One for the Dark Lord on his Dark Throne In the land of Mordor where the Shadows lie It was... rather sweet. Nightmare was just about to turn in for the night, he had walked into his treasury, prepared to turn into his true form, when he had noticed something. White and black on the largest pile of gold. At first, the Emperor felt enraged, had someone broken into his treasury and robbed him? Was he gonna have to rampage a certain Gerudo's fortress nearby? Fortunately, a quick count revealed that all was in its place, as it should be, but the new item was something that he hadn't really caught onto it before. Upon checking it, he realized what it was; clothing, and he had an idea of who it was. It didn't take him long to figure out that it was a bartender's outfit. A bartender was a rather menial position in this world, but she probably didn't know that. Plus, it was the thought of it that counted. Nightmare let the fabric run through his fingers as he smiled. There weren't any thoughts of victory, or how he was winning the challenge. It was just genuine gratitude. "You risked exposure for me... Midna..." Nightmare thought she had taken it right off a light realmer, rather than how she had really gotten it. He figured he would be nice. It'd only take a few minutes, but soon enough, he was in the get up. He was surprised how well it fit him. She must have taken the time to get something that she liked, and that fit him. How sweet. He exited the treasury, he was going to go find her. This was a nice gift. Even if it didn't fit an Emperor, he liked the fact she went through the trouble, not to mention that bartender outfits were still spiffy. He wandered the halls, wondering if she had already gone to bed or not.

Just shoot for the stars, if it feels right, then aim for my heart Midna was actually quite curious as to how he would react when he noticed the set of clothes she left him. It was quite a risky gamble - knowing that going into the treasury even just to put a set of clothes in there was asking for trouble. Then again Midna was a walking magnet of trouble~ She simply couldn't resist the temptation!
She did, however, picked a fine time to do it as well. It was late, and she just finished getting herself ready for bed. Midna was no longer dressed within her elegant robes, and skirt tonight. She wore a simple yet classy spaghetti strap nightgown, and her sunset locks were let down, flowing freely. She began humming a small tune as she strolled through the hallways. Where was the bedroom again?
"Hm?" she took a glance out of the corner of her carmine eye, "OooOooh~"
Midna turned her body around completely noticing a certain bartender. She glided on over to Nightmare all dressed up actually really liking that he wore it~! Now if we only had a bar to put him behind, then it would make the whole thing perfect. The princess smiled up to the Emperor loving him in the suit. "Looks good on you~" she complimented, "Where'd you get it?"

One for the Dark Lord on his Dark Throne In the land of Mordor where the Shadows lie There she was. Midna had apparently been wandering around the place, as they just happened to bump into each other. Midna remarked that he looked good in the suit, before coyly asking where he got it, as if she didn't know. Nightmare knew better though, she was the only one who would bother to get him a gift. Whenever the other monsters left him something. it was a challenge, saying that they wanted to kill him and take his place as Emperor. No one ever wanted to give him something. The only possible culprit was Midna, and there was no way he would let her convince him otherwise, as it just made no sense for it to be anyone else. Reaching out, he pulled Midna close to him in an embrace. He didn't even say anything as he did so, just pulled her into his arms. He didn't even notice what she was wearing, or how it might have looked to anyone watching at the time. He did feel the soft locks of her sunset hair brush against his cheeks though. It felt nice, and in a way, he didn't want to let go, though he couldn't bring himself to explain why. "Thank you..." He murmured. It felt nice to actually be treated like a person. It wasn't that he had a bad childhood or anything, but ever since he had become Emperor, people either challenged him or he had to hide his identity in order to live a normal life in the mainland. He asked himself though, why would she get him something in the first place? Why would she take the time to give him something nice, something that he liked. He figured he wouldn't push it, that for once he wouldn't rub it in or make a fuss of it. She was showing genuine kindness to him, why spoil something like that. Instead, he just tugged on the Princess a little more. It was clear that he was grateful, and that he was enjoying this.

Just shoot for the stars, if it feels right, then aim for my heart Who would have known an innocent little prank could turn into a... warm, and fuzzy moment~
To be quite honest, Midna didn't even expect this kind of result from merely laying out an outfit on top of his treasury. The gift itself was meant to be a bit on the silly side, but when she came to thinking about it, she probably should have taken into consideration that he might have thought of it as a gift out kindness.
The sad part about that though was the princess wasn't exactly the kindest person you'd ever come to meeting. While she knew how to act professional, doing so - alas - was a different story altogether. Still, all and all, she had to admit this was a nice turn of events this evening, might as well enjoy it to the fullest.
Her eyes widened a little from the sudden embrace. There was a slight rise in tension within her elegant frame feeling her body close to his. A connection had been made that Midna couldn't seem to fathom. An earnest, and grateful token of gratitude from the monster Emperor. The princess didn't realize until he uttered thank you that it came to her as to why he was being... exceptionally sweet. He must have taken her prank as a gift instead. How adorable! She just couldn't find it in herself to ruin the moment and curled up against his chest lovingly.
"You're welcome," she replied back. A smile forming upon her lips as her devilish eyes looked up to him finding his joy quite a delightful sight to see. An actual smile that lit up like the night filled with stars. No, not a grin, or a wry smirk... but a smile that escaped from the imprisonments of a leader, and revealed the person behind Nightmare Darklight, whoever he is.

One for the Dark Lord on his Dark Throne In the land of Mordor where the Shadows lie So it was a gift then. At least, that's what he had thought. He didn't know that she had meant it as a prank, and in truth, it was best if he never found out. He still found it sweet, and even heartwarming that she had bothered to get him anything. Nightmare wondered what to do now. He would have to do something for her right? Get something for her, right? It was the only way they could be even after this. But if he was to get her something, what would he even get her? What would she even like? He wasn't quite sure. Maybe he could ask her? She could at least tell him. Then again, it wouldn't be as big a surprise. And then he noticed what she was wearing. Nightmare's cheeks flared up. He hadn't even noticed she was wearing that, but he wouldn't really argue against it. Come to think of it, he doubted he would pull away either. He was rather content to hold her like this, especially if she was wearing that. As long as she didn't say anything about it, then he personally saw no reason to let go. Instead, he would just let the touching moment continue, and enjoy himself. After all, he was the Emperor of the Ainur, but in the end, Nightmare had to realize that he was just a mortal man, right? Right. Reason justified, there we go, he wouldn't think on it any further. Though what he would think on was why she did it in the first place. Nightmare snuggled the princess close to him as she curled up against his chest. This was just way too good to really pass up. "So why did you do it?" He would probe a bit though. But he wasn't annoyed, no. Instead, he'd just ask in a soft tone, and let her explain in her own way. Either way, he was pleased with their current situation, and he was genuinely touched that she had gotten him something nice. Bartender outfits were pretty snazzy after all.

Just shoot for the stars, if it feels right, then aim for my heart Agreed, bartender outfits are very spiffy~
Not that she was complaining or anything, but she did take note how much of a touchy feely kind of man he was. Still, she concluded that there was always room for a first time. There was first for everything, or at least on the princess's end. Especially with all that added up as of lately~ For the most part it had been quite an interesting experience to say the least. Nightmare has proven himself more than enough times that he's capable of keeping Midna on her toes.
She absolutely adored the way Nightmare began blushing. Did he finally realize what she was wearing? A soft girlish giggle escaped her lips. The silence in between them enticed a rather flirtatious question to escape from her lips. "What's the matter?" she asked coyly, "Is my beauty so astounding that its left you speechless~?" That playful, but affectionate smile of hers not once dissolved from her dark lips.
Turning the subject around to why she did it amused the Twilight Princess. She knew it would be inevitable that he would ask why she did it~ Her lashes fluttering a few times as she paused a moment to prolong the snuggling. She had to admit the attention was very nice~ "There's a first for everything," she answered, "Don't you agree?"

One for the Dark Lord on his Dark Throne In the land of Mordor where the Shadows lie Aw, she ruined the moment! She had to go and make a joke about their situation, which just killed the whole thing! His face deadpanned slightly as she joked about her beauty sending him into silence, though he didn't pull away from the embrace. He was still a mortal, and he knew that there were some things you just didn't pass up. Though he did smirk. "Astounded into silence? Aren't you confident." He said in jest. He still wasn't going to let her completely walk away from this, maybe. "I'm surprised you're wearing that out in the halls~" Though, there was still the fact she had gotten him a nice present. He did refrain from the joking though as his body just seemed to relax, perhaps easing into this situation at hand. "Though I really am thankful for the gift. You didn't have to, but I do appreciate it." Nightmare thanked her again. He still wanted to make things up to her somehow, but he wasn't entirely sure how he would go about doing that. What would she like? Well, the Fused Shadow, obviously. But maybe something that wasn't filled with dark shadows of death and destruction. But he was wondering one thing, maybe it wouldn't hurt to ask, as they were having a surprisingly tender moment. Nightmare pulled away from the princess. It didn't help dissuade him that what he figured he would do would probably throw her for a bit of a loop. He cupped her cheek with his hand, brushing a lock of hair behind her ear. "I am curious though..." He had to admit, he wasn't sure what he was doing at this point. Part of his head wasn't working right, or something. But he figured that if he did something stupid, he could always make it up later. For once, he would just go with the flow, and see what happened. "What would you do if I told you I was?"

Just shoot for the stars, if it feels right, then aim for my heart Confident? Yes, Midna was a very confident young lady. Be it youth that she feels as if she's invincible, or that she's never really had much difficultly handling not only others, but finding acceptance in herself, she was a strong individual. She was comfortable in her own skin, which should be something that most people needed from time to time. It was also the reason why she could go about the hallways wearing scantily clad nightdress. "I don't see you complaining," she teased coyly. As a matter of fact, she could obviously tell that he liked what he saw, but she wouldn't push it further. This wasn't about inflating each others ego, but rather, taking down the walls for a moment and sharing earnest moment together. It was different to say the least, but she didn't have any room to complain that she situation was any bit bad.
"If ever crosses your mind," she hinted softly, "I do like crystals~" She wasn't afraid to admit it but she did like shinies. Though she didn't expect him to return the favor, after all, this wasn't exactly how she had planned this encounter. It was a little something to throw out there~
Midna tilted her head slightly over to the side curious as to what was going on in his ever ticking brain. His words, indeed, threw her a bit in a loop to be quite honest. What exactly was he getting at? Apart of her wanted to say he wasn't sure exactly himself, but the other part of her was held back in picking on him. An eyebrow quirked up though - there was no doubt in her mind that she was quite interested in his question. "There are a few routes I could go with this," she answered, "I could laugh, but that would spoil the moment entirely, and you'd shoo away to bed. Or I could be appalled~"
The Twilight Princess was going to go with down the ladder for obvious reasons besides irking Nightmare away. Then again there were also a few other factors to keep in mind too. As a leader to one of the most notorious race of Hyrule, he had to watch his back, and it left no room for courtship. Assassins would try any means, even seduction, to take out the Monster Emperor. "Are you saying you've never had the chance to court a lady before?" she inquired. Note, the way she asked it was more suggestive than it came out to be. She was very interested now to how he would reply to that~

One for the Dark Lord on his Dark Throne In the land of Mordor where the Shadows lie She was right, he wasn't complaining about the current situation. Then again, he noticed that she wasn't complaining either. Though Nightmare was smart enough to realize that bringing that up just might spoil the whole thing, which he didn't want to know. There was something going on with this. He had the feeling this might actually go somewhere, and he wanted to see just where this would go, for better or for worse. So rather than end it right now, he let it go on, even playing along with her, just to see what would happen. He would however, keep the idea that she liked crystals in his mind in the future. Nightmare quirked an eyebrow at what she said she could do. Were these ideas that were running through her head? Was she just going to spoil the mood here and now? What a shame, he had been so curious as to see where it was going. But it appeared that those thoughts were unfounded from what she said next. But her question was something that he wasn't expected. Had he courted anyone? Well, if she meant sex, no, no he hadn't. If she meant dating though, he had once. But that went badly and ended with the two of them drifting apart and her shooting him at one point, but that was a story for another time. Though Nightmare was taken aback at her suggestion. He wasn't stupid, he had been able to pick up on her tone, and it caught him off guard. Was she suggesting... no, there was no way she could be, right? But if she was, did that mean he won? He was caught off guard to say the very least. He hadn't really expected her to counter with that. Nevertheless though, if it did mean what he took it as... maybe he could play along. "Well that depends, what do you mean by court~?" He asked in a rather flirtatious manner. He was curious to see just where this would end up going.

Just shoot for the stars, if it feels right, then aim for my heart Midna's smile curled up mischievously. This was certainly going to be an interesting topic to talk about. For one thing, Nightmare was playing along with the princess, actually going with the flow of the topic rather than shooting it down for something else. She would have thought by now he'd probably head for bed, but no~ There was something about this that they both could agree on: there was something momentous about this occasion. So she, too, wanted to see where it would lead. Be it out of pure fascination or something else drawing her piques to this like a magnet, she was enjoying herself.
"Have you ever had a physical relationship before?" she asked subtly. After all, it was quite vulgar to come out and ask have you ever had sex before. Who says that in this day and age, but she was curious at the moment. Then again, there was some scientific aspects about dragons mating that piqued her interest, but this wasn't the type of atmosphere to be bring that perspective up. "Or are you the type that waits until marriage?" she teased lightheartedly.
She knew that he's probably dated a few times in the past, but she wasn't interested in his past relationship. What she was most interested in was what kind of reaction he'd give to these sorts of questions being asked. These kinds of questions were good in the fact that she can challenge his confidence in terms of whether or not he was really as compatible as a person. Any sensible girl would want a guy who was confident in the sense that he knew how to treat a girl right, and take control when the mood was right~

One for the Dark Lord on his Dark Throne In the land of Mordor where the Shadows lie He had to admit, this was fun. Yes, he was playing along, but it was clear that she wasn't going to make it that easily that... easily. But at least he was certain now which kind of courting she meant, and he wouldn't lie, he was curious about where this would go. So he would keep on playing along, and whatever happened, happened~ "Ohhh~" He gave a seductive chuckle. "So what's what you meant." He acted as if this was some big surprised to him. But, well, he was wondering how far this would go before Midna called it off. If she didn't well, he wouldn't fight that either, as horrible as it made him sound. Hey. Dragon or no, he was still a mortal after all. Nightmare leaned in close, with a cocky grin on his face. He was having way too much fun with this, and he had no intention of shooting it down. "I haven't actually. And don't worry about the marriage part. My parents never really enforced such a thing on me." This was actually more true than one would think. His parents were very aware of the declining number of dragons, and made it clear that if he had a chance to mate and possibly help repopulate the race, go for it, marriage be damned. To them, preservation of their mighty race took priority over the morals that most humanoids, and apparently even the Twili, held sacred. Though now the Emperor was curious as to whether Midna had been courted or not. "What about you?" He asked upfront. She seemed like the type of person to have had a bit of fun before. Then again, one would've expected Nightmare to have slept around by now, and he hadn't, so one never really knew what could happen. Perhaps they would have another similarity. It would be an interesting thing to learn.

Just shoot for the stars, if it feels right, then aim for my heart Who would have thought a conversation on physical intimacy would get the Monster Emperor playing games with the Twilight Princess~ Ah, it was a certainly an interesting topic to discuss even if you weren't talking about the person before you. She couldn't help but smirk at Nightmare's exaggeration. What a ham~ He knew very well what she was talking about, but he wanted her to ask him openly about it. After all, one had to follow the saying, 'ask and you shall receive' in order to get what you wanted in life. However just because you ask for something, doesn't mean you'll like what you get in return. Princess, commoner, or whatever status you had these days, you always had to be careful with what you wish for after all.
"Oh really?" was her response. "Well, I should have thought of that one through, but it does make sense." Though there was one trivial matter about that aspect: intimacy. As mortal creatures, it is written in our genetic code that makes up most of our living entities to preserve in our natural instincts. When it came down to primal instinct, there was nothing intimate about mating for the sake of keeping a line of a prestige race alive. It could be seen as an act of pride, or desperation for the most part. Such thoughts brought a hint of sympathy for the unfortunate dragon.
Midna was well aware that she wasn't going to be able to escape the question being thrown right back at her. Hell, she didn't mind it one bit, as a matter of fact, she welcomed in. Her smirk widened to that deviant smile of hers. "I haven't either," she answered honestly, "I've never passed anything further than friendly flirting, or the occasional teasing. Nothing more, nothing less~" Midna wasn't a prude by any means. Nightmare could call her out on it if she was lying, but even then she'd obscure her reasoning more to have him pondering what exactly her intents were. The princess just found that if there was no form of attachment when you do the do, where's the fun in it?
"We only see people in that light if we're attracted to them." Midna noted carefully. Her carmine eyes dancing with amusement to how this situation evolved. Seeing that side of anyone else makes us feel uncomfortable. So society depicts to keep personal matters such as sexuality guarded carefully, behind closed doors; tucked away beneath the belly of society. Does that make the world a better place? Depends on what your viewpoints are~ It would seem that such matters hung on a very thin line between those who followed conduct, and those who didn't care what accepted morals taught them.

One for the Dark Lord on his Dark Throne In the land of Mordor where the Shadows lie And he had been surprised. He thought for sure she would've had some experience in the field before. But at least it had its perks. Namely, she wasn't making fun of him. For some reason, having sex seemed to be a right of passage for adulthood to young males in the land of Hyrule. It was something that he never quite understood and in a way, he had no intention of understanding it anytime soon. Then there were always the people that bragged non stop about it. Even he found those ind of people disgusting. He knew that it was meant to be an act of intimacy, something that you just didn't brag about out in the public. Though learning just how far she had went was something that surprised him quite a bit. She had never even kissed anyone? Really? Much less never dated? "I... honestly find that hard to believe. You must have extremely high standards, as I would think your people would at least be tripping over themselves for a shot with you." That really did stun him. She was positively gorgeous, and he seriously had no idea how no one had made a move, if that was the case. In the Light Realm, she would be branded as a heretic, a heathen, but she would be considered a bloody gorgeous heretic. She'd be one of those heretics who could get burned at the stake, and instead of being cursed, she'd be turned into a martyr. It seemed that it was a case of high standards though, as her next remark seemed that she just hadn't found a guy she considered worthy. Well, he wouldn't disagree with that. That just made her better. After all, it meant that she had actual standards, which he had to admire. To him, it meant that she was looking for something in the long run, something good. Though now he was curious. He chuckled a little in amusement. "So do you think I'm attracted to you, or are you admitting that you find me attractive?" He liked where this was going, why make it all stop?

Just shoot for the stars, if it feels right, then aim for my heart The world was filled with many surprises~ Nightmare found that out pretty quickly the princess wasn't as experienced as he thought she'd be. What she lacked in experience, however, she was educated by literature. Plenty of romance novels will do you in with the whole high standards as well~ Although it was guilty pleasure reading on her free time, it did set up the mentality within her head that she can have her cake, and eat it too~ No lies.
She was a strong believer in setting herself up for nothing but the best, because when it came down to it, everyone deserved the best in whatever it was they striven for. It wasn't that she was eliminating the idea entirely of having a potential partner in courtship, but she set the bar quite.
She wouldn't give her heart up that easily. The twili woman would be damned to ever let anyone make a fool out of her in the ins, and out of love. Waitaminute, we're digressing~ Could it you consider it happiness that neither of Nightmare or Midna were exactly conscious about each other? Maybe that wasn't the right description to say about this situation.
"People come, and go like seasons," she smiled softly. The sad thing about that was that it was true~ Her people saw her as a majestic leader who rules with a playful, yet calm hands to prevent her tribe from going completely anarchic. There had to be a fine balance somewhere otherwise all would fall into chaos.
"Hmm..." she raised a lithe blue-tinted hand up to cup his cheek, "How about a little bit of both?" She liked that alternative much better. A little bit in the middle sounded just about right to fit the answer perfectly. There was obviously nothing one-sided about what was going on.

One for the Dark Lord on his Dark Throne In the land of Mordor where the Shadows lie As much he hated to admit it, Midna was right. People came and go, and there were times where one didn't even know their name before they left, and then they were never heard from again. Then again, there were people that Nightmare would never like to meet again. Some people that just needed to go away, and stay away. But there were those that Nightmare valued, those that he cared about, and those he couldn't do without. In a way, Midna was part of those who he couldn't really do without. It wasn't every day that one could say that they met what amounted to be a genderbent version of themselves. Though her answer... wasn't what he was expecting. He had been expecting the answer that she thought he was attracted to her. Which he wouldn't deny, it existed. But would he call it love? ... Not yet. He did find her attractive, most people would. And he did find himself drawn to her, though there might be those that weren't. If such was the case, it didn't matter, he knew he was drawn to her and that was it. But the idea that she was attracted to him. Well, aside from the ego, boost, it seemed that things were working out better than he had though. He wondered, would things progress between them? Where would it ultimately go? She probably wanted an answer though, wondering what he was going to say. Well, he did have one answer, but well, it was risky, and it might have ruined the night, or possibly worse. Then again, considering she admitted she was attracted to him, things probably wouldn't go as badly as he figured they might have if she wasn't. It really did help though that she cupped his cheek. Things started to tense up for him however. His heart started to beat at a faster pace. Even having dated once did little to keep him from getting nervous. Maybe he could give in for at least one night... "Well then..." He murmured as his hand reached out to gently stroke her sunset locks. He still wasn't entirely sure he wanted to do this, or if he should have even been doing this. But, he moved in, and brought his lips to hers in a tender kiss. His cheeks flushed, and he was wondering what he was doing, whether it was a good idea, or just something really stupid. The Emperor however, couldn't deny that it brought a warm feeling, and her lips tasted sweet. As he pulled away, he tried to keep his composure, but he wasn't sure he was doing a good job at this point. "Why don't you prove it?"

Just shoot for the stars, if it feels right, then aim for my heart It was quite a hard thing to grasp, but it came with the persistent in existing. Life provided a rough road filled with people who'll come, and go in their lives. It was sad, but it was a fact that had to be accepted no matter how hard it'd be to live without the people one grew attached to. Nightmare found his way through the maze the princess has established, and held a hand for her to hold. Metaphorically speaking, that is. Taking those facts into consideration also meant the concept of taking the risk to let down those walls for another to come into her life. It had only just begun, but so much has tangled their fates together somehow.
This is probably the first time she's actually seen the Dragon Emperor overwhelmed with tension. It took a lot of willpower not to spoil the mood, and tease him but it was sure funny to think about it in the back of her brain. Her carmine eyes danced with mirth finding the tension pleasurable in its own right. She had an inkling suspicion that Nightmare was grown attached to her, but she wasn't a hundred percent positive up until now. He was the only one who had the nerve to ask to begin with so Midna had no quarrels giving him a semi-direct answer. He was bright one, and could figure out the rest~
Her eyes lit up when he stroked her elongated sunset strands. How gentle the tips of his fingers felt when they grazed against her skin was comforting yet exhilarating. She felt a hitch caught up within her throat as Nightmare leaned in, and pressed his lips against hers softly. An instant surge of energy rushed from the core of her frame, and sparks shot across her veins into her heart. Lowering her lids for the moment, she leaned in to return the favor~
Somehow she suspected something like this to happen, but it didn't stop her heartbeat increasing. Blood rushed up to her cheeks dusting them with a shade against her twilit skin as her form relaxed a bit. Though it was fleeting as he broke away, officially making the first move, and taking... what might as well be her very first kiss. Her eyes fluttered open half-way looking up towards the Emperor.
Prove it, he says. Her smile curled up upon her lips as she lifted herself up to her toes, lacing her fingers within his hold and leaned up to take back the kiss he stole a couple of seconds ago~ Was that enough evidence for him to work with? Midna didn't need words to help her with this. It was all in the slow, and steady start...
And from there, there was no guarantee where this would lead next.

One for the Dark Lord on his Dark Throne In the land of Mordor where the Shadows lie And well, she proved it. He should have known that she would, though he wouldn't dare complain about it. And why? Because he was enjoying it. He was enjoying her hand laced with his, and the taste of her dark lips was pure bliss to him. Was this his first kiss? No, it wasn't. And it wasn't the first time he had taken a first kiss. Midna however, meant quite a bit more in that department. To him, this was the best possible result he could have gotten. He was nervous that she would reject it, but she returned it. He couldn't help but question what this meant for them in the future though, but he wouldn't worry himself, he wouldn't dare worry himself. Rather, he just returned her kiss, letting himself be lost in the heat of the moment. His one free arm moved from her hair and wrapped itself around the Twilight Princess's waist and pulled her closer to him. He was entranced by just how soft her skin felt. Despite her being a girl who didn't mind getting in on the action when things got violent, her skin was soft to the touch. He didn't want to let go. Considering how close they were right now, there was no way he was just going to let her break it off, give him an impish grin, and flee with a giggle. Nah-uh, there was no way he was going to let her leave, not now, not tonight. Tonight would be something special, and maybe there could be something more throughout the night, and even after. He was curious as to what Midna considered this all to be. Whether it was casual or something more. Nightmare pulled away, and he instantly regretted it, but he still held on the princess. "This is going to be so much fun to explain." He joked, not really explaining it well. But he figured that she would know exactly what he meant; the fact that both their people, Ainur and Twili were not going to be taking this very well. He had a feeling her people would take it much harder, what with their Princess leaving the Twilight Realm to have fun with a Dragon Emperor. "But..." He tugged in a gentle manner in the direction of his room, indicating that he wanted to take this elsewhere. "I really don't care." He winked at her. He was going to enjoy this night between himself and the Twilight Princess, racial differences be damned.

Just shoot for the stars, if it feels right, then aim for my heart This could have easily been redirected in another direction. Midna could have easily called it all off then and there leaving the dragon hanging on a whim. However her immature heart decided that there was something there between them. Whether it was the challenge of making him fall for her had anything to do with it or not, for the moment, everything felt like it was meant to happen. Her first kiss held little meaning being that she didn't even acknowledge that factor to Night - not that he needed more factors to boost his ego. Remember, this wasn't about inflating each others ego, it was earnestly turning into something more... for a lack of a better work, intimate~
If there was any space wedged in between them before now it ceased to exist whatsoever. Nightmare's arm slid from her hair down to her curvacious waist. Midna could feel it. The urgent need to keep his hold upon her. A desire so pure it couldn't go unnoticed; that no matter what tricks she pulled, he wouldn't let her get away from his grasp. Not that was going to be problematic because she wouldn't put up a struggle or resist. Why should she? She was certainly enjoying it as much as Nightmare had. She didn't want it to stop here.
When he pulled away, she could sense the disappointment welling up within him. The feeling was quite mutual but deep down she knew exactly what his intentions were. A smile curled up upon her dark lips. The surface of her skin tingling from the gentle pressure she felt against his own lips pressed against hers earlier. Sweet, yet wild like a freshly picked fruit from the vines. A giggle escaped from her lips as the impish smile formed understanding completely what he wanted. A change in location~ That certainly wasn't a bad idea either. Linking her arms around his, she playfully nuzzled her head against his arm before looking up to the Emperor. "That makes two of us then," she cooed seductively.
As she asked she tugged back gently onto his arms as she began to move. Their next destination: the bedroom. From this moment on, there was no turning back~ What was going on within her head, she had absolutely no idea, but the rush was worth it. Sure, there was an inkling of doubt clouding a portion of her brain, but it was something she'd have to shake off to truly experience what could come out of the foreign areas that are coming clearer to the Twilight Princess.

One for the Dark Lord on his Dark Throne In the land of Mordor where the Shadows lie The Emperor made no resistance to her latching right onto his arm. In fact, he found it rather cute that she was doing so. In a way, it felt like they were at a dance, and that she was his date to said dance. Though he couldn't help but mentally snicker a little as he realized how wrongly dressed they would be for such a thing. Such a thing also caused him to realize just how much their state of dress contrasted each other. Him, dressed in a full bartender suit, complete with the vest. Her, dressed in nothing but a nightgown. Though really, he rather liked this. Though now he was wondering what was going to happen, and if that nightgown was going to be staying on her body much longer. The door to his room opened, and Nightmare entered, giving a little spin, as if he was dancing with the Twilight Princess. This was going to be a fun night, that was for sure. Even if she called it all off now, he could genuinely say that he enjoyed it. Nightmare closed the door as they went in. After all, something like this was just something that you did behind closed doors, not something to show off to the world. No windows either, so there were no chances of anyone sneaking a look. As far as the Dragon was concerned, it was just him and Midna, and he was going to make the most of his time, even as he led her to his bed. Nightmare allowed himself to fall onto his soft bed, but that didn't mean he would fall on it alone. He kept his grip on his Princess, pulling her down with him. His hands wrapped around her lithe frame as he took in her scent. Part of him thought that this wasn't real, that it was all a dream, and that he would be waking up any second now. Nightmare rested his cheek within her locks, content just to be like this if she so wished. Though it seemed like it would be going farther. "You realize there's no going back if we go through with this, right?" He whispered, just making sure that she knew what was happening. This would be both their first times. This was something that couldn't just be negated with a few simple words.

Just shoot for the stars, if it feels right, then aim for my heart Over sideways, free-wheeling, and spinning out of control; a rushing whirl fluttered like butterfly kisses through her veins. One could even consider the immature princess at her first dance. Excited, anxious, but most importantly vivacious tonight. However this was a private dance between the two of them. Nobody else can see what will be disclosed between the walls that enclosed their new found secret. With a body curved just right, the hour glass was ticking like a clock, and it was only a matter before their time will run out.
Soon enough they entered the bedroom, following Nightmare, laughing softly as they twirled around. Once again, it could have stopped there before it progressed any further. Midna had that on her mind the whole time, it could have easily been concluded right there, and that was it. The thing is... she couldn't imagine stopping it right now when they've come so far to begin with. What would be the fun in letting him off high and dry? The Twilight Princess couldn't put it pass her to be that heartless to him~
She let out a small gasp while being taken down with the Emperor, creating new crevices within the sheets, as they laid in bed. Being pulled so close to another reminded her of just how small she really was compared to their built. We're not even talking about his true form at that either~ Digressing again. Her carmine eyes fluttered up into Night's as she gave him a impish smirk. He was right, but there was no need to beat on a dead horse.
"Don't tell me you're getting cold feet now~?" she replied simply. What made her confident, and assured about it all was the fact that this wasn't a one-sided adventure. It was her acknowledgement as she slid off the silk dress. That was the easy part~ Nightmare was going to be a bit of work, thus she offered assistance where necessary. However before she started, she took in between her teeth the bow of his suit, undoing it, and swiped it off of his collar~
The rest of the night started to [ fade to black. ]
