Merik couldn't think of anything to counter that remark; even with his trying to protect Kotone, he could never force her to leave her family and the Gerudo. Finally he sat back up and simply hugged her tight to him.

"I suppose we're just in trouble any way you look aren't we..." he said quietly as he just held her for a time.

Kotone finally won a talk as he could not counter it. It was true she would protect him no matter what as it cost her life. Merik just did not understand how important he is to all the Gerudo out there. Even if there was some bad history with the last male gerudo. It was Gerudo law to follow merik. However to Kotone even if it was not law she still follow him no matter what. No only family but she care deeply for him.

Kotone smiled deelpy as he held on to her in a hug. She was so happy to a point she thought she was going to cry however she did not. She just smiled as she glad he was not going to stop her. She nodded to him but she hope he open his heart again. To think he tried hard for a long time to no love her to protect her when she been protecting him all this time. Some things just seem to happen but she glad he open up.

"And I suppose we're going to have to figure out what it is that we're going to do about the situation we find ourselves in." Merik continued a few seconds later as he reluctantly pulled back.

When he saw Kotone smile he couldn't help but smile himself, it was an increasingly rare sight from her lately and he had grown to miss it. He gently stroked her cheek as they sat in silence just enjoying the only happy moment that the coliseum had ever been witness to.

Kotone was loving this time now as it was not about war, another women, or some other problem. The only thing she wanted to say in his arms but he pulled away as they need to figure out something. She closed her eyes a bit as he touched her cheek. It was true it been sometime since she truly smiled. In truth she can't remember as she been so upset and angry at something or someone all the time.

She listen to around her thought she knew the deep sounds of the coliseum but being by Merik right now. That sound seem to chance as she was hearing the sound change. To her everything and everyone have their own music but this is the first time she heard one change like this. It was nice but she could care less at the moment as she was with merik. Her eyes open as she smiled still on her face.

'So what do you want to do Ti Merik?' her lips moved as she looked at him. To her she don't mind letting people know. Heck even if he said keep it a secret that be easy once more as she a good liar as long it not to Ruma. As she seem to be catching on to her.

"I honestly have no idea..." Merik replied with a few shakes of his head before just staring into her eyes. "But I suppose it's a decision that can wait until morning. The both of us have had so many problems to deal with lately, perhaps its for the best if we take the rest of the night off."

He didn't think that Kotone would disagree with his decision, but he still didn't really give her time to think on it as he suddenly leaned in and kissed her. It started soft but quickly became more fierce and passionate as years of repressed feelings were finally being released and acted on.

After an eternity he finally broke the kiss and offered her an apologetic smile.

"Sorry...I didn't really mean to move that fast..."

Kotone figure he would say that but resting for the night to think more on it in the morning sounded great. What made her upset and made during the day was so far away in her head and disappeared as he just kissed her. It was no light kiss but a soft kiss going wild. No she did not mind at all in fact she rather liked it. Her lips were given something to really do then fake speak.

As he stop her eyes looked a bit of a daze as light blush across her face. She listen to him say sorry to her thought she did not know what for. She grab his necklace around his neck and pulled him back forward to her and kissed him back. She don't think she ever going to use her lips for fake speak again as they seem to be truly meant for his lips. She kissed him back but her lips kissed him as if playing with his lips. Her hand let go of his necklace as her arm wrap around his neck.

She loved him there was no doubt about that.

Merik smirked as Kotone pulled him back towards her though it was only visible for the barest second before their lips met once more. The feel of her beside him, the taste of her lips, it was all perfection and he didn't think he could be happier if it had been the goddess with him. As her arms wrapped around his neck he slipped one arm around her back and one beneath her as he rose to his feet. He only broke the kiss when he started walking across the arena.

"The King's of old kept sleeping chambers here in case tournaments went on for days...I've never had a need for them before but I think they'll find some use tonight." he said with a kiss on her forehead.

A quick search turned up a decent sized chamber near the Royal Box adorned with little more than a bed and a dresser. The room was surprisingly well kept and he could only assume that there was some sort of custodian for the place. Pushing the door closed behind them he walked to the bed, knelt and gently laid her down on it.

Kotone knew he was liking this all as he finally get to express his self to her then hide it. She saw his heart or his love for her fully now. She still could not understand why people thought he was a mean or cruel person. No he was a very strong person who cares for his people a lot. She blinks as she was lift up in the air in his arms as he was clearly stronger then her. It seem she lost that battle long time ago but she always hope to protect him still.

She blinks as he kissed her forehead well more her jewel on her forehead but still. She listen to him and nods as she never got to fully explore this place. No she was always wanting explore the temple more then this place. She was put on the bed as she was shock how nice this place was seeing how place the place is. She looked at Merik as she blushed a bit but not much at all. It was odd for her to be treated like this as she was a rough girl who fights a lot and finds history fun. So this was new feeling for her.

"Kotone I just need to know, are you sure this is what you really want? Because I won't do anything if you aren't sure." Merik asked as he trailed his fingertips along her side. "And I know that you're probably thinking that I'm worrying over nothing but even if we kept this hidden it would change things and who can say what will come of it..."

Giant monsters, a ship full of Knights, Witches...none of those things had ever so much as fazed him. But here with the woman he had loved as long as he could remember he realized that he was terrified of the future that would come no matter what she chose.

Kotone looked at him as trail his finger tips across her side. Her hand touch his hand and pulled his hand close to her heart or chest. This is what she wanted as she loved him thought she knew she was not his first. But however she was the one he loved and she loved him back. Of course she might hurt him more now if he tries to sleep with anymore females now. She nodded to him but she started to move her lips once more. 'Do we really have to hide this? You know I'm strong and can kick or rather kill any one who get in my way.'

"I want to keep the risks as low as possible and if that means we'll have to hide our love then we will..." Merik said as he kissed her once more before standing back up.

As he walked around the bed he pulled off his tunic and tossed it away, pausing only to remove his boots before laying down on the bed with her.

"But tonight we don't need to hide a thing."

Kotone nodded to him thought she rather no hide anything from the Gerudo tribe in truth. She took his kiss and wanted more but he stood up and started to get undress. She watched him as it been some time she saw him fully as she saw him a kid but she grown a lot. Yes a lot. She could not help but look at him a bit then snapped out of it as he came back over. She could not help be lean over to him pressing her chest on him as she kissed him deeply.

Merik slid his arm around Kotone and pulled her closer as she pressed against him for another kiss. The feel of her clothing irritated him slightly as it was keeping him from a few of the places he was anxious to explore but then he caught himself: the night was young and he knew that by morning he'd be very familiar with every inch of her body.

And we'll get to see if she finds her voice during the night... he thought mischievously as he snapped out of thoughts to focus fully on the beautiful woman beside him.

Kotone sat up on him as she looked at him as she broke form his kiss. She smiled at him as she could not see him as the kid she once knew anymore. No he was much more then that to her now. She reach down and took off her tight shirt as it took some pulling as she took it off and looked back at him. 'Your mind is dirty' her lips moved as she kissed him once more.
