Prisoner (Finished)

After a long trek from the Pirate's Bay, the caravan had reached Gerudo Fortress. Ruma, prisoner in tow, left the wagon and brought Jin inside the fortress. The guards didn't ask too many questions. They knew what to do with the prisoner.

"Move along prisoner" she declared with a giggle. She was still amused about this.

Eventually she reached the throne room, where her cousin was. It was kind of a laugh to see Ruma arrive with a prisoner. She greeted Merik and introduced Jin to Merik.

"Hi cousin. I found an intruder and brought him here. I thought you might want to see him."

[Jin Reno]

Jin kept quiet through most of the adventure from the ocean through the desert, and even going through the fortress he kept quiet. By the time they had reached the Throne Room, Jin was feeling just a bit bored with the entire situation. However, upon seeing Merik, Jin gave him a slight bow, a respectful gesture, before sideways waving to the King of the Gerudo.

"Hey Merik, how have you been?" Jin asked, a slight smile on his face, his arms still tied behind his back even though he carried his gear with him over his shoulder. "So... yeah... well, how are things?"

[Merik Dragmire]

Merik looked bored as the two entered the throne room, lounging with a leg across the coiled body of his throne. Upon first glance the man that Ruma had apparently captured looked familiar but he couldn't place him though by the man's words he did know the King.

"I'm drawing a blank. who are you?" he asked as he stared at the intruder before it sank into place. "Oh yes, you helped with the Witch attacks on the islands...I thought I repaid that debt by letting you live after you were ogling my grandmothers like they were cheap whores...so why exactly are you here now? Why is he here Ruma?"

Ruma nodded, confirming the story Jin told earlier. However, she also whacked him upside the head. "You ogled our grandmothers like cheap whores. Yuck! They're, like, 250 years old. Oh right, fountain. Anyway, he wandered into the Floating Frigate and we were talking about tech when Kotone tried to jump him from behind, then he started to run, but we eventually captured him after he saved me from a crippling injury. I figured I'd bring him here and do...something. I guess I wanted the opinion of the king. He is a human gentry after all and I know how you feel about killing people with titles. So here he is, Jin Reno. You want to get him working in mess or should we throw him in the dungeon for now?" She removed his bucklers and any weapons and gave them to another guard. Then she released his hands so he might actually move them about again.

[Jin Reno]

Jin blinked as he was hit in the back of the head. "Ow..." He muttered before watching Ruma explain everything to Merik. "Well, I took a boat and just kinda floated along until I found a half mountain. My boat took me there, I climbed up the side and saw a neat town. I explored it, found a place to eat, and started to talk with Ruma. That pretty much it." Jin said, shrugging his shoulders.

When his bucklers and shield were handed off and his hands freed, Jin took his bag off and put it on the ground next to him before stretching his arms out a bit, and flinching when they stretched out just a little too far."After that, there was a small chase through the streets, ended with Kotone cornering me and I thought it would be brilliant to break the floor beneath me and fall to safety below, so Kotone decided to help, in some sort of plan which she knew what was up,"

He continued, "though Ruma came into the alleyway too and the ground cracked open. I was sure Kotone and I, unbothered, would have landed without harm, but I wasn't sure about Ruma, since, no offense, she didn't seem to have the normal Gerudo build. So I caught them both to keep them safe, I was just having fun adventuring after all." He rubbed his ribs softly before shrugging to Merik in a way as if too say 'you know.'

"I would like to keep all my limbs and my life... and possibly explore things and check out what Ruma's been working on. I figured that the Gerudo people and the Humans could trade tech as a peace seeking type situation." Jin said, a little worried, "Plus, I am a damn good cook and someone fun to spar with." He added on, rubbing his wrists a bit.

[Merik Dragmire]

As the discussion continued Merik grew much more interested.

"Wait, wait, wait...hold on back up here...you found him at the Floating Frigate on Pirate's Bay? And he's one of Seraphina's lieutenants? Why in blazes did you bring him back here? You don't need my permission to kill anyone that intrudes at Pirate's Bay; you should have just slit his throat, dumped him in the ocean, and been done with it. No offense Jin but you've found out a secret no one is supposed to know and now you are a big liability." the King said, throwing a half-hearted shrug in the Gentry's direction before leaning back and looking at one of his guards. "Get my executioner, have the Human taken out into the desert, kill him and hide the body."

Ruma nodded as Merik went on, but her eyes widened at Merik's orders.

"Wait What? No, we can't just kill him, there has to be another way. Call off the executioner, please." She couldn't just reveal her feelings right here and now. She had to think of a logical reason to dissuade Merik from executing Jin.

"He could help me with my projects. He has knowledge of technologies I haven't seen, he's been around the human champion, a known technology whiz. At least he could be a live sparring dummy for the warriors. He's too useful, we can't just kill him off." She took off her helmet and scratched her head, trying to think of more potential uses for Jin.

[Jin Reno]

Jin blinked at Merik and rubbed the back of his head a bit, tapping the front tip of his sandal on the floor of the throne room. "Ahh... while I do understand what you are saying... I have got to say there is a big part of me that really wishes you'd reconsider this entire thing, because I really don't want to die just yet." He said, and smiled softly at Ruma as she came to his defense. He was glad he had an ally in this situation.

"I really think listening to Ruma is a good idea... I am really useful alive. I am smart and can do a lot of things." Jin said, keeping his composure. If it came down too it and he was brought out to be executed, he'd just have to find someway to survive, thats what he always did, survive. "You should know that I am a good ally. Ask... Ask Titania, she can vouch for me, we battled some strange rust, dust monster thing together."

[Kotone]

Kotone game form the docks only to get word she was in need to kill somone and hide the body in the desert. Which was fine it was not the first time she did something like this. Plus it help her with her anger problems lately after all. She came walking in the throne room with a patched up arm and few scratches on her. She stop to hear or rather see what going on. It seem Ruma was back to the main lady with the guy from before.

She was going to help him out that until he said one name that switch that rather fast. The guy knew the bug lady and she HATED the bug lady. Her pole arm hilt bang on the throne room floor as it echo off the walls as she enter. The guy could of said any other name but that one and she would still helped him out. However that name she headed big time. She wanted to kill that women and for a male to be on her side only meant one time. She came up and bow to Merik as she turn around and looked at her cousin then Jin mostly at Jin with disgusted for saying that bug's name.

'Who you want me to kill?' Kotone lips moved as she looked at Ruma. She knew she was going to hate this but she knew if she did not help out Ruma would nag her to death. She turn to Merik as she sighed and rub her neck. 'Look... I know it not part of the rules and all.. but how about Ruma's thing on the guy. so he can get shock or blow up if he tries to get away or something. That way he is Ruma's slave' Kotone lips moved as she knew she was going to regret it. She just have to kick the guy in the nuts for saying that witch name in this place.

[Merik Dragmire]

Merik wasn't sure why Ruma was so damn interested in keeping Jin alive...unless...

He focused his gaze on her and a distinct growl could be heard from him with what he was sure he saw. He was even more sure once Kotone joined in on trying to keep the human alive.

"FINE! Jin Reno, you are officially a prisoner of the Gerudo Kingdom and, if she can find something to keep you under control with, you are also my young cousin's slave. Don't give me cause to regret this decision because you are very much hanging by a thread due to sheer bad luck on your part."

[ruma]

Ruma breathed a heavy of relief. Despite Jin's mention of Titania, Kotone still managed to come in and help. She was grateful to both Merik and Kotone.

"Oh thank you thank you so much!" The smile plastered on her face was a telling sign of her feelings. She moved towards Jin and removed his bag from his person, as well as anything else he may be carrying. Giving them to another guard, she tried to sound authoritative, but could barely contain her giddiness.

"Please bring all of Jin Reno's belongings to my room for now." She then turned her attention back to Jin, tying his hands behind him again. "You, on the other hand, are coming with me. We're taking you to the cells until I can find a way to keep you under control."

[Mabari]

Mabari passed on by Jin and the group with little thought, as for all he was currently concerned about was catching some Z's. He had been playing with the children far to long today, and some of them had a habit of being to rough. Gerudo girls were much tougher than Human boys, this was a fact.


Mabari used the necklace, as always, to communicate with his fellow Crewmates. Although this time he was directly speaking to Merik, he figured they should all do good to hear his input. I fought three Wolfos as Peak Province with Jin. He has a strange fighting style, but a rather unique sense of kindness. I think you can trust this one, Merik. Although, I wouldn't put him any place that would allow for his escape yet. Tell him I said Hi.

Mabari looked to Jin and barked happily. It was wierd, seeing him at the mercy of Ruma. Humiliating almost.

[ooc: Just a short appearance, I figured it would be fine. x.x I saw Jin and couldn't pass it up.]

[Jin Reno]

Jin breathed a sigh of relief when the sentence was announced. As long as someone wasn't trying to kill him, Jin would be able to continue having adventures, though they seemed like they would be confined to the Gerudo Fortress, just for a little while. Jin gave a bow first to Kotone, thanking her silently, and then to Merik himself, giving him a bow with a bit more flourish. "I thank you for the chance you have given me, you will not regret sparing me. I always repay my debts." Jin said softly, before looking confused a bit as Ruma took his stuff from him.

He was going to say more, but then she approached him and once more tied his arms behind him, making Jin sigh. "Man... You know I'm not planning to escape, do I really have to be tied up like this?" He whispered to Ruma, hating not being able to move his arms around too much. Another person, or at least intelligent being, made himself known, by walking past him and some of the others. It took Jin a moment, but when he realized who it was Jin smiled.

"Hey Magic Fire Dog! So you made it off Peak Providence just fine, thats good! Are you a Gerudo or a Pirate?" Jin asked, knowing that he couldn't understand what it was Mabari was saying, but still happy that the canine was just fine.

[Kotone]

Kotone smirk at bit at Merik on how he acted. She knew there was more then one reason but she did feel bad for him as his related was fighting over a human. She will tell him later why she fought for the guy as she thought he make a perfect mate for Ruma. No only he was strong and smart but the ranking helps too. Plus this was Ruma its not like they see a perfect mate for her. Of course knowing her sister she might not be thinking about that.

As she took a step to Merik she stop as she heard something and soon saw something walking in on all fours. She blinks and looked at the dog coming in. Then she remember in a report she read that Merik let a wild dog in the crew. She thought it was a gag or something but it seem to be true he even wore a Pirate Charm. Which did not help Kotone as she did not wear one.

She saw the Charm flash then looked at Ruma then Merik wondering. However it seem she did not need to know as the dog turn to Jin and bark happily at him. It seem they knew each other as even Jin seem to know the dog. 'Well this is turning in to a good pirate crew' her lips moved and no sound came out as she looked at Merik.

[Merik Dragmire]

"Well it seems that you've managed to make a good impression on my family and some of my crew. Very well then Ruma take him, I'll probably have to kill him tomorrow but I suppose we'll leave that for fate to decide." Merik replied after Mabari padded in and gave his two cents.

After Kotone threw out her comment, the King played at being affronted.

"Turning into a good crew? My crew was always the best of the best, it's just getting better."

[ruma]

Ruma nodded to Merik. "By your leave, your majesty." She said it very officially despite the grin on her face. She turned to Jin, pushing up out of the room. "Probably not. But you're still my prisoner, and as such I will do everything I can to make sure you don't try anything funny. You're my first capture and I want everything to be perfect." She turned to Kotone before leaving, giving her a one-handed hug, holding Jin's rope with the other.

"Kitit Prika" was all she said before leaving out the door, being a little rough with Jin as she left, despite the ribs. She really needed to stop having fun with this.

[Jin Reno]

Victory for now, at least as long as he remained the good prisoner. Granted, it wasn't comforting when Merik spoke about killing him tomorrow, but Jin figured that was a worst case scenario type of situation, not his plan. "I'm a nice guy and true to my word." Jin just said as a last thing to Merik before Ruma began to lead him out, not being gentle as usual.

He nodded when she said he was her first capture and Jin just smiled a bit at that, giving Kotone a small bow, as well as Mabari and Merik, and let out an omph when Ruma pushed him again. "Ow..." He muttered in a playfully hurt voice as she led him out, actually hurting a bit due to the cracked rib he received.

Kotone kept her lips closed as she saw Ruma and Jin leave then turn to Merik as she smiled. 'I hope she mates with him. Her first slave' Kotone lips moved as she was so happy for her sister. She could not help it. It was always a bit deal for Gerudo women after all but mostly for Ruma. As she never show signs she was really a gerudo women. She was no strong or looked like them really. She colored her hair and all so yeah.

[Merik Dragmire]

Merik watched as Ruma dragged Jin off with her before turning his attention back to Kotone once they were gone.

"Love is in the air it would seem." he said with just a hint of sarcasm. "Why couldn't she have just fallen for one of the pirates, they at least owe me their allegiance and then I could handle this security breach."

At least Kotone was pleased with the situation, it gave him a rather large headache. He was happy for Ruma but the entire thing was a giant mess.

Romy laughed a bit as he did not seem to happy still. She looked at the dog and nodded to him as she looked back at Merik. 'It take time nothing else... I'm sure Mara will have some kind of spell to brainwash him or wipe his thoughts away' her lips moved once more. she was right after all as Mara was good at magic and all. So there was no need to worry about something like this but he was King. He had to worry and he was not a worry wart like she was. The only thing she worrying right now if or rather when Ruma get pregnant.
