Shapeshifting Typical of any Minish you come across, Malique is naturally capable of animal transformation. His animal being a somewhat ordinary lion, the coloring isn't quite that normal though. But he is a large creature and is very much deadly, as his attacks do one extra level of damage. You might not want to provoke him, otherwise those huge paws might rip you to shreds. This form only lasts for three posts and then has a cooldown of three more posts.
Invisibility: Like all Minish, Malique is able to temporarily turn invisible, meaning the enemy cannot target him in the next turn; if he finds himself in an area-of-effect attack, he's still vulnerable, however. Meanwhile, a physical attack used while Invisible deals more damage than usual (an extra level of damage). Invisibility only lasts for one turn, and has a cooldown of five posts.[/ul][/blockquote]
HISTORY,
Despite how nice he usually is, you might end up ruffling his fur the wrong way if there is any sort of prying towards his past. As it's just something he isn't all too enthusiastic to ever speak of. Not that too much had occurred that might have seemed tragic, but there were a few bad memories he'd just prefer not bringing up if he can help it. Then again, there were plenty of good memories too, so it wasn't all that bad. But he doesn't see any reason why anyone would want to know, since it's not much of an impressive story.
All throughout most of his life, Malique had grown up in the quiet, green enviornment that was the forest. Living in the Minish village was relatively peaceful, although that might not be a very accurate term to best describe it. Since for him, there was never a day where he didn't cause some form of trouble with his little adventures. whatever peace there was pretty much always got disturbed by this young child, as he normally ended up getting scolded by the adults if he got caught in the act. Not even his father much approved of such antics whenever the villagers complained, there wasn't much that could really be done even after having tried to be stern and teach him better behavior. As bothering to listen to the older man ramble never really came to mind, his vivid imagination keeping him distracted. Even his big sister had a hard time keeping up with his wild attitude. But where was the mother? Unfortunately she had died when he was just a baby, so he pretty much doesn't remember her at all. Since that was the case, he never really seemed to be at all bothered by it. His sister did speculate that without their mother around, taming that rebellious nature of his simply became a more difficult task. Which became obvious when Malique started to quickly resent any authoritative figure that talked down to him and tried to make him behave, namely his own father too. Even after growing up, both of them never really got along very well, as they rarely ever talked aside from harsh arguments. Even though he used to try playing with the other children often, 'friends' were something that he never really had. Since the parents who didn't much approve of the way he normally acted always tried whatever they could to prevent their own children from learning such behavior. On the outside, he pretended it didn't bother him one bit when he ended up being alone, but honestly, he did feel lonely whenever that happened. Trying to act tough, he always resorted to hiding how he really felt. With the lack of any friends, it was only his sister who was around to comfort him. Even after trying his best to not show how he really felt, his sister always knew, and sometimes lightly teased him about it. Which would always get the response of him pretending to be offended and whine in protest, but both of them knew better as they would laugh afterwards.
So she was the only one he ever really got along with as they grew up, and was therefore only used to talking to her about things. Whatever relationship he should have had with his father didn't seem to exist, as just having both of them in the same room is like walking on eggshells. Concerning whatever nonsense Malique stirred up back when he was a child, eventually slowed to a stop as he got older. But naturally, he was stubborn, just like father. And despite the efforts of his sister in whatever attempts she made to get them to at least get along better, never worked out very well. Everything between the two of them still remains rocky territory. Constantly exploring his home for several years, the idea of leaving the forest always did sound like a good one. Mainly curious of what was out there, he held a desire to go an see the rest of the world beyond that village, as he sometimes hung around at the outskirts of the forest staring out at the world beyond. Even after putting up with remaining in the village for about eighteen years, there was still his only sibling to consider as he hesitated. It's hard to say just what convinced him to leave, when he did though, his father and only sibling were never told beforehand. Malique has found the world beyond the forest to be rather interesting, so far he hasn't ever returned to the Minish village in two years, and doesn't intend on going back.
