~ ~ Even with a few shallow holesI won't leave behind any tracesHyrule Castle. She had seen it risen in the distance whilst in town : and curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back. Needless to say, Ziva wanted in this place. And that's why she was currently breaking in : not that it would be obvious when a flying shape would cling to the roof and then slowly slide down. The girl had flew into the sky and picked the tallest tower to land on : from there, she took out some twined vines, made earlier, and kept it strong as she snuck down into the garden. Because that's where she wanted to be, did the green haired Kokiri girl. With a hop, she made it to the ground, successful, more or less. She was pretty sure she hadn't been seen : and in a cinch, she'd just fly away after sporing them to sleep. But that was all what ifs, as her heart seemed to be nervous, the girl crawling on the ground as to keep herself from being seen. She could hear the plants almost quizzically calling for her, but only, and only, when she was sure she saw so no one, did Ziva sit up, amongst a bed of flowers.
And then she opened her mind to the plants around her.
Almost immediately, she was assaulted with hundreds of greetings : a gentle smile on those lips of hers, she greeted as much as she could back. Soft fingers touched the petals of the closest feathers, a relaxed expression on that face of hers. Those green eyes looked over and seemed to be full of life, full of that childish innocence that belonged, not the corruption from the forest she lived in. Slight movements made her green hair bob, but nothing too bad. At first, it was hard to concentrate, but soon enough, Ziva lost herself in the warmth of all the flowers, a gentle feeling washing over her being. For the first time, she smiled earnestly, and honestly, feeling no sort of impulse like she normally did : just a pure calm that inhabited her, mind and soul. And for the first time, it could actually be seen that she was actually pretty soft.
And she looked truly gentle.

When she could find the time, the princess liked to monitor the goings-on of the castle. It was important for her to do her duty, yes, but it was equally important that she knew her people -- and the knights and soldiers who defended her people and her castle. Nor could she deny that she enjoyed the memories that washed over her as she strolled in the courtyard and garden, with two guards at her back.
She asked questions as they walked, inquired about their lives, their families, their hopes and dreams and aspirations. At first they were a bit uncomfortable discussing such things, but they relaxed soon enough; Loras, a blond youth who eerily reminded her of a certain someone (appearance-wise, anyway), was from Kakariko and had a sister and two brothers, and wished to stay in the Knights for as long as he could. Renly was older, taller, and dark where Loras was fair; he was an easygoing man, the youngest of three boys, and rather... flamboyant, both in nature and dress.
It was apparent that it would be a rather normal day, all things considered. At least, until they reached the depths of the gardens.
Her guards wanted to eradicate the trespasser immediately, but Zelda only held up a hand; this "threat" to the castle was but a green-haired girl, a gentle little thing who seemed to only be enjoying the flowers. To the discomfit of Loras and Renly, the princess moved closer to the girl and knelt in the grass next to her, careful to avoid stepping on any of the flowers.
"Hello," she said warmly, smoothing out her skirt. She certainly hoped that her guards wouldn't do anything rash.

~ ~ Even with a few shallow holesI won't leave behind any tracesThe flowers were like a field of peace. The sense of life and not that dead weight that she field at her home was new : it was like a light feeling in her heart, as the girl was sitting peaceful. However, a whisper of wind caused the girl to look up, those green strands shifting : those emerald eyes swirling like a deep abyss, as she looked at the figures, those eyes not holding the usual malice : it was more of a curious gaze. Watching the blonde woman walking across the garden, Ziva felt a sort of strangeness in her. The flowers were swaying, almost quiet as the woman was beside her, and gave a simple greeting. Ziva wasn't sure how to respond. After all, she was socially awkward if anything, as one of her fingers went down the side of a tulip, almost reflecting the light dew that still remained. With a sort of sigh, the green haired girl took another gaze at the woman beside her : she hadn't ordered her out, or anything. Who was this blonde girl, with those two men looking at her almost as if she was vermin? That stirred her ooccan blood, considering that it was always looking for a fight, almost wild in nature, untamed.
''This is your garden isn't it.'' she said quite bluntly, not even responding to the greeting : but her voice wasn't rude. It was actually very soft, as the feeling of life was still floating around her mind, and even help mute the disgust for humans that she felt around these people. Although, the ears of this blonde were different then most and even for a Kokiri, she could feel the magic power. After all, she had Occan blood : and they were attuned to magic. Although she could not know that really, it still factored into her own perceptions. After all, instinct had been her friend for years, the primary thing she used to stay alive. The plants were swaying softly, as Ziva closed her eyes, and took in a breath. With the gentle exhale, the girl looked at the plants. ''The garden really loves you.'' she said next, making another observation.
For someone near the ruler of Hyrule and with psychopathic tendencies to eat people.
She was surprisingly peaceful.
But it was a strange, new surprise.
Like all of Ziva's life lately.

Green hair, green eyes, pointed ears; surely this girl was one of the Kokiri. The last Zelda had heard, the race had an innate affinity with nature, which would explain the girl's attraction to the royal garden. The princess didn't mind, truly; however, her guards were somewhat less ambivalent towards the girl's presence. Loras' mouth had twisted into a scowl, and while Zelda could feel that part of Renly's mind was rather fixated on his fellow soldier, his previously lighthearted expression had dropped as soon as he realized a mere girl had snuck into the castle. It would be best, Zelda reasoned, to send them away. She did not wish for cruel words or - goddesses forbid - bloodshed, and so with a few soft words and gentle yet firm orders, she sent the two off. They were not happy with the arrangement, she could tell, but even if this girl was a threat, Zelda was safe enough. She had been personally trained by one of the best, after all.
She had not risen from her seated position, and so the princess turned back to the green-haired girl, curiosity glowing in her bright blue eyes. "Yes, this is my garden," she said simply, her hands folding in her lap. "Though you are welcome to stay here for a while, if you so wish."
The princess was curious about this girl's identity, but for the moment, she was much more interested in what she had to say about the garden. It... loved the princess? Admittedly, Zelda shouldn't have been at all surprised; reading minds wasn't exactly a commonplace skill, after all, so she should have been expecting the unexpected. "If it isn't a bother... what is it saying, the garden?" she asked, as if it were a completely normal question to ask a girl who had broken into the castle.
