PERSONALITY,Who is Tabula Rasa, really? The name itself says it all. Tabula Rasa is nobody, she is a blank slate erased of a past, erased of all that she was. So who was she? She was a girl like all other girls. She grew up with typical child-like fantasies, a longing for ponies and a taste for adventure. Or was she? Nothing about T.R. could ever have been normal, so why would she like ponies? They were pretty, sure, but they were plain, they bled like everything else and ran from fire. But they’re pretty!
Where was I? Or were we? Now I’m confused. Well anyway, T.R. is not something that can be summed up in words. Even though I’m trying to do that now. She’s unique, she’s interesting, she’s intimidating, she’s . . . well can you think of an adjective? Yeah, that probably applies. It’s not all terrifying, as she does have her friendly moods, too, and happy. Especially with ponies, they make her feel giddy. They’re pretty, they graze, they’re friendly and the look in their eyes as their life fluid seeps through the slit in their neck is like nothing else.
Now, ponies aren’t all the blood and gore. People have a much better look in their eye. But bloodletting is far too quick, see, there’s no pleasure in it. Fire is fun. Fire allows them to scream, allows them to feel the pain and the helplessness as they try to do something about it but realize it’s all hopeless. Fire fills the air with the song of death and . . . what was that about ponies? You say you have one? Yay!
Well I guess I didn’t really tell you much about T.R. But there’s so much to say. I could go on for quite some time and still not cover all the ground. She’s quite the complex creature, and a complete master of the mind. She can **** you up deeply, if she wanted to, which she usually does, but she’s a really good friend, too. I mean, like I said, she’s very complex and stuff, but can be easily appeased by ponies.
PONIES!
APPEARANCE,
look at how awesome vio makes things!
T.R.’s outfit has changed quite a bit. First and foremost one could notice that her outfit is remarkably more skimpy, leaving very, very little to the imagination. What she calls an outfit is a very ragged green shirt, kept somewhat in shape by fangs weaved into the fabric. Around her neck is a collar, which links to shoulder straps that are attached to her sleeves. The sleeves then fall into her infamous clawed gauntlets.
Meanwhile at her waist are the starts of remarkably short shorts and a belt, that quickly end, leaving bare flesh for a moment before the start of her thigh-high leather boots. The boots end in high heels with metal guards over the front. Despite the heels, the boots never seem to get in the way of T.R.’s extraordinary ability to manoeuvre in every which way.
Finally, the biggest change, might be T.R.’s hair. Namely that it’s now white, and instead of straightforward pigtails her hair is braided to the side, much like the bobbles on a jester’s outfit. Her features are still the same, her eyes still showing that glint where sanity should be and yet showing knowledge beyond what she should have. And her figure, her body, is still athletically fit and . . . robust in all the right areas.
WEAPONS,
OuroborosThis is an extremely unique weapon that few people in the world can wield, T.R. being one of those few. Simply put the weapon is a giant hoop with blades. Which is both a hilarious and terrify concept. Anyone who’s survived the other end of Ouroboros can say that it’s not hilarious in practice, and quite terrifying. As one would expect from a giant flying bladed hoop.
Demon ClawsThese metal gauntlets wrap around each of T.R.’s fingers end tip them with a deadly sharp claw. The gauntlets leave the bottom of her hands uncovered and free to move, and do not halt her movements in anyway, but they can be used as quite the deadly weapon. Furthermore the metal continues to wrap around her wrist, capable of withholding a standard blade in much the same way as a buckler. The gauntlets hold a special power that let them fully ignite into fire at the will of the wearer. (currently this is purely for flavour and will be adjusted in Revamp Part 2).

ABILITIES,
(Two slots to use in Revamp Part 2)
RACIAL ABILITIES,
Intuit Manipulation
T.R. is a master of the workings of the sentient mind. Thus she is able to intuit much from a person’s mannerisms, their habits and their dress. However this is not always enough for her to truly know the people with which she interacts. Because of this she has developed a form of psychic intuition based on how much interaction she has with any one individual. In terms of roleplay this ability has two different triggers.
Through conversation and general interaction with an individual she can learn the contents of the player’s History section in two posts, and the events of their roleplays after four posts of interaction. To clarify she only learns of the events, not the thoughts of each individual, though such can be determined often through dialogue. The second trigger is through physical interaction, which creates a stronger link. In two posts of physical interaction (skin on skin) T.R. can learn both the History section and the events of the roleplays.
When it comes to LS style battles this translates into an intimate knowledge of the player’s combat style. After four posts T.R. can activate this ability. When activated she picks an ability on cooldown and that cooldown is effectively reset. After used this puts Intuit Manipulation’s active ability on cooldown for three posts.
HISTORY,
Tesa was born to a happily married couple. They were interracial, so they were frowned upon, but they were a young couple happily in love and didn’t have a care in the world. All the frowns bounced off that invincible, impenetrable shield of fresh love. So of course when Tesa was born, she was a welcome addition to this idealistic bubble of love. It was what was outside that bubble that was really threatening to a newborn hybrid and interracial couple.
It’s bad luck to have a woman aboard your ship. It’s even worse luck to take a pregnant lady aboard, but that didn’t stop Emile’s father from taking his wife with him when he was taken on as first mate of a cargo ship in the sea around Hyrule. It was there, on that ship during one particularly fierce storm, that Emile was born. And that was why for the rest of her life as Emile, she was referred to as the Daughter of the Storm.
Once upon a time there was a young orphan girl named Kylii. She lived in the streets of Castle Town and had an overly good life for an orphaned street urchin. Whatever happened to her parents? That’s another story, completely irrelevant toward Kylii’s story. They were simply the genesis of this story, and as with all parents, they created her. Enough said; no need to bother there.
Her family raised her with all the love she deserved, but their small village had only one small school and a hybrid child was the target of all jokes. Tesa quickly became able to defend herself, as there were countless larger boys who just wanted to take a piece out of her. And it only got worse as she grew up and developed. They wanted more than just a piece of her, and her parents were under their delusional fantasy of a love-filled world.
Liza was born. Simple as that. She grew up with her parents in an ancient archive full of great tomes and books dating back before living memory, before history. This was what Liza grew up with. This was her world, and she was fully immersed in it. She learned the languages, she learned how to fill in the blanks for books that were faded by time. And she learned much about the world. It wasn’t the best of lives, as it was reclusive and hermit-like, but it was hers.
She was raised at sea then, learning to sail a boat. She was taught the cutlass, taught her knots, taught how to fish and to generally survive. She could read the weather, tell by the stars where they were and much more. From her mother Emile learned to read, learned her subjects. Every time they entered a port she would make a point of getting new books, and her library grew quite huge. So big half the time she had to sell old books to make room for new ones.
Kylii stole what she needed, had many friends and connections, and life was generally in her favour despite her situation. But alas, all good things must come to an end. With her friends she lived a good life, but when a new regime swept over the guards as the town guard captain was replaced. The new captain decided it was necessary to cut down on the number of street urchins in the street, and Kylii’s life of freedom was cut to a quick end.
The problem with the sea is it is very hard to maintain law there. Pirates ran rampant, and living on a cargo ship was asking to be boarded. Which it was. The pirates came in fast, killed anyone who got in their way and took the women. They stole the cargo and sunk the cargo ship, along with Emile’s father. And then she had to watch her mother violated in front of her, one by one, before her turn came around.
Until their house was set on fire. One drunken night—it was a village festival, everyone was drinking—certain hostilities broke free. Turns out fire burns bubbles and Tesa’s family finally realized the hate that was coming their way. Tesa, fortunately, was off enjoying the festivities, as she had long since learned not to let the teasing and racism bother her. So while her parents burned alive in each other’s’ arms, Tesa was having fun. But there was a drunken surprise waiting for her, too.
She loved the books and read them all. An entire library in a spire dedicated entirely to keeping ancient tomes. That was her entire life as she slowly matured into a woman, with no one but the other acolytes and her parents. She had friends, but the only thing they had in common was that they lived in the spire together. It was a lonely existence, but Liza enjoyed it and grew to a lady in that world.
They were quick, but they were rough. There was nothing pleasurable, there was no escape. They were in and out and left her in the brig for when they were feeling the need again. Her mother fell into shock, and despite her own ordeal, Emile had to take care of her. Over the course of the next few weeks the pirates repeatedly took the women, until one night one got overwhelmed by it and ended up killing her mother.
While out and about at the festival she was ambushed by several guys. She was perfectly capable of handling herself, but they had the numbers and the drunken courage to see through their stupid ideas. They held her down and took their turns, taking their time, making it last. Eventually Tesa fell into herself, blocked out the pain, and in a weird way even began to enjoy it. When she accepted that it was inevitable, she found herself some pleasure where she could. Not in the act itself, but the thoughts. Thoughts of what she would do to these men whose DNA now tainted her.
Except one of the acolytes stumbled upon a book deep in the dungeons of the spire. Liza had read it long ago and put it there with hopes no one would find it. The acolyte found in the book dark spells, black magic and the secrets of summoning things that should never be summoned. She wasn’t sold on the seriousness of it all, and decided it was worth a shot. She gathered the materials in secret and started the ritual.
The new guards patrolled her usual runs, blocked off many of her sources for food and clothing. Without it she was reduced to the kind of behaviour typically attributed to street urchins: stealing. She stole what she wanted and managed to get by, but realizing they weren’t getting much success, the new guards changed things again. Unfortunately this happened too quickly for Kylii to adapt, and she was caught by the guards.
She woke up the next morning in the remnants of her home. Shock ruled her as she woke up and straightened herself out. And then she saw the smoldering remains of her parents, and everything cracked. Tesa decided then and there that these people need not exist anymore, and that she would no longer herself, would destroy herself. Fire cleansed the village, cleansed her mind, and Tesa was no more.
Dark creatures descended upon the spire. Darkness followed them as they swam through the hallways, extinguishing all light and life they came across. The acolyte was the first, and they worked their way up through the spire. This particular night Liza was up late reading, and so she was able to hear the screams of some of the other denizens of the archives. This was the only thing that saved her, as she outran the demons to the top of the tower.
They took her to their dungeons and threw her in a cell. The food was absolutely miserable and it was dank and horrible. Kylii was stuck down there for several weeks before the guards decided to turn her into their plaything. They dragged her out of her cell, strung her up by her wrists and began to torture her. They didn’t ask any questions, nor did they say much. It was all a sick game they were playing; her screams got them off and they kept doing it, growing more and more bloodthirsty.
It was too much for Emile. She could bear the raping, but witnessing it killing her mother, Emile snapped. When the pirate came for her she knew she couldn’t fight back, so she gave him what he wanted. She gave him everything and more, until he was completely spent, too weary to stop her from grabbing his knife and maiming him. Everyone else on the ship followed, and Emile didn’t finish until she was in the water watching the entire ship burn, prisoners and all.
Eventually it was too much. Kylii snapped. She could bear no more. With a twist of her wrist she broke her thumbs and slipped from the shackles when the guards weren’t watching. Using their own tools of torture she killed them all. How? Well this tale isn’t that gruesome, but know that this being who was more gore than flesh was no longer human that night and the people who found those guards in the morning were almost immediately sent to an asylum because they were so traumatized.
There on the top, surrounded by the darkness, Liza fell into herself. The dark secrets of the book shone through her own mind and she unsummoned the demons, but not before one of them took her sanity with her. Once she had fallen into herself, Liza never returned. She became a shell of impulse and insanity, that nothing can control. And a demon of her own.
