The Eldin Province made Fayth nervous. Of course, a lot of things made her nervous, but right now all the poor Gerudo wanted to do was puke, cry, and run away as fast as she could. But that just wasn't an option! She absolutely had to search this place for Grace. If she didn't, then she'd never forgive herself!
Still, Fayth stood in indecision on the road to Kakariko Village, gripping Ace in one hand and the other by her mouth, her teeth gently biting down on her thumbnail. She shook her head violently, causing a shower of dandruff to fly out of her fluffy red hair, which made her awkwardly brush the white flakes off her oversized sweater and leggings, which made her fall over, which made her start to cry.
At least she wasn't puking.
Yet.

The day had been a long one, but the weather had been nice. There was a soft and cool breeze, which was nice, especially in a place as dry as the Eldin Province. Not often did it get rain, which was Zaph's favorite weather, but it was cooler today, and so he had that to enjoy.
The entirety of the day had already been spent playing a piano recital in the Castle Town, which was successful as always, but now he was en route to talk to the Gorons about a special material found in their ore that created nice piano strings. He was really just a messenger, as there was no way he could afford it, but his sponsors could, and figured it would be a good thing to get if he were to play shows in larger stadiums than the recital hall, which had quickly become like a second home to him since he'd become more famous throughout Hyrule as a distinguished pianist-- and in remote locations-- singer.
Zaph couldn't ride a horse, and he couldn't find a caravan, so he'd chosen to walk. Good thing, too, as it gave him more time to hum and think to himself. He did enjoy walking in all weather but the heat, but especially the snow. He wasn't sure how much longer he'd have to wait for the snow, but he was excited for it nonetheless. Winter, cold as his heart was, was his favorite season.
As the young man came to an intersection in the road, he saw a very curious sight indeed. He stopped just a few feet short of a girl who was laying in the road in tears. Ordinarily, it would be quite a cute scene. She was an attractive girl dressed cutely, but her tears and whining were pissing Zaph off to the point that her appearance meant nothing to him. She had a bunny, too, which further pissed him off. He scowled at her, and shoved his hands in his pockets.
"...This is pathetic." He said bluntly, looking down at her. His eyes were cold and callous, and met hers. He showed no form of amicability in his face or in his eyes, and was rather upset that someone would just sit in the road and cry. He considered it to be spineless and a waste of good time.

Fayth was startled onto her feet at the sound of a voice, and she quickly wiped away her tears on her large sleeve so as not to seem too pathetic. Once the words the voice had spoken registered, though, she realized that it was a hopeless task, but tightly gripped Ace and kept her tears back all the same. She tucked her hair behind her ear and lowered her gaze to the ground, awkwardly shuffling her feet.
"S-sorry," she mumbled, a blush heating up her cheeks. How embarrassing! Just because she cried a lot didn't mean she could block other peoples' ways; it was so very rude of her to break down like that in the middle of the road. "I-I can make it up to you! ... somehow..."

"Hmph." Zaph guessed, using his intuition, that the girl was quiet and reserved on a normal basis; different than his fans, who were so because of his talent. She was weak and spineless, two things he hated, though she seemed to fear him in ways as though he would physically attack her. Naturally, Zaph would never do that unless in his uncontrollable monster state, but he didn't often revert to that. He stepped back, his hands still in his pockets, and studied the girl before him for a bit.
She was shorter than he, and wore a seemingly too big sweater. She had long, red hair and seemed to have a bit of a dandruff issue, though that didn't trouble Zaph too much. He eyed her coldly as she stood and shuffled her feet. "Make it up to me?" He mused, chuckling to himself viciously a bit. "Come on, toughen up. You didn't do anything wrong. Hey, look at me." He said firmly, trying to help the poor girl get a spine.
Pulling his hands out of his pockets, Zaph stood, studied her, and folded his arms. "Sorry?" He asked, his voice nearly attacking her with its viciousness. "I'm sorry you're so spineless. Come on, say something to me. Get angry. Get pissed off. Yell at me!" He said playfully, being a bully as he normally was. He wanted her to get angry. He desperately wanted to see her get upset with him, though he was sure it wasn't going to happen.

Tears pricked at her eyes, and she tried her hardest to keep them back; he was just so mean, though. Why was he being so mean to her? Laughing at her, then yelling at her, and being all mean and stuff. What, did he want her to burst into tears again? Was he the kind of guy who got off on something like that? Oh, goddesses, Fayth hoped he wasn't a rapist or anything. The idea made her breath come short, and she stumbled back a few steps, her eyes widening as she did so.
Was she going to get raped?
An involuntary whimper escaped the poor girl's lips, and she nearly fell as she backed away. Why did this have to happen to her? Was it karma for being so pathetic, breaking down in the middle of the road like that? Well, Fayth hardly felt that rape was a suitable punishment for that! If it really was karma, then she couldn't get away from the inevitable, but maybe she could try to save herself from this meanie. It was silly, thinking that someone would come by to save her. Grace wasn't around anymore. Grace disappeared three years ago.
Grace couldn't save her, not this time.
"I-I'm sorry, I d-don't..." she mumbled, shuffling away as quickly as she could. Please please please, let him give up or something. "I have... to... go..."

Zaph stuffed his hands in his pockets casually, as if he hadn't done a thing wrong. In his mind, he hadn't; he was building someone's confidence, or so he hoped. Though, it was clear this girl would be tough to crack. She was weak, pathetic, spineless, nerveless-- everything. There was nothing attractive about her personality to him. He hated that, and offered the girl a scowl as she stepped back. Shaking his head slowly, and looking down to the ground, Zaph sighed heavily.
"You're hopeless." He said bluntly, looking back into her eyes with a cold, callous stare. She was stuttering and nearly falling backwards on herself. It was clear to the young man that she wanted nothing to do with him; in fact, the girl seemed terrified of him. She couldn't even speak, she was so full of fear. It was ridiculous. The only thing scary about Zaph was his monster form; everything else was just assholery. "Come on, say something. You can't even get a full word out. Relax, I'm not gonna hurt you. Geez..." He finished, with a depressed tone in his voice. For once in his life, the brilliant pianist wished that someone would snap back at him. This girl definitely wouldn't.
"What, cat got your tongue? Come on, I know you can speak. I'm a person, just like you are. We're no different. Stop being so pathetic and come back at me, how about it?" He narrowed his eyes at her in an attempt to anger her, his stance steady and in place, his dark gaze fixated on her shy being.
