Negotiating (Finished)

Using the guard uniform kindly given to her by the Gerudo King, Titania had little trouble, with the aid of some temporary alteration magic, entering the Gerudo Fortress. Her day had been slow, and she craved a little excitement. Luckily, she knew someone more than willing to provide that excitement: good ol' King Merik.

Damn, do I look good in these balloon pants."[/i] She was thinking as she went through the corridors of the fortress. Granted, she looked good in everything, but that was beside the point. The only problem was that soon after entering the fortress, her golden eyes returned to their natural, darker color. The magic didn't last long enough to get her all the way to Merik's room, but getting into the fortress was good enough.

Ok, this was the right door. Titania, time to shine. Again.[/i] She knocked on the door, expecting Merik to be surprised when she arrived there for him.

Little did she know that if she was paying attention the door was Kotone's, not Merik's.

Kotone was on her way out thought she knew something was up. Oddly the area seem to have a different tone. It was like the Desert songs was fighting some other song that not form the desert. However she pay no mind to it as she had grab some scrolls place in bottle in her arms as she open the door/answer the door. She looked at the person standing there in disbelief to see a pale lady in a gerudo outfit at her door. She was very lovely and all but if Kotone did not know the every gerudo at the fortress she be no bodyguard for Merik.

Her stuff drop to the ground as one bottle scatter as she reach to her pole arm dagger by the door. Her lips moved but no sound came out as she was trying to say 'Who are you? How dare you mock gerudo women!' She turn her pole arm dagger at the lady as her golden eyes stare her down. She did not like this as this must be someone come to try to kill Merik or someone trying to steal secret from her room. Heck even someone trying to take one of Ruma's robots... ok the last one was a no. Since she does not have anything that works at the moment but still. This was a thief or spy in a Gerudo fortress.

At this time she wish she had her voice so she can call out for help by her fellow Gerudo women. However she could not and she have to stop this lady and bring her down. Thought she already pretty strong because of being Merik's bodyguard but she did not know who this lady was so she did not know what games she might be playing.

Titania was confused when a woman answered the door. True, women answered almost every door here but she was searching for the one male. Perhaps she was too late and he took another woman to bed. Either way, this wasn't good. Now she was facing down weapons. Well this was a riveting start to the trip. Similar to the last one though.

"Uhh, hi. I'm not here to cause trouble, I just...uhhh...please don't hurt me. I think I knocked on the wrong door. I'll just be going now. Bye." She began to sidestep away from the door, inching slowly, not making any sudden movements. She did have a dagger of her own but she didn't want to start a fight. Besides, she wasn't going to win a fight against a Gerudo.

The lady was clearly no reading her lips like most Gerudo females would. Heck this women did not know who she was it seem like most of the pirates would know. However she was not going to go soft on anyone who dare to enter their home. Even more it seem the person was trying to find someone well to bad. Kotone was not going to let that happen as there was no way she was going to let a stranger walk around here with out a pass of some kind. Even the pirate who on Merik crew has passes to enter this place but she doubt this lady does if she dressing up like one of them.

The lady started to get away as she bag her pole hilt on the ground loud then pointed back at the lady. Her lips moved again as it was clearly saying Stop and don't move. Kotone was not in the mood to play tag in a place she know inside and out. She moved around the lady and pointed to the wall telling her to get up against the wall. She bang her hilt on the ground once more to tell her now. This women did not know Kotone way of talking but Kotone was not going to give her baby talk in mute. She was clearly taller then the women but she normally is unless they are a goron or some kind of monster.

Titania put her hands up when the polearm was pointed at her again. She was worried about this situation, for the Gerudo was not happy one bit. She looked a bit familiar but she didn't want to start asking too many questions. Titania started to realize that this one was not messing around, she wanted Titania up against the wall.

"Ok ok, I'll do it, just don't hurt me." Titania put herself up against the wall obediently. Normally being thrown up against a wall was supposed to be exhilarating but this was going south in a hurry. Secretly she began to focus her energies in case this got out of hand. Unless the lady knew white magic she wouldn't be able to tell. And there were bigger issues here if she did.

Kotone watched her as she did as she was told or gestured to do. Kotone went over to her still holding her weapon in one hand but with her free hand she started to pat the women down. Finding any items or weapons and taking it off of her. She was not going to have anymore fight in her home. Heck she not going to have someone try to leave. However as she was patting her down she felt like she could hear music from her.

She paused in her patting as she just stood there for a moment. Was it the women? she knew everyone has their own sound to them but this one was stronger as if she was standing next to someone great. Of course Kotone always been kin on sounds maybe why she love music as she sound music in almost everything. She shook her head and went to finish off the search on this lady then try to tie her up and take her down to a cell.

Titania wasn't objecting to being patted down. Granted it would have been nice to still have her dagger but at this point she wasn't in a position to argue. Besides, it didn't feel particularly bad to be searched. She did a thorough job. Not quite what Titania was expecting but still nice.

Then she went for the rope and began to tie her up. Typically Titania was all for this, but this case seemed different. Titania wasn't getting the vibe that came with her version of tying people up, so she objected.

"Hold up a second. There's no need for this. You can keep the dagger, I just came to see King Merik, nothing more. We don't need to make a scene here. Please, just don't do anything rash." She was being completely honest, so hopefully this situation would just blow over.

Kotone finished up as she put all the items in a small bag and put it on her hip. She turn the lady around to see her face to face as she seem to still be wanting to see someone. Well someone turn out to be Merik her cousin. She tap her pole arm dagger hilt on the ground and looked at her as she held the rope in her hands that tied to the lady's arms. This lady was nuts thinking she was going to Merik just like that. Heck she was his body guard as she was not going to let a stranger see Merik. After all he did not need anymore women around him.

Kotone waved her hand a bit and looked at her funny trying to see who this lady was. Kotone knew a lot of people however she did not know who this person was. If she did she would not be this kind to her. No she would of strike right off with out a warning or stop right there.

Titania didn't want to put up to much of a struggle, lest she be struck down or worse. However, because of that she now found her arms bound. This was off to a wonderful start. She was going to put her in a cell. Wait a minute, this lady had no idea who she was. Maybe this wouldn't work out poorly after all.

"Fine, do what you will. Anything to move this along." She rolled her eyes in frustration, just waiting for this to be over was going to take some time. This one was very deliberate, by the book. Hopefully she would just get Titania to the cells quickly.

Kotone found this to be a growing pain as she rather just kill the women and deal with the dead body later. However Merik rules are find out the person if its someone important then get someone to pay for their return back. If its not important either kill them or make them a slave. However by the flicker of the women's eyes she did not seem like she was going to tell her who she was. No she was hiding something she knew that much and it had to do something with Merik.

She pushed her along down the hall heading to the prison hall. There couple people down there already. People who thought they either can steal from them or people they caught on boats in the sea and brought back to sell back to their people. She open a sell and pushed the lady in and locked the cell. She hands the keys back to a Gerudo guard as she started back up the stairs. Kotone was no fool as she knew the lady might try to get away but she knew where she was heading and she be in that hall waiting using her Sleath to no be seen.

As the cell door closed from behind her, Titania snickered. Her captor had left the area, and now was her time to shine. Literally.

As soon as Kotone was gone she looked at one of the Gerudo guards, summoning her over. The guard, however, remained at her post, unwavering. Titania frowned and pouted.

"Fine. Stay over there. But tell your King that Titania is looking for him, and that she doesn't appreciate the hospitality." Without another word, Titania used the magical energy she had stored to enter her alternate fairy form, a ball of light. The alarms sounded, but Titania was already outside, intent on scouring the windows along the fortress hoping to find a glimpse of Merik, then just call for diplomatic immunity and put an end to this farce.

Kotone waited but nothing happen as she sighed. The alarms went off as she blinks as she did not think that would happen as she step out from her hidding place. Couple guards came running up to her telling her the news. The person she place in the cell was the Fairy Queen and she gotten away. Kotone eyes wide as she hands popped with anger. That women was with Merik and now she came back for seconds? Oh hell no! She looked to the guard as she pointed to to the halls to search and did the kill sign if they find her.

She grip her weapon as she went on the search herself. If she knew that women was the Fairy queen she could of bottle her up and had her as a trophy on her shelf or something to shake and laugh at when she feeling down. Heck just to kill her make her a thousand time better then she does right now. She had to find her before she find Merik as she did not want to let him see what she might do to her. Hell if only she can put ever women in a bottle like a fairy and the world be a better place.

Well for Kotone....

(OOC: Seeing as this partially involves Merik and I've been given permission from the get-go: A NEW CHALLENGER APPROACHES!)

Merik snapped into action the minute he heard the alarms going off. He had been hesitant to put them throughout the Fortress when Ruma had first described them to him (only partially due to the volatile nature of some of her experiments) but he had been quite pleased to discover they worked exactly as they were supposed to: alerting all the guards to trouble at a moment's notice. Quickly pulling on his boots and donning his crown (in case the alert was invasion related) he dashed from the room. Moving through a few hallways he quickly found a guard and stopped her.

"What's going on?"

"A prisoner escaped and a kill order was issued."

"That seems a little extreme for an escapee..." he murmured, rather curious about this. If a prisoner died while the guards tried to recapture it was one thing but to outright execute a prisoner without his go ahead was very odd. "Who was the prisoner that escaped?"

"The Fairy Queen my liege."

"And nobody thought to question the order to execute a high ranking political prisoner!?" he growled angrily as he started moving again, calling back before disappearing. "SPREAD THE WORD, NO ONE IS TO HARM THE QUEEN UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! AND SHUT THE DAMNED ALARMS OFF ALREADY!!"

Damnation Titania, what have you gone and done this time...? he thought as he started looking for her.

Just outside the fortress, Titania flew around, a glowing purple ball in a sea of brown shades, mostly tan. She looked through windows, hoping to find the king instead of the sharp end of a polearm. Instead, all she found were rooms containing more guards, or no one. She ducked into one of the empty rooms and became the beautiful woman once again.

Now then, not dying. That would be nice.[/i] She began to think as she also charged up some white magic. She had no plans to kill any Gerudo but little could be done if there was a kill order issued. She didn't know of the kill order of course, but judging by the fact that she was thrown in jail for no reason and then she escaped, sounding the alarms, the Gerudo may be set to kill, though since she announced who she was before escaping, Merik wouldn't allow that.

She stood there and pondered the thought, losing track of the fact that she was currently a wanted fugitive.

Kotone was tracking that bug down as she heard Gerudo spotted her here and there. She seem to not found Merik yet which was good. However with the alarm going off it seem Marik seem to heard what going on. Which means it only matter of time before he find her. Which he can't let happen as she have to kill the fairy or bottle it up. Either way she have to do it after. She knew she was getting close as even with all the chaos going about she knew her sound now.

She stop for a movement as she listen around her. She soon broke out in a rundown the hall. She turn the corner as she saw a door as she run up to it and open up a room as she pointed her pole arm dagger in. Hoping if not thinking the damn fairy bug lady was in here. She knew she passed a lot of gerudo on the way here but still. She was not going to let that witch next to Merik.

[Merik Dragmire]

Merik sped through rooms and down hallways trying to find Titania before someone really screwed up.

Maybe back in the cell's to throw off the guards? ... Nope[/i]

He had covered a lot of the Fortress with no luck when he turned a corner and spotted Kotone going into a room with her blade out.

"Well that explains the kill order...damnation Kotone..." he growled under his breath as he started down the hall after her.

Titania waited long enough, but her patience and curiosity were not helping her to stay in this room hiding. She finally peeked out the door long enough to see two guards point the sharp end of a polearm at her. Once again, not the best of timing or the best of doors.

"I surrender. Just let me see Merik, I'm unarmed." Despite her attempts to negotiate peacefully, they roughly threw her arms behind her back and led her to the their leaders.

Before long, Titania had arrived in the same hallway as Merik and Kotone. She flashed a guilty smile at Merik, still held from behind as she approached. Well, she got her wish, although not how she intended.

"Heh. Sorry about that, your majesty."

[Kotone]

Of course Kotone open the door to the nurse room as there was a couple Gerudo there helping someone. The nurse room had a couple bottle up fairies so it seem she was fooled by her own ears. A sweet drop seem to appeared as she bow to the people inside for scaring them as she shut the door. However she heard someone behind her as she turn to see Merik. She stood up and statute to him. However in her glaze she saw the Fairy Queen coming down the hall with two guards. Her lip curled as she glare at the women.

Her grip on her poke arm dagger tighten up as her golden eyes flare up. In all the time she been living this women was on the stop of the most hated list of Kotone. Dressing up as Gerudo female to get to Merik and trying to... have seconds with him. Like hell! She could not help herself as she lung forward to attack the lady.

[Merik Dragmire]

Merik got ready to question Kotone about her involvement with the events transpiring around them when a few things happened at once and he was immediately glad that he had bothered to pull on his boots.

First he heard Titania speaking from behind him and as he turned to look at her...

Kotone decided to answer his unspoken question by immediately having a go at the Queen.

In a burst of speed he closed his hand around his cousin's weapon and wrapped an arm around her waist as he moved behind her, gripping her just hard enough to keep her from moving.

"NAH-AH-AH! None of that Kotone!" he said calmly but sternly as he looked across the hall at Titania and his guards. "Apparently all that talk about not doing anything foolish doesn't apply to assassinating a race's leader and starting a war. You two release the Queen immediately; Titania, allow me to apologize on behalf of my overprotective, slightly xenophobic sister."

Titania wasn't exactly ready for being attacked, sure Kotone already threw her in a dungeon, but she wasn't aware of the hatred. Somebody was a little jealous. It made no difference, Merik would protect her, she hoped.

Having been released, she bowed to the two high ranking Gerudo. "Apology accepted. I try to avoid overprotective siblings on my way to surprising people, but it didn't turn out that way. I'm sorry I set off all the alarms and caused everyone to pee themselves and all that fun stuff. But I finally made it I guess." She walked over to Kotone, evidently Merik's sister.

"Hi there, I'm Titania, Fairy Queen." She decided to at least try and make nice with the sister, even though the sister didn't really seem to want to play nice.
