern." The girls voice was quiet and the auburn haired fairy felt a slight pang of guilt, why did she sound like she was apologizing in some way? All he wanted was for the stranger to stay safe, it saved him trouble in the long run and saved them the possibility of getting hurt.
"Would you...would you like for me to walk with you for a while? These woods are dangerous. I mean, if you don't want the company that's okay too." The girl had her bow over her shoulder as he turned to look at her sideways. Blue wings shimmered and their sparks fell to the ground below.
"As you can see I'm fine on my own... However if you want to walk with me I have no qualms with it. Do as you wish, I can lead you out of here on foot."
[/b] The words came in a docile tone though he flinched slightly. The smell of blood was seeping, filtering in on the air, the breeze or what little breeze that there was in the woods today. It wasn't animal blood either, he had killed enough to know, that smell was the blood of something else. Shifting he instinctively moved closer to the female. Blade and shield held firmly in his grasp. Doing what he thought was his duty. Protecting someone else. An innocent person from whatever happened to be around at the time. "Can you smell that or is it just me?" A quick question that he wanted answered just as quickly. Depending on her answer? He'd start leading her out of the forest using different paths that others generally wouldn't use, if only to lose whomever or whatever was in the woods. Or at the very least, make it harder for them to find him and the girl.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

"I can fly out, but I will keep you company for the time being." A slow smile started to cross her face but quickly faded as she caught the scent, noticing it just a moment after Rhoam had. She narrowed her eyes and scanned the area.
With the glasses she wore it was easy enough to spot Zolanius through the trees and she pointed the location out to Rhoam while she pulled the bow off of her shoulder. She quickly drew an arrow and placed it on the string but did not pull it back just yet.
She looked over to Roam and leaned in close so that she only had to whisper. "It's a male Oocca. He just killed a human, also male." She frowned as she continued to watch, guiding Roam in the right direction to go in order to put more distance between themselves and the confrontation. "He's marking the tree with some sort of symbol."

As he was marking the tree, something pulled his attention. We have company... Behind you... Zolanius reacted by quickly turning and aiming Inquisitor at the two strangers, but held his fire when he saw the fairy. It was obvious with the wings, bit the Oocca was less noticeable. He kept Inquisitor aimed at them, and by their motion, thought they were flanking him. So he moved in the opposite direction, making the two parties appear to rotate.
[glow=purple,2,300]"You had better keep moving... I have more deaths on my agenda, and I don't need to have any interruptions.[/glow] He was then beginning to back away, into the trees. Anyone who knew the layout might notice that he was now on his way to Ordon. One can only imagine how well defended such a small village is.

"I can fly out, but I will keep you company for the time being." He would have possibly smiled had it not been for the scent of blood.
"It's a male Oocca. He just killed a human, also male." Rhoam felt his eye twitch slightly. That was something he didn't like the sound of. Had he heard the commotion earlier? He probably would've gotten involved. Watching the woman he held his ground.
"He's marking the tree with some sort of symbol." So now the fairy had a choice he could either make it his problem, or just, look the other way and continue what he was supposed to be doing. Playing courier for someone. His instincts told him to leave the matter alone and just let it go, however his good nature was trying to force him to ask questions.
"You had better keep moving... I have more deaths on my agenda, and I don't need to have any interruptions." He was being aimed at and his wine colored eyes fixed on the Oocca.
"Do not aim a weapon at a person unless you intend to use it..."
[/b] His eyes shifted in shade, darkening a little as he watched the culprit. "Perhaps you can stay a little while and explain why you killed that man in this forest of all places... Also it wouldn't be wise to head towards Ordon..."[/b] The last part of what he said was kept low. Rhoam wanted to know why. Why the death and why the other was heading off in that direction. Eyes always fixed on the Oocca just in case he needed to move and quickly. "Miss... I think it might be wise to take your kill and leave... My name is Rhoam if you need to find me at a later date..."[/i] Words that were kept quiet so that only the female could hear him. He didn't want her to get hurt because he was invoking the wrath of an enemy he didn't know.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

"My name is Adela Baxter. I will go but I expect you to not get yourself killed." She hated to lie like that but she did not know how well the Oocca could hear. Adela leaped into the air and took off, flying up over the tree line before wheeling around and flying to a position where she was most hidden by the trees.
Once she was sure she was relatively well hidden, she pulled an arrow back and began hovering in place. She kept her eyes on the two of them, able to see through the trees with her glasses. Adela was somewhat capable of reading lips and would use that as a means of following the conversation for now.
She was not sure that the trees would keep her presence completely hidden from the Oocca male but there was no way that Adela could leave someone behind to face an enemy on their own. However, since she was best at a range it was not outside of her moral code to make them think that she had left and act as aerial support.

[glow=purple,2,300]"I don't need to explain myself to the likes of you. Let's just say I was doing the world a favor. I'm about to do it again when I get to Ordon."[/glow] He lowered his Inquisitor, confident that he shouldn't have to get violent. As per agreement with Titania, Queen of Fairies, the Raven Shade's activity cannot be disturbed by a fairy. There was always the possibility that this one may not know of that agreement, but that would only give Skeith an excuse to become freely hostile.
He then jumped and flew through the air in a sort of rocketing motion, his spread, tattered feathers filling a portion of the sky, and he could see the Oocca girl. [glow=purple,2,300]"Recommend both of you avoid Ordon for a good while! After all, you wouldn't want to get caught up in the mess!"[/glow] With that, he lazily turned his back and floated away, resting his Harbinger on his shoulder.

My name is Adela Baxter. I will go but I expect you to not get yourself killed." He gave a nod at her request. That was a promise he'd have to keep now, he didn't make promises that he wouldn't keep. So in effect, he may have to let this, rogue go about his own business not that he liked that idea. At all.
"I don't need to explain myself to the likes of you. Let's just say I was doing the world a favor. I'm about to do it again when I get to Ordon." Rhoam's eyebrows furrowed, his eyes turned steely and his what can only be called a martyr or perhaps even a hero complex was starting to kick in. Even if his instincts told him to let it go, he... Couldn't.
"Recommend both of you avoid Ordon for a good while! After all, you wouldn't want to get caught up in the mess!" The other was off and Rhoam gritted his teeth before he too launched himself from the grounds.
"Explain to me why I should let you go? You killed a human in the Faron Woods, that's Kokiri and fairy jurisdiction. You shouldn't be allowed to wander if anything you should be slung in front of the queen for judgement." He expected at least a few words of explanation, he had no idea of the agreement between both the masked villain he saw here and his oh so noble queen. Or at least whom he thought was noble.
Though his attention turned to Adela and he grimaced.
"I'm only asking him a question, I don't intend for this to end in bloodshed, so... Don't worry." Words that sounded confident in their own right, after all the way Rhoam looked at this? If the man who was leaving intended to kill him? Then he would already be fighting.

As she saw the Oocca rising into the air, she released the tension on her bow but did not put it away just yet. Her eyes trailed along his wings and she could not help but notice they were black like hers. It did not hold much significance for her, just a passing mental note. She had no ties to what Oocca family she might have and by now cared little if she did obtain any.
She drifted to the side as Roam came up to join them above the trees, putting herself in a position such that the three of them formed an equilateral triangle. "Why do you want to kill? Surely there is a better way." It was one thing to kill a dangerous monster or to kill a small animal for dinner, but killing a man in cold blood was not something that she understood, or even wanted to understand.

He looked down and placed Inquisitor on his mask in a sort of face-palming motion whist shaking his head. Some people just don't listen.
[glow=purple,2,300]"I already said..."[/glow] He spoke as he turned towards them, head tilted to the side. [glow=purple,2,300]"I don't need to explain myself to the likes of you! What you say about juristiction, this IS my juristiction! You may not know who I am, and that's a big problem for you. You are looking at the one and only Raven Shade. Titania herself has sanctioned my actions, and thus I have diplomatic immunity. If you don't touch me, I won't kill you..."[/glow]
His glowing yellow gaze then focused on the young Oocca. [glow=purple,2,300]"As for the killing, how else am I supposed to exterminate vermin? Look at you two... You are capable of flight, you two have great power. You're better than all those who poison what the Godesses gave unto us. I'm doing this for the greater good.~"[/glow]

Rhoam kept his eyes on the being before he spoke of actually being allowed to do what he pleased! The fairys eyes widened, he couldn't believe what he was hearing! Why would the queen make an agreement that caused so much bloodshed!? It was almost impossible to believe but if that was the case then Rhoam would stand down, not that he liked the idea. At all.
"Very well... Be gone with you then..." The only thing that Rhoam managed to say, sighing as he did. It went against his nature but he was honor bound to what the queen stated. If it was indeed true that the queen had allowed this 'Raven Shade' to wander and do as he pleased? Then Rhoam had no choice but to accept that and just swallow his pride for now.
Though he would be checking. Most certainly.
He closed the gap between himself and the female Oocca before he nodded to her.
"Let him go... I'm sure... The queen had her reasons for allowing him to wander...." A slow nod, he was trying to convince himself that it was true. Though maybe he was naive? No, he already knew he didn't like letting the man go, however it was a necessary thing. As now? This fairy would try and get an audience with the queen herself and report this to her, if only for his own knowledge and to confirm what this Raven Shade had indeed said to him.

Adela seemed taken aback, dumbfounded. A royal had sanctioned such violence? Adela had very little experience in politics. Having been a servant her whole life such things had never been her place so she had no idea if that was considered normal or not. When she looked to Roam she took his expression to mean that it was most certainly not ordinary.
Reluctantly, she put down her bow. She did not want to create a political incident by starting a fight, especially when it was one she would likely lose. "Is that it then, Roam? We just let him go to kill more people?" There was sadness in her tone but also something more, defiance perhaps?
"Even if she has her reasons it's not right!" She looked to the Oocca and shook her head. "Just because we can fly doesn't make us any better!" Granted a lifetime of being treated as sub-par by all but her employer did not help. If anything she considered herself to be below most.

[glow=purple,2,300]"You poor girl... It's not just the flying. It is said that the Oocca were created closest to the Goddesses. They built an immaculate city floating above the clouds while the rabble are stuck on the surface, poisoning the creation of the Goddesses. And you don't feel that you're superior? Perhaps you should travel with me, and learn how this is necessary for avenging the Goddesses and their creation."[/glow]
He turns his back on them once more, smiling behind his mask.
[glow=purple,2,300]"I thank you for not stopping me. In the end, you would have saved several lives by honoring the contract. Please, learn to love life as I rescue yours from the ones unworthy of the land they live."[/glow]
He then takes flight immediately, flying towards Ordon, hoping that they might actually consider his words to be truth.
